I feel catch-up XP, albeit with good intentions, is a little over-tuned at the moment. I was just playing a game (now, it didn't impact the game at all), where the enemy jungler was 0-3-0 with considerably less farm than my jungler. He made one successful gank where he gained an assist, putting his score 0-3-1, still considerably behind on farm, and was a higher level than my jungler as a result. Somewhere, this has to be looked at as a flaw in the system. I agree with not making a game a complete stomp, trying to help make it fun, but at the same time it shouldn't get to the point where gaining advantages are neutralised freely.
