: Can someone explain this to me haven't played in a long time
This is not your fault, this is just early Season 10 matchmaking , I had an average 50% winrate Diamond 1 last season , now after placements , I am at Plat 1 sitting with 33% Winrate( probably server's lowest) , and I am not inting or griefing or being toxic. You just have to deal with it or probably wait like a month. It sucks but it is what it is.
: Being a silver noob I have seen far worse win rates xD For your case imo it is just because of the "season start" you're having such a low win rate. With Matchmaking forcing everyone to grind games, with MMR reset you're just being forced into grinding to get back to your past season rank and other than sitting through the first few days or even 2-3 weeks I don't think there is an option for this. Don't get frustrated, gl hf {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}} p.s: how is support role with new changes? is it back to what it was before item changes or still feel weaker?
It is alright I guess, although gold income drops drastically once you have completed your Support item :/
: This is literally naming & shaming, which the board rules forbid.

: I agree that in theory it's good and would help a lot of people, but in practice I don't think it's easily possible to do. Like if you say a blacklisted word and someone reports you, you'll get punished. The system can't warn you while you're typing, and after you sent the message it's already too late. It would result in people complaining about unjustified bans because they didn't get a warning, while other people who were toxic without blacklisted words got a warning. So it would be inconsistent and people would probably complain about it. Other inconsistency must be that a player's behaviour is only investigated if he got reported by someone. This way if you get a warning and keep flaming, but nobody reports you, then it would feel like a fake warning, because nothing happened even though you continued flaming after the warning. So the idea itself is good, but I can't imagine how they would implement it without getting a lot more complaints about the system being bad.
I see where you are headed. The key would be to at least stop the consistent spamming in game, rather then instantly punishing, but then again, its just an idea. Thanks for the thought :)
: In my experience, most players who are toxic in the way you describe are fully aware they are being toxic, and are just too angry to care about what they say. Indeed, from what I've seen from certain forum threads, some toxic players believe they have a right to flame and insult their teammates who "ruin their matches for them" by "inting", "trolling" or just playing badly. A pop-up from the system isn't going to magically make these players see the error of their ways, and in fact is likely to make them even more angry if you tell them to calm down. It's a nice idea but I don't think it would work in practice.
You may be right, but a lot of these cases happen due to sudden outbursts. They are under the effect, and is maybe in fact a one time thing for them. (Example for this is the constant flooding of the "Why was I banned" type of thread category, or the "I did not mean to, why did they ban me")

: Well, he does have the win ratio to back it up. Probably boosted or a sold account. (Or maybe he just got really serious about league all of a sudden, it's not impossible.)
Yea, please bare in mind, I am not flamming him or trying to bring him down, its just getting very frustrating.

: Two of the worst cases from the new ranked system ive seen
This season is ridiculous, unless you wait it out, there is absolutely no reason to grind(unless you have nothing else to play). People usually say this all the time, but this season is by far the worst. Players are completely out of their league atm, all time plats, playing in high diamond, %%%%%ing that they can't win games.ridiculous. I really am interested as to why they made these changes in the first place.

What purpose do they serve? Leagues and Divisions are just a representation of your MMR. They are like a coat of paint and that's one of their purposes. The other purpose is to give you a sense of progression. You may have Diamond MMR while in Platinum 4 rank. Your LP gains/losses will reflect that, because you'll feel yourself progressing a lot faster than someone with Platinum 4 MMR in Platinum 4. It also works the other way around. You may have Platinum 4 MMR and be at Diamond 4 rank. The difference here is it may stop you from losing Diamond rank\* even though your skill level isn't there. ######\*In other words, you won't lose X rank unless your MMR drops too much. I don't know how low you can go compared to your rank's average MMR. *** > [{quoted}](name=Wandering Mist,realm=EUW,application-id=39gqIYVI,discussion-id=maVVlALu,comment-id=,timestamp=2019-03-03T16:03:31.460+0000) > > Without seeing your true MMR it's almost impossible to see if the matchmaking is working as intended. We actually can. We may not be able to see the number itself, but we can infer it: - Look at the past 20 games. - Per game, take the average rank on both teams, excluding yourself. Let's call them "X" and "Y". If there's an "Unranked", you can either exclude it or assume Silver 4. - Per game, take the average rank of the match, using the two numbers from the point above - X and Y. Let's call this new number Z. - Take the average rank of the past 20 games, using the numbers from the point above - "Z1", "Z2", ... , "Z20". Let's call that number "R". The only thing constant in 20 consecutive games is yourself, so that's how you can infer your hidden rating. "R" will be, approximately, the same as **your** MMR respective rank.
ughhh, I can already tell you majored in maths {{sticker:slayer-jinx-unamused}}

: It feels really shitty to leash for your jungler only to never receive any help. You are forced to play defensive the first levels if the enemy top laner can push and imo top lane is often very snowbally and easy to snowball too. If said jungler really does no ganks until min 15 then it actually is really bad, but I think for a Lee in diamond it's very unlikely. Now I am not saying that it's impossible to handle this kind of situation, but I can assure you that many top laners will tilt super hard from it. I am 99% sure that this Trundle player is a hashinshin viewer because this kind of behaviour matches exactly.
It is not about not ganking. It is about basically inting on you from the very first minute, and I wouldn't post it if it was the first time i encountered it... It is just sad.

: Let´s talk Diamond 5
Got to Dia 5 myself during the past week(weeks?). Right now I am stuck at Dia 4. Feels like people do not want to try anymore after they hit Dia. It kinda makes them feel that they hit the top or what not. My advice is that you gotta grind games with a friend/premade. No other way, reduces your chances of getting inting/easily tilted peeps. Good luck mate.

You are living up to your name mate :D.
: Honor locked
It means you can not progress on your Honor level, hence the meaning "locked". Were you banned or chat restricted in the past?
