: I mean, if not getting hacked because i use my brain makes me a moron sure, but at the end of the day, even IF there was 2FA on here, the idiots dumb enough to lose their login credentials in the first place aren't smart enough to not be using that password on their email which means the 2FA really isn't going to help them anyway :P
Again; you are totally not getting the point. But I guess that's because you are looking down on other people :eyeroll:
: Can't say for sure if it's about the money because i've seen lots of people who spent thousands on their accounts but still got perma banned and those who didn't spend a dime, share the same fate. I'm guessing you have to be in-between, perhaps, and not push them to the limits. Reason i'm saying this is that i personally know irl friends who flame a lot and don't spend that much but do spend from time to time and yet haven't gotten a single chat restriction nor ban. I mean when you look at RIOT'S policies, they don't really abide by them tbh, it's more like whatever they say you can't do anything about it and have to agree unless they really fcked up and you have all the proofs to shove into their face. That too, i remember asking them one time to give me 1 refund back because my sister or nephew who were kids at that time, bought a skin while my account was logged in and i was in the toilet and they denied my request as if it would change anything since i would still buy a skin but not the one those kids got. In those 9 years i play league, i spent in total i'd say about 100$ or so.
Yes, I feel it is a like a hit or miss scenario. Either you have someone who really wants to take responsibility in performing his job to the fullest, or either you have some generic answers thrown at you which makes zero sense.

: Welp i do have to say support quality has fallen alot, so a game of this a guy start sayin to me to "fu" wich is shorten for (f..ck you) so i reproted it, but to be sure i sended a ticket asking if the system can verufy those or its will be overlooked i got the most, premade response ever, he didnt even answer my questeion , he just talked nonsense that i already reprot him ingame, no need for second report, and teht they can t tell whats gona happen like the most basic asf made answer form the premade answer file
I feel as Riot has grown, support hasn't been growing with them. Either their support is not well equipped to deal with all incoming requests; or there are a few which gives Riot a bad rep due to their lack of comprehension.
: What's sad though is that they claim they know if an account is hacked or not. I was afraid my account would get banned since i was moving to another country and that if i use my account there, would there be any repercussions and sent a ticket to support and they told me that they know and so on. Chances are, they are just not willing to give you your account because of their own dumb reasons or simply laziness.
Well I only dealt with support once back in 2012, which they were helpful back then. But like you said, I feel laziness to look into the case is what it is. They haven't seen me spending any money with them for over 4 years, why would they even look at a customer who doesn't spend anymore right? Well they have had my fair share of capital when I started over 10-9 years ago. Lesson learned and time to move on from this company.

: > Agrees. While a simple look inside the IP Logs, would've verified everything I said. They are being lazy and rather have me create a new account. The IP addresses logged in to the account don't mean anything, if it were that easy to claim i was hacked i could just use a VPN and then use bots and cheat and then claim i was "hacked" because the IP address was different > They don't even care about security of people's accounts. I saw some people getting banned for third party software recently, all same story. Someone hacked and there account got banned for use of third party software. Everyone will claim they were hacked when they get caught for using 3rd party software, thing is in reality it actually doesn't matter, the EULA does very clearly state that you are responsible for both securing your account properly and for all actions taken by the account, if your account was compromised its because you screwed up somewhere > It's sad they neglect that they play a big role in ensuring people's account are safe. Fun fact, you can already secure your account correctly all by yourself :P I've had a league account since season 1, i can count on a hand with no fingers how many times my account has been hacked, and my username matches my summoner name and always has :P
Fun fact that doesn't protect you when there was a major leak with your emailadress / password information. Instead of trying to sound like you are educated, you clearly have no clue what day and age we live in. But hey atleast Riot has a good customer with you:)

: I mean, i've had a league account since season 1, my summoner name and my username are the same, and i've never had my league account compromised, 2FA only tries to handhold the people too dumb to be allowed unsupervised internet access
Instead of trying to be mister smart guy, I hope your email never gets compromised by a public leak. I wasn't aware after I started doing some research, and a LinkedIn breach had my email and password which matches exactly. 1 + 1 = 2 but hey you are mister smart guy right, I hope your accounts never get leaked online after a major security breach with one of the companies you have an account with.
: ppl can't just hack your account out of nothing. i smell a person who clicked on a free RP link. {{sticker:zombie-brand-clap}}
Why would I click a free RP link lol, when I clearly stated I spend 400-500 Euros. I am not dumb to fall for free things. And before you say anything, if my email was compromised which had the same password while I was unaware.. how do you think that story ends. Also apparently my password was publically online from a previous linkedin breach. For people who read this, please check have I been pwned in the internet. You will see if any of your emails / passes are publically known due to a big breach or certain companies.

: Yep, The saddest part is that two-step verification is a thing in every piece of software or website nowadays, except for Riot Games. They still live in 2012.
I don't understand how a company which makes such a revenue, can't implement a simple 2 factor authentication. It's simple they don't care about their players, they are just a simple money making machine with poor quality towards the customer. Creating a new account after 400-500 Euros spend. That was the reply and they say it like it's nothing, a younger me was naive to support them. In the end it turned out they clearly don't respect any values towards the players integrity. I hope nobody has to go through the same one day.
: I was banned too 3 years ago, because a "friend" of my, used third-party programms. I am really dissapointed with this company. They don't care about people who have changed, or trying to. They don't even ban smurfs, trollers, inters, flamers. This company is just S A D.

Not even a simple 2 factor authentication is in place. While this company has had enough revenue over last years to implement this.
