Giving a Thornmail some kind of real retaliation (Damage would still be around 35-50 per hit with over 300 armor) vs. those champs could bring back to life some of the tanks._ {{item:3143}} +400 Health +60 Armor **-10% damage dealt by your champion** (_To avoid certain bruiser champs like Garen to go immortal and spin to win_) **UNIQUE Passive**: **Each time when hit by critical strike from basic attack or ability, lower the damage from it by 12% for 2sec (3 stacks)(cooldown: 30)** **UNIQUE Passive - Cold Steel**: When hit by basic attacks, reduces the attacker's Attack Speed by **20% decaying over 1.5sec** **UNIQUE Active**: Slows the Movement Speed of nearby enemy units by 55% for 2 seconds (60 second cooldown). **REASON**: _While basic attacks critical strikes are still a thing, most of recent ADCs/champions have ways around them (Vayne - Silver bolts, Jhin - damage per missing health on passive) and simply taking away 20% from 25% on IE is not enough on certain champions like *Cough* {{champion:157}} . Giving the possibility for tanks to feel like a tank once in a while, whould make their gameplay much more enjoyable._ **IDEAS:** Give a set of tank items that simply reduce damage dealt by your champion, in example... **ARMOR AND MAGIC RESISTANCE AS YOU GET HIT AT THE COST OF DAMAGE** **UNIQUE passive - Turtling**: Each time you're hit by enemy, increase your armor and magic resistance by 5 (Up to 50), but lowers your AD and AP by 8 (up to 80). **ACTIVE ABILITY THAT ALLOWS YOU TO SOAK DAMAGE AT THE COST OF FIGHTING CAPABILITY** **UNIQUE Active - Conversion**: Reduce damage taken from enemies by 75% for next 0.75sec. However, reduce damage you deal by 90% and silences you for 1.75sec (Cooldown: 60-75) There are more ideas in my mind. However, I would like to see the opinion of other people. Please note, that all numerical values are just examples.
