Thats true as well :P

ANYONE, feel free to friend me and look at the IP gain on my match history. > > One was 270 ish. Within the last 20 matches there were 4-5 games with over 200. And these have been some of the worst matches I've played. I'm sitting at 13L and 7W Sometimes there are events, where your IP gain gets higher the more poeple you have in your group.
Thats what I though but he said he wins it on regular basis and there are no such events on regular basis. But we managed to figure out it was just 1st win of the day :) due to 22 hour cd he managed to win it twice in a day so he assumed it was a ghost boost :) Good suggestion though
: I dont play the game to gonna get them all. I play the game to earn my experience and rank up. With the focus on winning the games instead of my IP, the IP are gathering up pretty fast. Okay, Ive got any champs I want or need, like just 30 are open and Im missing two runespages and a bunch of runes, but comes time comes IP. Im fine with it.
Ye but I started the game 5 months ago and now Im D5 and I cant progress unless I get a slightly bigger champ pool and some rune pages :/ atm i got 16 champs and 2 rune pages and its starting to get tough on me.

: Honestly, they will rarely be watching you when you die, so if you know what you did wrong then don't take it too personally. A while ago I played against a yasuo and I died once, then top and jungle both came in to gank and he somehow got a triple kill, me being 0/2/0 against a 4/0/0 yasuo, I just couldn't do anything anymore, if I got close enough to use my E (I played viktor) he'd just dash to a minion and then to me and 2 hit me, so I stayed under my tower, got dived multiple times whenever a new minion wave came and he was litterally killing me with dash AA Q, I already gave up on farm and I just tried to clear the wave as good as I could to stall him from taking my first tower while top was winning lane and bot was going even. Once he finally got my tower all of a sudden my team started to notice this fed yasuo and blame me, first death, yea that's on me... the rest? hell no. But in the end we won though, once yasuo took my outer turret he left so I managed to get a couple of items, yasuo was a typical silver yasuo player, "Am I fed? yes, 1v6!" so he died a couple of times and because he was taking all the kills from his teammates they were all behind while our team was pretty balanced out except for our jungler who was behind. Oh wow I didn't mean to go on like that lol, sheesh that's a long story. TL;DR people don't look at what happened they just check your KDA most of the time, but you shouldn't expect them to be looking at you either, they've got their own lanes to worry about. So don't take it personally.
You had a good and proper response to your situation and myself am a Shen player so basically looking at the map and everyones health bars is kind of my job, well that and assisting my team as much as I can xD Also like I said you realized the situation you were in and did your best to stop it,what im talking about is if you were laning against a fed yasuo and you tried to 1 vs 1 him all the time, despite him growing stronger each time you do that and the gap between you getting ever larger :/ I hope you get what i mean. There is a difference to losing your lane because someone is better than you in that match and between losing it because you are doing stuff without thinking 24/7 :P
Tarolock (EUW)
: ofc ppl are ahead in champs who played the game longer than you, but they had to do the grinding too... btw you can get champs for 1700 ip, its random but if you want all champs then its a way to go, i dont see any wrong thing about ip gains
I have 16 champions :P I dont even have all of the 450s,so if I buy 1700 I can get a 450 champ xD which isnt good at all, plus I would need at least 1 or 2 more shards to unlock that champion with essence, which when going in blind is not a good thing :/
: its free to play but common riot needs to get money somehow. once they don't receive moeny from the player base.... the game will become worse and worse... so spend money. I spend like 200€ in over 6000 hours playtime. Thats totally ok and fine
I played about 5 months :P Im not yet ready to spend money xD
Xêm (EUW)
: I think they shouldn't cost even that much, maybe 205 for Marks, Seals and Glyphs and 500 for Quints
Maiziea (EUW)
: Not that I'd mind if runes got cheaper, but I disagree with only seasoned veterans can afford them. The issue is that people seem to prefer to unlock champions over getting some runes. I have a level 21 friend who has all tier 3 runes for a basic AP and AD page already, with a couple of her favorite champions but not many, just the ones she really liked after trying them in free rotation, I myself only started playing a year ago and I have 9 rune pages, with just about all the runes I wanted, there's maybe 10 more I'd want but I have everything I find important (I guess except for health/lvl seals, I'd like some of those) And I also have a friend who has played for over 2 years and played more than me, and she just keeps buying champions she's not going to play anyway, still doesn't have a finished rune page, they're full but they're a mess and not good.
Agreed there are all sorts of people, back 5 months ago when I started this game,my gf was good enough to explain the game to me in very high detail,so I saved up for all my t3 runes before reaching level 20.So I could be ready for games. But the problem is Im diamond V now and I can see how much of that little edge runes give you can be important if you can utilize it well. And with 2 rune pages Im feeling without options, but to spend money and i dont want to do that.

: Learning to get carried is just as important as learning to carry. If you fall behind in lane then its your responsibility to do everything in your power to make the game as easy to carry as possible for your team. You are going to have to play different, you are going to be the one to sacrefice himself anf you will have to do some work around the map, that your team needs you to do. Ive had games where ive fallen behind since ive gotten camped and towerdove, in these games i need to sit tight and do what my team needs me to do. Sometimes that is splitpushing, walking back and forth and clearing sidelanes, set up pushes in those sidelanes, deepward or drag attention away from my team if they can get an objective. One of the difference between a good and a great player is that the great player will not only know how to carry, but know how to get carried, that is an important skill on its own.
Exactly and someone being Diamond V should at least if not do what you said, they should realize that their current strategy isnt working and that it needs to change :P
jaycer97 (EUNE)
: Champions and runes are way too expensive. Just look at new leveling system. You can get 30 level by playing like 120-150 games. And when you get 30 level, ranked gets unlocked. But you simply can't play it, because you need much more time to get runes and those 16 min champions for ranked queue. You end up with like 6-9 champions when you reach level 30 (unless you buy only 450-1350 ones). But for new players all those cheap champions are very boring, and most fun to play champions cost like 4800+ ip. You have to play a lot of games after getting level 30, to get yourself prepared for rankeds. The fact that you get like 60ip from 30min win, or 70ip from 40-50 min defeat is just insane. Looks like we have to play this game 24/7 to get the champions we need.
Exactly :/ It needs to be changed
: It isn't based on date You can get 2 first win of the "day" if you play at 1:00 AM and 11:00 PM as the first win of the day has 22 hour cooldown after you win (though if you don't win the cooldown won't start ticking down)
SekkiShin (EUW)
: Well there is always money option (save IP for runes and buy champs for money). That is why it takes time to collect more champ. It is incentive for you to spend money. I have stopped playing ranked years ago so I never rly had problem like you do :) I play game for fun and ppl in ranked are too serious about game. I prefer normal blind picks and Noc support :) Funny thing is that I have rly good account to play ranked (many rune pages, almost all champs, etc.) and I do not feel like playing ranked while you are in opposite situation. I guess I am getting old :)
Well Im 21 xD I dunno I like playing normals to relax and with my friends to have fun :) but I have to play ranked because my gf is diamond 2 and I cant have her being better than me xD Im the man in the house,I gotta git gud :D Edit: Cant spend money on a game xD Im a student :D
Eveninn (EUW)
: I suppose this comes down to everyone having different strenghts. :s Like, some are really good at adapting to new situations or playing reactively, others are really good at playing proactively and pushing their Advantage... but might be horrible at adapting. Overall both of them can just be the same skill, but the one adapting generally will hardly get really bad Performances, while the other performes horrible without bounds once things go south. On the other Hand this might mean that they go godmode when they get ahead, while the one that Looks to adapt won't be able to put their lead to as much of a good use. ------------ I actually always assumed I was good at adapting, I lose lane a lot but almost always manage to get back and do well lategame. Yet a week ago or so I got utterly destroyed, got about 1 death every 2-3 minutes and ended the game 1/12 or something. And the worst part about it is, I absolutely can't tell why. I played as always, got more careful everytime I messed something up etc, but just kept on dying. >.< ------------ But mroe on topic again, sadly just because someone is high elo doesn't mean you can expect them to just perform good every single game. You'd think so but generally People seem to have immense dropoffs at times, whichs reasons I can't really grasp yet. :s
I know there is standard performance, but come on tell me that ulting a fed Katarina as TF when you cant even lock in a gold card(or have zonyas or any mr) is a good idea :P Thats just a lack of thinking, nothing else.
: > Should I flame them? most of league players think there is nothing worse than flame. you can go 0/20/0, you can leave every 2nd game and troll teammates who did nothing bad, but if you say a couple of bad words, they will call you a kid and report x9. so no, you shouldn't flame them. i actually do want to flame those jerks every time i see them. but i can't because i will be reported. so i just start feeling bad and abandon the game for a day or several. i also can't express my feelings on boards or reddit because everyone there is scared of flamers to a death. that's what i hate about league. btw, even the Bible says you can be angry if your wrath meets the justice. why rito forbids you to do what God allowed?
I never flame, but like I see people often listen more to someone who is shouting at them and calling them names, rather than me who asks nicely :/ It just doesnt seem fair at times.
Eveninn (EUW)
: It's simply a matter of 'it happens'. We can try to suggest them some things, we can try to help them as soon as possible, but in the end we can't tie the up and put them behind their turret. If they listen, or more likely find a way themselfs to stop the snowball, great. If not... now getting upset about it won't help anything, will it now? So best action seems to just ignore it mainly. You can still hope to catch the fed enemy out lategame, or if you have an assassin maybe you can just burst them away. But Overall (imo) it is simply not worth getting upset about what you can't change. (ofc giving it a try is worth) While it obviously does lower your chances of winning, you'll play other games and in one of those an enemy might do this, so in the bigger picture it won't even matter. ;)
Nah I dont get upset about it ingame.I try to be as positive and supportive as I can without being annoying.I save my stressing out for after the game xd Then I do a few push ups or jumping jacks to rid myself of stress and Im good to go :) I have no real problem with someone feeding, like it happens to all of us.But dont make the same mistake over and over :P I feel people should be able to learn and adapt in high elo.Because thats what this game is about.
Deadpan (EUNE)
: Its all on you, try to be better. if you think they way i told you , you will get elo. simple

I know how to switch gears. Thats exactly what happens to me too when i start falling behind, there is always that 1 tool in team who will start telling me what tp do and how to play and i start playing even worse cause i feel bad that im failing so much. Its easier for me to recover and focus if people mind their own business and let me plsy
Nah not like that,I dont ask like an all knowing douche :P I play mostly shen top so I always like to inform my team when my summs are up and when Im ready to assist them. For example : "Hey guys I got ult in 20,play a bit safer and bait them until then and as soon as the fight starts I can ult and help out." Like I offer you the information so you are aware that I got your back if something happens.
SekkiShin (EUW)
: I also play since season 1. I slacked for about a year and then played for month-two. Atm I miss only 2 champs (no RM spent on champs). I got 4 6300 champs in that time. Boxes and new shard buy thingie drew price down to 5100 per champ :) Anyway although I have 'em almost all there are around 20% of champs that I played up to 2x. You just need to be patient, get 1st wins of a day for extra IP and champs will come along :)
True slow and steady wins the race :P But I only played for 5 months, and im feeling lacking in runes in Diamond V at least 2 more rune pages so I can have 4 of them and maybe at least 3/4 champs and then Im good to go like forever :D
: I must say, playing since season1 like a normal person (average over the years would be prolly 1-2 games/day), and i only have like 75% of all the champs, although all runes and masteries+10 runepages. If you think this way, then yeah, ip farming is very slow. BUT. You're not supposed to farm to have everything. When you buy a champ, you should play that champ. And if you play a month 2hr a day, you can buy a new 6300 champ. There are also good champ for cheap prices, only a couple of days worth of playing to get em. once again, youre not supposed to have all champs, but buy a champ and consistently play him til you get good with him, only then buy a new champ and try to master it. Thats the way to rise in league, not having 100 champs that you can't play. also riot would have less profit if champs could be bought in a couple of days, which is not good for a business.
I bought several champs and Im already among the best in the world with them :P But once I master something I get pretty bored with it.I mean I started playing this game about 5 months ago and Im already Diamond 5 :P I cant go up the ladder unless I get more rune pages and runes. Also my champion pool is mega small and its hurting me as well :/
: I got 50.000 ip left, got all runes and characters. No real money involved.
Give me too :D But how many years did you play?
Doomley (EUW)
: I get your point BUT... If someone tells me to play safer after my first death... a huge amount of rage builds up in side me because they are basically calling me an idiot. Like i wouldn't know what mistake i made and i need to play safer... I can understand that after 3 deaths (never rly even happens to me). P.S. I'm not the feeding type. I know how to switch gears.
I dont mean literally play safer,if I see someone die or struggle first time around. I just say Im incoming to help.I play a lot of Shen so thats my job :P Telling my team to pull back a little so I can ult and so we got room to chase. But I get your point as well.

no u get a random champ shard which means you need blue essence for it,which again means you have to buy a few more shards to be able to unlock it :P what u said is pretty wrong
: If you have nearly all of them, then you don't just have 4-5 champions, but 60+ champions to play :P
no I mean i have almost all 450 and 1350 champs because I needed 16 champs to start ranked, but the only champs I play are Rengar,Teemo,Shen,Darius and Gp
: The problem is, that the IP system was created back in the days with like 60 champions at all.
I know and keeping the same system since 2009 shows how little you care :/
: he's bullshittying or a dumb shit getting lucky ghost boost (happened to me one game).
No needs for insults :P Lets keep it nice,he could have some ghost boosts by accident, thats quite possible
: You can believe that if you like. But no. I have not bought IP boosts, and I already had a first win for that day. AGAIN, ANYONE is welcome to friend me and take a look for themselves. Maybe they can sort out why it is what it is.
I really have no idea how you could get so much do you play with friends all the time?
: Then buy other champions than the 6300er. There are cahmpions for 450 or 1350 which are really strong and can carry games.
I have almost all of them and I enjoy none of them :/ also if not a champion rune pages you need as well as runes so my point stands :P
: NOPE. ANYONE, feel free to friend me and look at the IP gain on my match history. One was 270 ish. Within the last 20 matches there were 4-5 games with over 200. And these have been some of the worst matches I've played. I'm sitting at 13L and 7W
Ip boost probably :P unless the game lasts like over an hour and a half

True enough :/ I mean I really like this game played it for about 5 months and i got diamond now,but I cant play 4 champions forever :/ And I need so many more runes its just horrible
Doomley (EUW)
: you need to do the math again. If you would get 6300 ip in 31,5h if you win every game, that would mean it would take about 55 hours to get that amount of ip by ONLY losing and not with 55% win rate.
w8 you are right got carried away a bit im sleepy I will edit it now :) thanx for notifying me
Possible (EUW)
: its less then a 100. i usually get 80-90 for a win from around 30mins. :3
see :P thats because at around 10 minutes you get the playing the game ip which is around 40 ip and in next 5 minutes you earn 10 more. And after 5 more minutes you earn 10 more and so on.So best Ip farming would be if you could end the game at 10 minutes, but thats almost impossible :P
Possible (EUW)
: its not a flat amount you gain with ip farming. it scales up over the course of the game
It scales up by additive which means at 30 minutes you will get about a 100 maybe even less which would increase farming time even more :P just check it

: Level 6 and 7 are supposed to show your dedication to a champion on top of your mastery. So if you don't have enough blue essence, you need to choose your favorite champions to upgrade. Also, since upgrading doesn't even cost that much essence, it's only a real problem for people with tiny champion pools - but a part of the hextech crafting system is that it is actively encouraging you to start playing other champions, which isn't a bad thing. I like it though how Riot managed to turn their old question of "which reward should we give players for reaching level 6 and 7" into "well, just make them pay for it instead". Very creative. A++.
I hear you and I feel same on the topic
: i really hate it how an 100k mastery cait can get mastery 7 whilst the true master of a 875k cait is stuck at mastery 5, it makes no sense, sure I agree that they wanted to spice up the masterys, but to this extreme, I really dont give a damn about the new masterys anymore... RIOT have reached a new level of low when it comes to money grabbing
I somewhat feel the same way :/ Kind of money grabbing

: Assuming we are talking about the same type of ban, you will have to get in contact with the support to resolve this case. If you don't do anything to get your account back, it will simply stay banned forever.
I did contact them,it will stay banned forever because of security issues to other people :/ and while I find that a little silly oh well Im already making good progress on my new account(this one) so its no big deal
: Greetings. I'm sorry to hear about that. What you describe sounds like a preventive ban to me. If you lose access to your account, Riot sometimes temporarily bans this account until you can prove ownership. This is not a punishment or anything, it simply exists to prevent other people from unjustly accessing your account. ---- You will have to stay in contact with the Support team. Once you prove that you are the creator of the account, they can reenable the account for you. Good luck!

: We all love rewards, unlocks etc but being honorable is about being honorable and that's it. I've seen total flamers with ribbons and i have seen fantastic players ( in terms of being honorable and skilled ) who do not have them so it doesn't really mean much. One more thing, it's relatively easy to 'farm' honors.
thats why I proposed icons. It would be nice to unlock something, yet that reward shouldnt be big enough that people start trading honors and such,It should serve as motivation. Also its quite hard to farm honors. Standard honor point has a max value of 3 points. Player who normally honor very little or rarely give 3 points when they honor someone. This value drops to about 2.4 depending on how often they honor. Also for honor to be this much worth that person must not be in your friend list. Honors from friends are worth 0.8 points and they drop fast if they honor you frequently meaning if you get honored by same people again and again. This value drops to 0.2 points All honor points can drop to 0.2 if person spams honor after every game. For example they honor everyone after every game. Lastly lets take some calculation.
