: Well. Last season I finished in Gold III. My goal would be to reach plat as a jungler. I love jungling and I rised to gold with my support skills so it had not that big of an influence on my rating.
It is possible to get platinum as jungler. I was platinum last season, and I'm 60lp away from plat promo now (placed in silver 4 after reset, rito pls). But you must be greedy af, and to play as solo carry. Take strong early junglers, take every kill, push lanes, tax lanes. Get fed and carry your team to victory. You are not sure that If you let kills, your team can carry that, maybe they can throw, and in gold that happends a lot. So go out there, be greedy, counter jungle, take every piece of gold you can find on map.

Hey man, platinum border here, I have couple things for you to do. First one is main a cahmpion, get really good with that champion. I'm Akali main, I love her playstyle and I have 480k mastery score, I play her every single game. When I log in on my acc, first I do is play one Akali custom game, after that I go ranked, before I log out I play another custom Akali game. So I have almost half milion mastery with champion, and I still practice her in customs. Second one is learn about trading in lane, and how to control waves in your favor. If teammates are toxic, don't deal with them, just mute them, as soon they start to flame hit mute. Don't watch how others playing, focus on yourself, only that way you can be better. Try not to die in lane, better to burn flash and play safe for 5 mins, then save flash, die and miss one whole wave. You miss gold and xp, which set you behind in levels. Always watch minimap and keep track of their jungler, ward a lot. And go for trade and aggressive play only if you can see all of them on map. If someone missing from map, and you don't have wards play defensive. Don't go in dumb teamfights, like 3v5, 2v4. If you can't save someone, run away. 300 gold for their team is better than 600 gold and tower. Never give shutdown.

Never saw that tank Vayne, few games I saw tank Zed, but tank Akali really works. Why ? She have heals and bonus damage every 4 seconds on pasive, can't be bursted down, really hard to kill, and she can kill your adc in like 3-4 seconds.

: you need to try out titanic hydra on her i swear. You will get so many heals from gunblade + hydra you never seen at all.
If you look at games I posted, you can see Titanic. It's all situational on tank Akali, but those two builds up there is the most common I use. But yes, heals are really good.

I have a post like this one, and after some time now, I don't think she is nerfed that much. I'm an Akali main too (400+k mastery score), and after some games and build tests on PBE, I can say she is fine. Only thing is, no more brainless 1v5 thanks to spellvamp, combo is a little different, but at the end of the day, she still doing her job pretty well, killing squishy targets. On live servers she can two shot a tank, and be on full HP thanks to spellvamp, it's good thing that's removed, so unhealthy for game. And delayed burst is ok, 'cuz people need some time to react. She can kill almost fast as Rengar, with thunderlord. After all, there is no change to playstyle, she is still an assassin who can jump around and kill people, but only squishy targets now. And I like the changes, now you can see difference between good and bad Akali, and there is now some skill involved to output most damage in one combo.

A little update for all of you: Akali [ricklessabandon with 10/20 changes & Full changelist as of 10/20 Update.] Twin Disciplines (P): Cooldown lowered to 8-4 from 8-5 AP ratio (damage) increased to 50% from 45% Shadow Dance (R): Now includes charges when first learned CDR once again affects recast time. Not that much, but better something. I'm really glad to see that CDR will affects reacst time, I have new build for Akali, and this will help it a lot. I will make a new post tomorrow with a new build and a couple of combos for max burst damage. I need to test some things on the pbe, and after that will make a post.
: Is urgot bad?
If you play him on top, it can be problem. Urgot is good champion, but people are used to have tank on top, to soak up damage, and peel for carries. If u pick Urgot, peel and engage are getting a little messed up, because he need someone to engage a fight, and he also need peel. And if jungler is not tank who can peel and/or engage, all work need to be done by support, if he make a mistake, teamfight of your composition start to falling apart.

Well there is no need for energy regen, I said that as example, they all have built in energy regen. But somehing different to work with would be nice, 8 items every single game is just booring.

: Her E damage was drastically increased, so i wouldn't say they nerfed it. The ult nerf was probably to force more power out of her currently extremely un-interesting ult. The passive nerf wasn't meant as a nerf probably. And most importantly: _**Pinks no longer reveal her**_ This was the only thing that actually kept her balanced. Giving her an entirely new ability is a massive buff. You may not notice any difference if your opponents had the tendency not to buy pinks, but in that case you were practically speaking playing an overpowered character.
As I can say, from couple pbe games, her E feels the same as old one. Ult is nerfed so much, now is just utility tool. From 800+ dmg to barley 300 dmg. And if u ask any Akali main out there, they will tell you that pasive change is a huge nerf. Beacuse of this: Let's say her old pasive was 300 magic dmg each auto, a new is let's say 600 dmg but with second auto and a cooldown. So with old pasive you could throw Q, wait cd, R-aa-Q-aa, and you deal pasive dmg almost instantly, and now with that combo, you deal same amonut of pasive dmg, but that is no longer a burst dmg, because need more time.
: The 2 auto deals more dam than 4 (or more) from the old one so I don't see any reduction. Also there is an e in that combo :P

: 1. she doesn't get 1 auto per sec with her scaling unless u buy attack speed 2. ur an assassin, you don't want to be in a fight that long. u now don't have to linger in a fight and can just combo 3. this removes tank akali by making it 2 hit and not constant putting her back in her assassin place personally I like the changes but I think the r was a harsh nerf
U don't auto as much with her I agree, but look at this way. Her all in combo is Q, wait for cd, R-AA-Q-AA, look how much damage and burst she lose with old pasive removed.

That's not true, her old pasive is damage on every auto, here is one auto every 5 seconds. In 5 seconds u can auto 5 times, which means more dmg old pasive.

I just checked, her R damage with full build is down from 750+ to a 350 damage.

Yes, I agree on W change, it's good. But her overall damage is way lower. AP ratio on R is not that important as bonus magic damage on her pasive. On live servers bonus damage is on each auto attack, on rework it's on 1 auto attack every 5 seconds on level 18. And that pasive damage on full build is like 400 magic damage every auto attack, so very big nerf.
