I quit maining WuKong after 1.3k Wuk games

Hello Boards, This is a post about how I feel about WuKongs current state in the game. I played more than 1000 WuKong games and started maining him in season 4(EUW:IGN: madbaddog05). http://euw.soloq.gg/multi/search/46369694/ALL However, after season 6(just 2 weeks ago) I quit maining him. Why? Because simply every top lane matchup or other matchup there is shits on WuKong. I peaked Diamond 3 with playing WuKong only and got so frustrated I quit maining him completely and now moved to maining mid/adc.(which is why I am D5 now). Not to mention when I started playing op champs like Trundle I had the same results that I had with WuKong, but it was 1000x easier and more effective. Moving on. This is what is wrong with WuKong in my eyes. You are simply way too squishy and everyone can beat you in a 1v1 scenario. Think about it. _Riven > shits on WuKong you have to play safe. Poppy: Holy moly I forgot about her, I hope you have a good jungler or a bad poppy on top. Trundle > don't even try this you will get annihalated Fiora > good luck buddy Renekton > simply way too much sustain Olaf > too much poke early, even if you hit late game you will lose Shyvana > simply outdamages you and outtanks you Etc. Etc. The only matchup which are easy in my eyes are range champions or very squishy champions with little early game damage: like yasuo(between lvl 4-9ish) and ryze(between lvls 1-4) for example. _ As such, no matter WHO you are up against. You can't go even with WuKong because EVERY champion outscales you in the current meta and teamfighting is frustrating as hell, because of the current support meta(Alistar,Janna,Soraka,Thresh) all possesing disengages. Every single game I pick WuKong there is always a glaring thought in the back of my mind: If you go equal in lane, you lose game. Not to mention if you firstpick WuKong there is always the guy that picks pantheon or Renekton and the game forces you to sit behind your turret and start defencive items or and hope your jungle ganks you before panth decides to dive you or force you to back and lose lane. ** Now I made this post just to get your thoughts on WuKong. I think he needs something to be buffed. My thoughts are giving him a bit more tankyness, but this can turn him into an op champion. For now everyone that is thinking about maining WuKong to gain elo. I recommend you not to in high elo. He can pubstomp in lower elo, but once people actually know you can get shutdown with ease they will simply abuse you. SPEED 345 _ His hp regen early game is 6.2 is low imo taking account on the ammount of sustain issues he has . _ Stone Skin RANGE: 1400 Stone Skin Wukong gains 4 / 6 / 8 bonus armor and magic resistance for each visible nearby enemy champion._ Balanced. _Crushing Blow RANGE: 「 300 」 COST: 40 MANA COOLDOWN: 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 Crushing Blow ACTIVE: Wukong's next attack within 5 seconds gains range, deals additional physical damage and reduces his target's armor for 3 seconds. BONUS PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 (+ 10% AD) ARMOR REDUCTION: 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30% of target's armor Crushing Blow resets Wukong's autoattack timer. _ Also a balanced ability in my eyes early game. However late game this ability doesn't do much. It is simply an armor shred and an extra auto attack. Buff this ability a bit late. _Decoy RANGE: 175 COST: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 MANA COOLDOWN: 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 / 10 Decoy ACTIVE: Wukong enters stealth for 1.5 seconds and leaves behind a decoy of himself which, after 1.5 seconds, vanishes and deals magic damage to all nearby enemies. MAGIC DAMAGE: 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250 (+ 60% AP) _ As with his Q, unless you are building AP Wukong (?) your AA will do a lot more damage. Compared to leblanc which has a longer lasting clone but shows her real self aswell which can be a good or bad thing depending on who the enemy target. It needs a bit more to offer in my eyes. Just a little bit though. _Nimbus Strike RANGE: 625 / 187.5 COST: 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 MANA COOLDOWN: 8 Nimbus Strike ACTIVE: Wukong dashes on a cloud to the target enemy and sends out images to attack up to two additional enemies near the primary target, dealing physical damage to each enemy struck. PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 (+ 80% Bonus AD) Upon hitting his target, Wukong gains bonus attack speed for 4 seconds. BONUS ATTACK SPEED: 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50%_ This ability is balanced aswell in my eyes. It doesn't need change. Good scaling and low cooldown overall. The only ''issue'' with this ability is that his E can block projectiles. I don't know if it is a bug or not, but it should be fine. Compared to xin zhao's E it is fine. _Cyclone RANGE: 162.5 COST: 100 MANA COOLDOWN: 120 / 105 / 90 Cyclone ACTIVE: Wukong spins around for up to 4 seconds, losing the ability to use abilities and basic attacks but dealing physical damage to all nearby enemies every second. Enemies affected by Cyclone for the first time are briefly Airborne icon knocked up. 「 PHYSICAL DAMAGE PER SECOND: 20 / 110 / 200 (+ 110% AD) 」 During Cyclone, Wukong gains 5% bonus movement speed every half second, up to a maximum of 40% bonus movement speed._ Buff the tick speed to 0.25 seconds for starters. Just like Garen which does 3/4 of Wu's R dmg with his E (on level 6 with 3 points) and still manages to be tanky as hell? If Garen can have it give it to WuKong aswell, since it would stack cleaver faster. And Wu's lvl 6 damage 20+110% total ad. (20+81.4) base at lvl 6 increasing to (20+93.5) at level 10. Between his lvl 6 and 11 damage I'd say this ult is pretty weak. Assuming you have perfect cs: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/File:Perfect_Creep_Score.png You usually hit level 6 around 40-50 farm. Which assuming you use this chart with perfect cs would take you 5(usually 6ish depending on how hard you lose or win) minutes by whitch you would have made 1.7k gold(with perfect cs,no one gets this trust me only if you are a korean pro challenjour). I usually start tanky and get phage (1250 gold) and long sword (360) gold. Say I start corrupting potion this is what I would scrape by. Or a dirk with (20ad) and a long sword (10ad). Giving a total of around 25-30 ad. Add this on your ultimate level 6. _(20+81.4+27,5=128,9 per tick?) Let us be honest here. This is utterly useless. It is like ulting only to deal a total of 515.6 damage level 6 and at level 10 assuming you got perfect cs it would take around 15 minutes to get by which you started maxing your Q that deals a little bit of damage and your E is maxed out. With perfect cs you would have like 3.5k gold lets go for 3k (Random number since no one reaches perfect cs) with kills you will have something like that. With 3k gold you would not have enought for ghostblade. So you would have {{item:3134}} + {{item:1001}} + {{item:3133}} if you were going straight damage. Lets do the maths: (20 + 27,5 + 22 + 93.5= 143 damage per tick) x 4 seconds = 572 total damage on a 4 second duration. The ticks deal slightly more damage than your auto attacks and for an ultime its weak for a lvl 6 R. Compare it to other ults in game, (darius 100+75% bonus ad + his stacks) does half that damage instantly on lvl 6. **_ Conclusion: Wukongs level 6 ult is bad and needs a buff. His W needs a slight buff late on some part(idk feels like an odd ability) and his hp regen can get a small buff aswell(imo). His Q is weak late aswell and his E is the best ability in his kit alongside his level 2 ultimate which you get around 18 MINUTES in game. By that time I hope you won lane and could get past your horrible level 6-11 because a lot of champions can 1v1 you anyways. _ (P.S. I can get more in depth but don't have time at the moment. If you want I can dish out ALL of his weak points and why he gets sht on badly if he doesn't get a big lead)_ Furthermore, how come other champions get HUGE sustain or a shield to compensate and WuKong doesn't? Let's take a look at tanky champions currently: Shyvana: Huge steroid on her passive % hp damage makes her viable throughout all game with rageblade and has pretty op clearspeed to make up for her weak early. Trundle: This champion is an abomination in my eyes. He literally is the perfect tank to pick. High sustainability, tankiness, strong early/mid/late. Rammus: Good tank stats and good damage. Basically a carry killer. Riven: E> although she is weak aswell with partially the same issues as wu(low shield duration) Malphite: Huge damage while building tank and a passive shield. Etc.Etc. Almost every champion has some kind of thing to help them in lane phase to sustain or shield but WuKong doesn't have anything at all while having items that cost A LOT to buy since old cleaver and lw aren't there anymore to help him out. TL/DR WuKong needs a buff by, Madbaddog05 (EUW) Edit: Someone else's thoughts on WuKong which I can easily relate with aswell: Now I've played Wukong for 3 years straight and have that many games it's stupid, I love him as a champion and loved everything about his kit and play style, I've play probably 95% of my games as Wukong mid and have always found going top to be handicapping myself, but as of late I feel the way the game works just fucks over Wukong in most ways. For starters he isn't the best tank killer and usually has a hard time fighting tanks especially now with them fucking over last whisper, Also with more bruiser builds pretty much being the meta I feel going burst Wukong just doesn't cut it when teams group well or play some of the stupid champions. ie Tahm Kench A bit of a rant but I wish they made tanks be tanks and not deal an insane amount of damage while also being near impossible to kill and make people who deal damage squishy.
