How to get 1 lp at Bronze IV

Hi, I've been playing solo queue ranked for two and a bit years. Recently, I played in s6 winning 5 games but nevertheless going to Bronze V - must be from past seasons(?) I easily make it through to Bronze IV, but recently I have been unable to win a game as a Bronze IV player with 0 lp I constantly go on losing streaks on Bronze IV until I am kicked out to Bronze V where I gain a winning streak. Is the gap between Bronze V and Bronze IV like a pond to the ocean? Is there any specific roles or champions that I need to use to carry? Am I supposed to lead my team in every game I play, in Bronze? I honestly believe that how I play cannot be worst than a Silver player at the very least Please enlighten me Thanks in advance,
