Posting this for the third time because we need more replies. We currently have 37 replies and we need 150, so it would be great if you guys could spead this with your friends on League! Thank you for participating :) Dear members of the League of Legends community, I am an acquaintance of a student who is in their third year of a Psychology degree at Manchester Metropolitan University. As part of their studies they are carrying out a research project. The topic of the project is: “Gaming addiction, motivation and identity: investigating the effects of competitive play in a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game”. They would like to invite you to participate in this research which you have been selected for because it requires individuals who are the age of 18 or over, and play League of Legends to take part. This means that you will remain anonymous. You will have the right not to answer questions that you do not wish to and will have the right to withdraw from the study at any stage up to 5th February 2017, after which data analysis will have commenced, without having to provide a reason.
