In my experience, in a lost match, nobody on the losing team honors anyone. I usually honor the person who stayed calm and at least tried to the very end...if there was such a person to begin with.

: Cursing in own language (not EN)
I still don't understand what the point of flaming someone in your native tongue is. If they can't understand it (or you think they can't, on EUNE it's often the case we do because Slavic insults tend to be very similar), why bother typing it at all?
: Lets talk about the style of Kayn - it's weird
I wouldn't call myself a weeb and I see no problem with him. And I'm also glad we finally got another good-looking male champion.

: I HATE Premades.
Premades who are like this are horrible, yeah. But not all of of act like this, trust me. When my friend and I don't get our preferred roles, we will just politely ask if we can play them and if the answer is no, we will bite the bullet and play whatever we were assigned. I might be a much better support than I am a midlaner but I will try my best to win or at least not feed. That being said, I recently encountered a premade bot who instalocked Ashe and Thresh even though they were supposed to top/jungle, fed like crazy all game and then when the team refused to surrender sold their items and started trolling...
: Would you smash?
Where's Vi? On second thought, Illaoi's tentacles sound like fun.

Play ranked and join us in draining normal queues until we all live in harmony and limit trolls to b5 I don't play Ranked anymore. I probably never will again. It was nothing but an endless fest of blaming and flaming, trolls and feeders being possibly even more common than in my Normal games where everyone takes the game too seriously. I may hate myself but not enough to be a support main in Gold, thank you very much.
Krymons (EUNE)
: "Why no help?" *Solution*
Depends on the situation. If my Nunu jungle gets himself killed trying to steal the enemy Red, that's on him, he was not entitled to help when the laners are busy, especially if he didn't even ping or otherwise state his intentions. Yet those, and diving into 1v3 engages, are the situations I mostly see people getting salty and whining about "no help".
: Why are low elo players so %%%%%%ed?!?
Well umm...thanks? I don't play Ranked anymore because it was too stressful + being a support main in Gold is a thing only someone who hates themselves will do for any prolonged period of time because you will be blamed for everything ._ It's great to know I'm being looked down upon by the high and mighty higher elo players, really._ Makes me feel amazing. I mean, yes, there are a lot of jerks in low elo games. But don't tell me you don't see jerks in Platinum, either. The only difference between those and the lower elo ones is a raging case of Dunning-Kruger and bad attitude. I wonder if GM players look down upon you and judge you like you judge us, or if they're _humble enough not to be elitist dillweeds_.

: Nerf Kayn !
I have yet to play against one. The one I've seen so far (Unranked Draft) that wasn't banned did horribly bad. He got exectued twice by jungle camps and just wasn't any help at all because our team was behind and Kayn needs to be ahead to be actually dangerous.
HDinis09 (EUW)
: Soulhunter Kayn?
Good thing different people have different preferences, otherwise everyone would just use 1 look for every champion and there would be no skins! I actually like the skin and I happen to dislike Project/Dark Star skins that seem to otherwise be really popular.
: Kayne
What's a Kayne? Is it some sort of terrifying crossbreed of Kayn and Vayne? Also, playing Ranked when a new champ has just been released is generally a bad idea. People don't know any better and try to learn the new champ's mechanics in ranked games.

Normals are far more toxic than ranked is. For me, Draft is usually fine. Blind, also affectionatelly known among my friends as Yasuo Simulator, is usually the toxic mode. Or it used to be a few months ago. Ranked, for me, was always a horrible experience (support main in Gold) of flaming, blaming and in general too much stress to be worth playing.

Not sure how big his influence is but it's entirely possible.

: Riot, dear Riot... are you f@##@ nuts? BLIND PICK IS THE WORST GAME MODE AND YOU REMOVE THE BEST MODE FOR TRAINING BEFORE RANKEDS? ARE YOU SERIOUS? WHY EUW IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EUNE? WHY EUW GOT IT AND EUNE DON'T? If you want to loose more player base then go on. I'll go play blizzard's moba just because blizzard doesnt do retarded decisions.
Oh Blizz does make a ton of retarded decisions (especially regarding hero balance), but they are much faster in fixing their mistakes and they actually listen to the playerbase's opinions at least sometimes. If you do decide to play HoTS, feel free to contact me here on the forums and we can exchange battletags. I've been playing it much more than League lately anyways and enjoying it much more, too. Even the mode closest to Blind they have is much better executed than the bs we have here.
Oglaf (EUNE)
: Why not just remove Blind instead? Keep Draft. Draft is good. Blind is bad. Seriously, Blind is the worst type of game mode in the game. There's no Bans, no Role Selection no nothing. All there is are people arguing over Champs/positions, games being lost because some whiny brat didn't get his way and decided to feed/troll the game. Draft mode solved most of these issues, in every single way besides queue time was it a straight improvement over Blind. it is like keeping your bow and arrows while throwing away the hunting rifle! It is clearly superior!
Blind is there for new players who don't have enough champions for Draft, I think. But yeah, it's a terrible place. It's also what made me stop trying when I made a new account on EUW that one time a few months ago. It forced me to play Blind, of course, and it was horrendous. Instalocks and flaming all day.
Husker (EUW)
: Normal Draft & Ranked in 2017
Well, guess the preseason will be the end of me playing then. Sad, really, after 2 years. I don't want to tryhard in Ranked. I play Normals to enjoy a game with my friends, no matter the division, with the counterpicking and all that fun that goes into Draft mode. Blind is a hellish place full of instalockers and toxicity. I refuse to play it. I was one of those people who didn't mind waiting 10 minutes for a Teambuilder game to pop up, if it meant I got to play with a team of nice people and play my desired role (I'm a support main though so I guess that wouldn't be the problem in Blind). It's not that I don't get why the decision was made. I just think the reason is extremely stupid. This way, **you won't divide up the playerbase, you will just lose a part of it**.
: What is your opinion on tilting a tilted person even more like this?:
I don't really see the point of doing it. The person will only perform even worse, so why would you want to tilt them even more? That being said, I have a no bullshit policy and the moment I see someone spamming chat with salty comments/smiley faces and stuff like that, I mute them immediatelly. Makes the game much more enjoyable.
: ELO hell is actually real in silver
I got placed in Silver and burned through it in 2 days of not even playing much. But yeah, Soraka is not the best chance. Her heals are nice and all, but she can't really peel well enough. My go-to ranked pick has been Nami - heal, slow, stun and knockup + movement speed boosts and on the tankier side of mage supports. You can switch up your playstyle to what your teamcomp needs, which makes her a better pick than a kind of niche Soraka.
: I remember playing with a friend, he was playing (*cough* I mean "wanted to play") Veigar Supp. Couldn't connect because when he went out of the loading screen, he immediately got a bug splat. Remake didn't kick in although he couldn't connect until he repaired his client and returned **at minute 25**. How do you explain this?
The one time /remake didn't work for me was also when the person got a bugsplat. Probably some kind of issue with those.
: Playing Non-Support champions in the Support Role (normals only)
As others have said, I am all for off-meta support picks, but they have to actually work as a support - {{champion:78}} (this is actually good against a Kalista), {{champion:32}}, those champs. But Yasuo just does not work as a support. His CC is unreliable at best and on a long CD, he is useless without items. Justifying that with "it is just a normal game" is stupid. Most people play Normals to practice, not screw around with nonsensical picks.
: Playing a non supp in that role is bants. My friend did it as Velkoz a few times and all i heard was "LEGENDARY" and "HAH VELKOZ SUPP IS THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD" and then this "PENTAKILL" and then myself crying after going 0/7 with tristana mid even though i tried. But yea its fun {{champion:161}} =WINNER {{champion:18}} = R.I.P
Vel is known to make a decent support though, unlike Yasuo.
Orthian (EUW)
: What is the Most Toxic Gameplay Element in LoL?
**Stealth**. I feel like it is incredibly annoyingly handled in this game. I have no problem with Rengar (you know when you are in range of him at least) and Eve (again, you see her when she gets too close). But I absolutely hate the stealth on Twitch and Shaco. This is among the many reasons I have been playing less League and more HoTS lately, I feel like they tackled stealth in a much better, fairer way, that is easier to counterplay.
Qlutcha (EUW)
: First time champs in ranked ..
Lvl 4 is too much, this is not HoTS where you can get lvl 5 in just a couple games (but their lvl 5 requirement for Ranked is an excellent idea). But I think some kind of requirement would be a nice touch.
: When A Support Main Has To Play Marksman
Which is why my secondary role is mid :D I always pick one of the support like utility midlaners like Lux, Karma, Morg, Zyra, that stuff. I don't do amazing, but it's good enough and at least I don't feed.
: Every champ is broken if you play him correctly(ofc teemo is always broken). The thing abaout yasuo is that he is really weak against cc. So the best way to counter him are tanks or melee champs that have cc (for example riven or jax. If you're playing a mage against him in midlane the best thing is to look for every oportunity to harras him or make him use his windwall and then he doesn't have it for about 15-20 secs and your projectiles are very strong against him. PLAY SAFE AND LOOK FOR OPORTUNITIES.

PLAY SAFE AND LOOK FOR OPORTUNITIES. Thing is, a lot of CC champions have CC that is a skillshot. And Yasuo's windwall negates that. It's the same reason a decent Yi is so incredibly aggravating. Of course they're easy to blow up if you can lock them down. But locking them down is pretty damn difficult if they're any good.

> There is no shame in loosing or admitting defeat I wouldn't do that. I know it's not meant to, but it sounds like you're being a dick to the enemy team and telling them they will lose. Also, it has a spelling error in it, so I'd expect a few answers along the lines of "lose = not win, loose = your mom". I've been saying "glhf" in /all for over year now and except for the occasional person who's super tilted and feels the need to bitch at me, I haven't had any negative responses.
Nr 903 (EUNE)
: team builder was only reasonable normals mode for leveling up accounts, literally blind pick wants to make you uninstall and chop the dickheads' heads off.
Indeed, blind is awful. I wish draft were available from the start to new players. A lot of my friends quit before getting to lvl 30 because their experience in blind pick was horrible.
: Believe me, every jerk wants a win, they can be polite just to get the win. In normals there is no such an incentive :)
Maybe it's because I've been playing pretty much only Normals for over a year with the occasional couple of ranked here and there, but my teams in Normals are usually fine. Nice people who play well. Sure, I get the occasional flamer, but that's nothing unexpected. I get some people who are learning new champs, but that's fine, everyone had to learn sometime.
: Soon the {{item:2043}} won't provide anything anymore
True, but let's cross that river when we get to it. It works for now, and that's what's important.
: At least in ranked people in general want to win. (even if they flame) In normals that's not a big deal (win or lose) So even from this perspective, ranked games are more enjoyable. Victories in ranked balance it out with flaming, sort of... so you get more positive than negative experience :)
Interesting, we have different opinions about losing/winning then. I find it much more enjoyable if my team is nice people but ends up losing, then when it's all flaming and blaming and we somehow manage to win. Flame in general leaves me with a bitter aftertaste and I will stop playing even though on a winning streak, just to get away from the jerkfaces that are so abundant. It's basically why I don't even play Ranked anymore.

: IE + Statik shiv Vayne - Riot pls
{{champion:37}} with {{summoner:3}}, thunderlord's and a build along these lines has been working for me: {{item:2049}} {{item:3092}} {{item:3158}} {{item:3100}} {{item:3116}}. Abuse the absolute hell out of her in lane. Keep her half dead, don't let her farm. Kill her if you can but if not, just zone her. Keep a {{item:2043}} in your inventory from the moment she hits lvl 6 onward. Lategame, if she doesn't build MR, you can delete her by yourself easily. Even if not, you should at least be able to be a major inconvenience to her.
: Normals are worse than games with bots. Full of flame, hatred and misplays. There is absolutely no point in playing normal, if you wish to play a nice game. By "nice", I don't necessarily mean a "win". Nice for me is: AT LEAST 2 ppl in your team DO NOT: - abuse each other - building AP vayne (or similar to this action) - flame after every small mistake - miss 85% of skillshots and then blame the jungler on the other side of the map So, if you ask me, would I recommend playing normal games on summoner's rift? HELL NO, never Only ranked :)
My experience is exactly the opposite, minus people playing weird builds, I rarely see that at all. Blind pick normals? Yeah, those are awful. But draft has been very fun and enjoyable for me, while ranked is much more toxic. Not to mention I'm Gold III and I swear I had better players on my team in Silver II.
: Stop this Miss Fortune Support bullshit!
I've seen a couple of them so far, luckily, being a support main, not on my own team. It doesn't work. The only way it potentially might is in a premade with lots of communication and even then it's not the greatest idea. People always think they can do what the pros did at tournaments, sadly.
: adc is unplayable in normal games. why does riot not care to fix it?
If you flip the script though, playing support in Normals is a chore too sometimes. I have had more stupid ADCs than I can count. Sure, I don't mind people who are learning the role, champion, the game, whatever. That's fine by me. We all had to start somewhere. But some keep making the same exact mistake all over and refuse to learn. Also, draft is fine. Blind pick is a mode I've been avoiding like the plague since I was able to play draft, it's horrible. That all said, if you have an EUNE account, feel free to add me. I've been maining support for over a year and while I'm no god, I do consider myself decent enough.
: Definitely, and it frustrated me even more with the juggernaut update, which allowed off-tanks to deal so much damage. I understand that riot want to make the game a good esport, which is fun to watch, but I wish that they'd consider us too.
I've just been playing a lot of HoTS this League season. I still enjoy League a lot, but I only play Normals now. In HoTS I feel like the punishment for every tiny mistake isn't nearly as harsh as in League. I actually look about a 3 month break from LoL and came back a week-ish ago, only to get completely dominated by a Syndra three games in a row. I wasn't mid, mind you, I was playing support, as per usual. I remember her having a lot of damage, but the deletes were insane, without her needing to ult even though I was building MR.

Actually, I'll be perfectly fine with not being flamed for other people's fuckups. If the ADC decides to go 1v5, I sure as hell ain't following them into that mess. I will ping retreat and if that doesn't work, they're not worth my time and effort.
: sup is part of team too dont abuse them and blame them for everything
A word of advice from a long time support main: **don't point out people's mistakes**. Ever. It never, and I repeat, never, leads to anything but irritating and discouraging people. I think the support shouldn't only help the team with items and abilities, but also with some emotional support. Someone gets first blood? Say "gj" or "nice" or something. Your ADC follows up on your engage and gets a nice double? Praise that, too. If someone fucks up, just say "np, it happens". Because it does happen. **Everyone makes mistakes. And giving them hell for it will only make them play worse.** I never flame the support when I play other roles, but sometimes I feel a strong need to facepalm the whole game because some support players are a disgrace to the role. No wards, no help and sometimes flame to top it off, too. We have all had that Janna who just sat in a bush and did virtually nothing throughout the laning phase. And while I'm not saying those deserve flame, it's easy to see why people would get angry with them. That being said, it's getting better. I haven't been flamed as support for a very long time. Maybe I'm just that good, but let's face it, that's not the case. People have learned to accept supports as part of their team, things are much better than about a year ago.

: Will graphics ever be upgraded from simplistic to detailed?
I actually like the simpler graphics. I think if they went detailed like HoTS for example, the game would lose its typical feel. Not to mention, League has a lot of players on lots of machines and if you upgraded the graphics like that, a lot of people wouldn't be able to run it anymore. Not everyone can afford a super computer.

: When the irony is strong
ADC main hates support players. Oh boy *facepalms*. Anyway, let me tell you a little story of my own, if you're interested, that is. Had a game ages ago, was playing Janna, my lane partner was an absolutely obnoxious Vayne who kept bitching about everything I did, no matter if it was a mistake or not. I was very tempted to just leave and go help other lanes, but I stayed. Miraculously, we killed the enemy Lucian, Vayne was really low and for some reason she decided she wanted to kill the enemy Thresh, too. And, of course, he hooked her right into their tower. I knew she would die. I just hit lvl 6 and I said screw it, this Vayne may be a jerk, but I can't let her die like this. I flashed under the tower and ulted. Vayne survived with around 10 HP. There was a long moment of silence. I was very much expecting something like "wtf why did you waste flash you idiot", Instead I got a "wow, thanks Janna". Vayne was silent for the rest of the match, save for calling ss and objectives and all that jazz. After the match, in the post game lobby, right before Vayne left, she said "I'm sorry Janna, you played well, honored". A lot of the time, people are just tilted in Ranked. They say stuff they don't mean. But when you show that you are above all the flame, that you will do your job and pull off something that will save the player even though they don't deserve it for treating you like garbage, sometimes it makes them stop. It makes them think and realize they've been acting like a 3 year old. League is a team game, it's based on cooperation and mutual respect. The botlane especially. It's always a great morale boost when you know you can rely on your lane partner, whatever happens. That you have someone looking out for you. It makes even they hardiest, angriest people of Ranked feel better. A little kindness goes a long way.
Jam9ik (EUW)
: there's no difference between a plat player and silver player lmao. diamond or go home
There is, but it's not a huge difference. I'm a support main and I've had ADCs as mechanically capable in both elos, it's just that the plats usually have more game knowledge about objectives and stuff, but it's nothing spectacular.
True Sight (EUNE)
: This is why I hate low elo
Trust me, more than half these smurfs are not smurfs. Just look at how they perform in game. They just try to seem all superior and stuff, but they're actually just as Silver as everyone else on your team. In Gold, they claim their main is Diamond, then proceed to not place a single ward and die repeatedly because they splitpush without vision.
: As if that would change anything that players listen to you. I never give advice ingame waste off time and probably ppl get tilted and you get reported. Players in lol, when playing, have literly no interest in advices. I had some funny interaction with players who pick champs or start with best item builds. Second if they buy for example wrong starting items and run out off the base what sense does it make to suggest any other build. A good example is telling your Support to ward or your team to ward or to ping on maps. Ppl who overall don't care will never learn and will never accept what you telll them.
My experience is very different. A lot of people actually do listen to suggestions, as long as you are nice about it. And if they report me for a friendly suggestion...not like that will do any harm to me. Sure, some people won't listen, but trying never hurt anybody.
XmarX2 (EUW)
: Its better idea to put some Diamond players into game with Bronze players like 2 Diamond and 3 Bronze vs 2 diamond and 3 bronze... Its more fair.
Yeah but then you are in the danger of them just getting carried without learning a thing. Unless you get the Diamond people to give them advice, which will in turn be seen as flame by oversensitive people. The idea is good, but it just wouldn't work with human beings.
Critasaur (EUW)
: True enough. My point is Voli isn't such a terrifying pick, you can see him coming and is rly predictable.Unless u face him 1v1 which ure not supposed to do he rly is a manageable threat.
_**Everyone**_ is easy to deal with when you see them coming (unless they are like 15/0, then they may be a problem). Even something as annoying to deal with as Rengar can just be Sona/Nami/Janna ulted mid-jump if your reflexes are fast enough. Nocturne can be exhausted while flying at you. Even though a lot of the time it just means you have enough time to run away.
