Can I get chat banned from doing exactly nothing?

From my perspective in one lobby I was just impressed by someone's pick (Irelia support) so I sad "lol", then they told I'm flaming and I'm ||||||||||, and here comes the question if I can get ban when I get non-sense ban from these people if they report me for 'this'? I understand when someone is gonna tell some things like "I'll troll if you pick it", but just saying "lol" is now reasonable? {{item:3151}} Somes should get away from lobby chat...
