Malzahar Champion Rework

Intro Hey, so this is my first ever champion rework thing, and I really wanted to change Malzahar. I've played this game for 4 years now and Malzahar has been such an awesome champion in my opinion, but just got left behind a long time ago. Hopefully this type of rework will help him! Criticism is always welcome and do tell me your suggestions on something I should change or do a different champ. Thanks ! --------------------------------------------------------------- Summon Voidling (NEW) PASSIVE: On every fourth ability use, Malzahar summons a Voidling that remains on the field until it is killed or 21 seconds have passed. If Malzahar dies, the Voidling stays behind and keeps attacking. Voidlings grow in size after 7 seconds, gaining 25% increased attack damage and armor, and frenzy after 10 seconds, gaining 75% attack speed. I changed only few numbers here as his E will improve this passive. Nothing else to say here really. --------------------------------------------------------------- Call of the Void (OLD) RANGE: 900 / 400 COST: 80 / 85 / 90 / 95 / 100 MANA COOLDOWN: 9 ACTIVE: Malzahar opens up two portals to the Void which, after a 0.5-second delay, Silence icon silence all enemies caught between them and deal them magic damage. MAGIC DAMAGE: 80 / 135 / 190 / 245 / 300 (+ 50% AP) SILENCE DURATION: 1.4 / 1.8 / 2.2 / 2.6 / 3 All I've done here is removed a bit of the AP scaling on this ability, as this ability is fine, and I wanted to keep the silence as there are only few of them remaining. --------------------------------------------------------------- Null Zone (NEW) RANGE: 800 / 250 COST: 90 / 95 / 100 / 105 / 110 MANA COOLDOWN: 14 ACTIVE: Malzahar creates a zone of negative energy for 3 seconds, dealing magic damage every second to all enemies standing on it. The zone slowly pulls in enemies into the center until it collapses on it's self dealing % max health + X damage Strength of the pull X / X / X / X / X % Damage 4/6/8/10/12 (+1% for every 100 AP) Explosion Damage 150/200/250/300/350 (80% AP) This ability has changed a bit. Null Zone seems to do nothing in my opinion. This ability will cause the enemies to have decreased movement speed whilst in it and finally explode. This will add a nice element in Malzahars kit as well as counter play to it. This ability can be easily avoided with any jump or cleanse. However, it will be very rewarding if the enemy will be in the null zone for the entire duration. --------------------------------------------------------------- Malefic Visions (NEW) RANGE: 650 COST: 40 / 55 / 70 / 95 / 110 MANA COOLDOWN: 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 5 ACTIVE: Malzahar infects the target enemy's mind, dealing them magic damage every half second over 4 seconds. Malzahar also gains stacks of voidborn, for every unit killed with Malefic vision he gains a stack. These stacks improve his voidlings in different ways. If the target dies during this time, they pass Malefic Visions onto the closest enemy, refreshing the duration and restoring a portion of Malzahar's mana. 50- Voidlings can now do more damage depending on Malzahar's AP 100- Voidlings are twice as fast and now can be controlled with Alt + right click 150 - Voidlings have a chance to apply Malefic vision 200- Voidlings can now do % true damage MAGIC DAMAGE PER HALF SECOND: 10 / 17.5 / 25 / 32.5 / 40 (+ 10% AP) MANA RESTORED: 10 / 14 / 18 / 22 / 26 mana With Malzahar's E I wanted to make pushing a high risk high reward. Malzahar is known for pushing heavily, but because of it he doesn't gain anything. So I added a stacking mechanism in his kit. The voidlings will finally be useful and feel like an important skill in his kit. However, as always Malzahar can still be punished as he will have to push the lane to get these stacks, meaning he will be very vulnerable to ganks. --------------------------------------------------------------- Voidborn (NEW) RANGE: 700 COST: 100 MANA COOLDOWN: 120 / 100 / 80 Malzahar chooses a target to be suppressed by one of his big voidlings. The voidling jumps on the target for up to 3 seconds, doing damage while the player has no control where they walk. The voidling cannot be qss'ed or cleansed, but can be killed by your ally. If the voidling is used in Null Zone , the voidling will keep it's target in the Null Zone until it explodes. It also spawns 2 voidlings by your side. 250/400/550 (70% AP) Now, this ability is very interesting. I wanted something new in Malzahars kit. His ult just seemed like a long distanced Warwick ultimate. It made him really easy to focus as he would be standing in one spot and was easily countered. Without his ult he would often relay on his Q and occasional E. With this new ult the enemy team must keep track on who will have his voidling on them and quickly destroy it. The combo of Null Zone + Voidborn can be a deadly combo if the target is not helped during the time.
