The difference between constructive criticism and a suggestion

Hello Friends {{champion:32}} I'm making this thread because I see people confuse the two a lot. I also see people make the mistake of thinking "constructive criticism" can't be flame. Flame is a strong word, what i mean is more detrimental to the team and (ironically) in terms of league at least, counter constructive. Let me give a quick example: >Stop over extending and dying, you should buy more MR and group with team, you can split push top again when your tp is up and we have warded top side jungle this is constructive criticism, and this... >you should buy more MR and group with team, you can split push top again when your tp is up and we have warded top side jungle ..is a suggestion. People know when they've made a mistake, you can offer a suggestion as to how they avoid repeating their mistake without shining a light on it first. This will only make them defensive and less likely to follow your advice. I think this is just general good life advice. Though, I should add, constructive criticism is good and necessary for people who cant see their mistakes, but as far league is concerned, if your top laner doesnt know why over extending top, with no vision of enemy, no wards on his flanks, and tp on cooldown.... Well you dont have time to write a long boards post explaining it to him so best not waste your breath Good luck and have fun! {{sticker:slayer-jinx-catface}}
