My Irelia Rework Concept

Hey guys I recently made a post asking about why Irelia is getting an eventual VGU (Visual Gameplay Update)/Rework. I got a lot of feedback clarifying a lot of things and so I thought.... how about I design my own Irelia rework!? I know riot is in early stages with this and any ideas, even ones from the little guys like me, could make a difference or spark an idea in one of their heads... that and I LOVE concepting champions and their abilities. Real Passion. From that first thread I had discovered that one of Irelia's issues is the fact that she is very simplistic with 90% of her abilities to be Point and click based in some way while also having a large amount of utility. She appears to be the original framework for other 1v1 style champions so I will try to stick with this 1v1 theme. I will link the thread I made previous to this and then on with the champion abilities! Link to the first thread: NOTE: I know this is a VGU but I have kept Irelia's lore the same for purposes of the identity of Irelia. I would make up a lore but Im not clever enough to do that while making her still have the thematics of Irelia :P. Primary: Fighter Secondary: N/A **Passive:** Ionian Fervor/Will of the Blades **Ionian Fervor:** Irelia reduces the duration of disables against her based on if she is outnumbered or not. Numbers Advantage: 0% Even Fight: 10% tenacity Outnumbered: 20/30/40% tenacity (at levels 1/8/15) **Will of the Blades:** Irelia’s weapon has 4 parts to it. Each part that remains part of Irelia’s weapon will grant her basic attacks 5-25 bonus magic damage on-hit per part. When a part of Irelia’s weapon hits an enemy champion, when fired from an ability, it will deal a bonus 20-80 true damage. If all 4 parts of Irelia’s weapon has gone her attacks will deal 75% less damage and she will lose 10-50% attack speed until 1 part returns. **Q Ability:** BladeSurge **Type:** Line, Point and click **Range:** 700, 650 **Passive:** Part’s of Irelia’s blades that are used in abilities lodge into enemies for up to 4 seconds; after 4 seconds parts of the blade will return to Irelia. Irelia can also pick up parts of her blade if she is in melee range of a lodged enemy. **Active:** Irelia uses her mind to project 1 part of her blade forward in a line dealing 10/30/50/70/90 (+ 0.6 Total AD) physical damage and lodging into the first enemy hit. This ability can be re-cast onto any currently lodged part of her blade to surge towards it dealing 30/60/90/120/150 (+ 0.75 Total AD) physical damage and applying on-hit effects. Killing an enemy with this surge will refund 50% of the mana cost and reset this abilities cooldown. Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds **W Ability:** Hiten Style **Type:** Buff, Self Area **Range:** 275 For the next 5 seconds Irelia’s weapon and any blades with it spin around her violently dealing 20/26/32/38/44 (+ 0.2 Bonus AD) physical damage each second to enemies hit (damage tick is reduced by 0.1 second for each part of Irelia’s blade that is with her). If Irelia has a part of her blade with her, Irelia’s basic attacks will cause a blade to strike at the enemy, not lodging to the enemy, and stealing 5/10/15/20/25 health from them. Min. Total Damage: 100/130/160/190/220 (+ 1.0 Bonus AD) Max. Total Damage: 160/208/256/304/352 (+ 1.6 Bonus AD) Cost: 60 mana Cooldown: 15 seconds **E Ability:** Equilibrium Strike **Type:** Point and Click **Range:** 350 Irelia pierces the selected enemy dealing 40/75/110/145/180 (+ 0.8 AP) magic damage, slowing them by 50% for 0.75/1/1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds & lodging 1 piece of Irelia’s weapon into them. If the enemy has a higher percentitle health than Irelia this ability will instead stun for the duration and the base damage is increased by an additional 1% damage for every 1% health higher the target has (max 50% increase). Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds **Ultimate:** Transcendent Blades **Type:** Line, Buff **Range:** 1000 For the next 5 seconds Irelia gains 20/40/60 bonus Attack Damage & can fire her parts of her weapon out in a line dealing 50/80/110 (+ 0.55 Bonus AD) (+ 0.2 AP) physical damage to all enemies hit and lodging that blade in the first enemy hit. Each time Irelia picks up a part of he weapon the duration of this ability is increased by 1 second and can be re-fired again after 0.25 seconds. Enemy champions that are hit by blades during this time heal Irelia for 20-80 health; successive enemy champion hits from firing it from this ability only will reduce the healing by 50%. This ability has a maximum possible duration of 8/10/12 seconds. Cost: 100 mana Cooldown: 110/100/90 seconds Thank you very much for reading! :) {{champion:39}}
