recommend me a midchamp

hi, so since i have to play mid as secondary ive been wondering what my "main mid" should be sofar ive played lulu and morg im a good lulu player(used to main her as sup back in the day) but i dont feel like i do enough dmg in a teamfight so im left at the mercy of my team since i can only support them. so i tried morgana whos midlane is really mindless and safe, but my teamfight impact just isnt there either(i dont feel like i do enough dmg i might just suck with her dunno) so what midlaner is relatively safe with good teamfight damage and maybe not a total nightmare to pick up?
