I wouldn't say no to a feature like that, as a support main, I sometimes find myself with way more gold than I can handle(Usually after a teamfight, when you recall with your adc and he just needs some gold for an item..) Also it would be useful for laning phase, you can recall and get the ADC an item without the need of it to recall or so..

: This have been known for years. Luckily the new League client is currently in alpha stage. Instead of Adobe AIR it seems to be built on Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF), meaning it will be built on web technology and the same technology that drives Chrome, Spotify, Battle.net, the new Origin Beta client, Uplay, GOG Galaxy and a whole other bunch of "modern" applications and launchers. Though that's in the future, as the League alpha client currently seems more CPU intense than the old client. My guess is that they simply haven't enabled GPU acceleration in CEF yet.
Chromium engine has the some sort of GPU acceleration, usually by default it's not enabled. Let's wait, hope and see if they enable it.. Which I wish they do.

A third time now: CPU rendering is completly normal and not a problem for any kind of CPU from the last 20 years. It even was until 10 years ago the regular thing, because GPUs usually only supported the CPU. Nowadays it's the other way. The CPU only starts to make draw calls, if it can't manage that itself or is told to do so. Oh and don't let us forget, that the Client runs on Adobe Air. Which has no GPU support.

: It makes no difference if you run a threat on 1 core or on 8 cores. Beside I doubt that you own a 1000€ Octacore, you own max a FX8350 which has modules aka. 8 cores with 4 infrastructures. Which doesn't make him a Octacore. The last CPUs with 3 cores were released in 2008. Speaking here from "powerful" is way beyond the reality. And Ghz alone are no indicator for performance. That is why 6Ghz FX8350 lose against simple 4Ghz Pentium Anniversaries or upper class i3 in 95% of the cases. The client rendering doesn't take any relevant performance from a modern CPU. And 32% workload for one threat is a completly normal workload. Windows aims usually for 100% to reserve real time. Because that is not a fullscreen focus application, Windows manages the threat and balances. You've no performance loss through that and the OS manages the threats optimal. And for the future, I recommend you to screenshot the units with the numbers. Because at the moment there are just numbers you can't compare. Beside that, if you really have performance problems with the client, I recommend you to modernize your 10 year old PC.
Hey there, Good evening ;) I actually run it on an i7-5960X. Besides I went ahead and gave it a shot on a xeon server running a E5-2690(server with dedicated GPU). Using the word "Powerful triocore" I was referring to the game requirements and the build I use for random stuff nowadays(I don't want to use my actual rig when it's building lighting or rendering textures). Maybe you should take a look at [this](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752654-Minimum-and-Recommended-System-Requirements#section-windows) The game is supposed to run on a potato. Not a xeon, an octocore, not even an FX-8350 as you mentioned above! Take a note that I am not some sort of newb user saying "HLAP MY LIG LEGENS NO WORK. IT 100% CPU 2GB RAM GTX 730 OP PC FIX YOU GAME". We both know that windows management / hardware is not the actual issue in this case but rendering with CPU is. If not, I might have to explain it to you with a [simple video presentation](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P28LKWTzrI) Graphics/Effects rendering is NOT supposed to be done with CPU as we have GPUs to do that for us. My 2 cents.

I had almost something like that going on, but with an ancient GPU, try rolling back your drivers one version- or two, see if anything changes. I used to get FPS drops from 140 to 7 all the time, then it was never bellow 60, with vsync open. My GPU was GeForce 9500GT

: i agree with this. when i log into the client its barely 400mb from my memory, but soon as i hit a queue its just jumps straight to 1gb and kills pretty much everything else im running on my computer. perhaps an option to disable "eye candy" for the client as well?

How about you guys start rendering your "effects"/"animations" with GPU rather than CPU? It's a total performance hog for a dualcore. Even for my powerful triocore it's adding quite a useless load on the processor and leaves the GPU idling.

: I can explain it to you since you was playing last season and alrdy had a set mmr your mmr can only change so much my guess is since you was bronze 3 your mmr have been around 1000 and your duo que partner on a fresh 30 starts with 1250mmr so him having a higher mmr when you duo que all games hes mmr gonna be higher then yours from the start and place him higher then you gonna be placed

: The win/loss of the placement games have very little, if anything to do at all with your ranked placement. So the fact that both of you are 6-4 means nothing. It judges a lot of other factors, like your ranked position in previous seasons and more.
