So... The weird part about this is that it doesnt AWLAYS happen, and the number of applications active in the background doesn't seem to have an impact either. Sometimes it happens for a couple of games, and then it's just fine for another couple of games.
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming (MS-7821)
Intel Core i5-4670K @ 3.40GHz
GIGABYTE R9 280X WindForce 3X OC
Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM
The game is installed on the main SSD (Samsung EVO 840 250GB)
My internet speed is: 109,3 Mbit/s Down, and 36,9 Mbit/s Up according to my Router.
Ussually I uncap my FPS and I have between 120 and 360 at all times, even in the messiest teamfight. While streaming the FPS drops considerably to an average of 95FPS laning in botlane (which somehow feels rather like a 20-25FPS) and once teamfights get messy it really drops to 25-30FPS.
I don't really understand why having OBS open in the background would impact the game so much.
Background Applications running:
- Zune Media Player
- 1 instance of Chrome with multiple tabs open (YouTube, Dashboards of hitbox.tv/twitch.tv, restream.io, and usually boards to scroll through in between of games)
- Follower Alert.
