Wait a minute... As you said I went to my profile and at the left bottom there's a little symbol of a so called Hextech Chest. Below that I can see the number 4 BUT when I go to my inventory there's no chest available for me to open?? Is that number 4 telling me that I've got 4 chests to open or is it just there to inform me that I am capable of receiving 4 free chests...
: >When do I exactly get those chests within a month or do they drop randomly? >How do I get an S-rank? My best was A- >Do I need a pentakill or something like that? Im assuming your A- was on garen when you went 24/10/11? If so then you would need a higher cs (minion/monster kills) To get an S you need to perform above average on your champion in all aspects You get the chests as soon as you get S rank on a champion >So basically what you're saying is that you only get as mutch keys in a month as you do get free chests? Correct >So why the need of hustling for a S-rank in order to get a chest, when you can only open 4 chests per month? >Or are these free chests not as good as earned by a S-rank chests? Correct me if im wrong, but I get the impression you think there is 2 different types of chests you can open? Ones from S rank and ones from keys? If so They are the same, You get the chest for S rank and then use the keys you get to open them If not, please tell me the way you think it is and I will try to help more >Edit: You also didn't tell me what you get from these chests. Not sure if this is everything but you can get: Champion and Skin shards Gemstone (which can be crafted into exclusive rewards) Another chest/key Summoner icon Ward skin shards {{sticker:slayer-jinx-catface}} Edit:Hansiman beat me to it...
Well that makes sense ^^ Tanks a lot!

AHHHHH Man, you really broke that down pretty well! Thank you very much sir.

: > how do you get these chests By getting an S-rank on a champion you own. You'd also get the chest if a premade gets an S-rank when you're playing on a champion that has a chest available. Hello, thank you very much for your quick response. When do I exactly get those chests within a month or do they drop randomly? How do I get an S-rank? My best was A- Do I need a pentakill or something like that? So basically what you're saying is that you only get as mutch keys in a month as you do get free chests? Or are these free chests not as good as earned by a S-rank chests? ....or am I just totally lost? ^^ Edit: You also didn't tell me what you get from these chests. (Sorry, if I'm a bit annoying)

: Hey there ! The best way to consistently get gold is trough farm (killing minions). When you give the killing blows to minions, they give you gold. To do that, you should wait until a minion is almost dead and give it the killing blow (we call it last hitting) instead of hitting them all the time. You should try to have about 80 minions at 10min. You should never ignore them or think that they don't matter. A lot of beginners keep trying to kill the enemy champion and forget about them. Having 15 more minions that your enemy is equal to having 1 more kill than him in term of gold. So if your enemy have 20 minions and you have 50. It's as if both of you have 20 minions but you have 2 more kills. Losing farm means putting yourself behind in items regardless of what your enemy is doing. You can add me ingame, I'll answer any question you have {{sticker:slayer-pantheon-thumbs}}
Hello Doom emissary, Okay so at the beginning of a game It would be better to focus on killing minions than going for the enemy's champions. You mentioned that in order to farm effectively you have to give minions the last killing blow. Keeping that in mind I wonder if it's really that helpful to use automatic attacking during the beginning of a game. Furthermore does it matter which kind of minions you attack, since there are different types. It's also said that killing monsters gives you gold, what's your opinion about that? Minions or monsters? Thank you very much for taking your time in order to give me some advice!

Especially Yasuo is notorious for being really hard (and he's banned quite a lot if you play Normal Draft). If you're looking for easy to play champs, I'd suggest Ashe, Annie, Garen, Sion, Lissandra, Leona, Amumu. While leveling up to 30 easy champs have the advantage of being relatively strong because noone knows how to play the mechanically intense champs. Starting level 30 and especially in ranked they have the huge advantage of giving you way deeper insight in the game because you pay less attention to which buttons to press then to the actual gameplay and the map. However, they have the huge downside of being super boring and not fun to play. Although I'd count Miss Fortune to those champs. So if you've enjoyed her you might also enjoy mentioned "boring" champs. In the end just buy a champ. Sooner or later you will end up having enough BE for another one if you're not happy ;-)
: Free champions rotate, so you can just save up and try out those champions once they are in free rotation...
Didn't know about that. Thx a lot!!

: Get the New Player Pack that is in the shop in the loot section. It costs only 1240 rp and will get you {{champion:245}} {{champion:64}} {{champion:62}} {{champion:222}} and {{champion:25}} . All champions that I think you will enjoy and that are fairly easy to learn (Ekko especially would fit with what you are searching for imo since his encourages a bit of risky play thanks to his ult). Ignoring that if I would have to chose the best one form what you want I would say try Lucian for now, then Yassuo (since he does require a bit more mechanical skill, although not as much as people that play him say) then for something still fitting but different Zoe.
Thank you very much for your contribution! As for spending money in online games I've made a couple of bad experiences in the past but I'll think about it. I guess I'll keep Lucian in mind until I've gathered a bit of further information about him and Yasuo definitly is on my "list" ^^
: My advice would be to first go to the league of legends youtube channel and watch the champion spotlights for each champion you are interested in. This will give you a rough idea of what each champion does. After that ideally wait until those champions come onto the free rotation to try them out for free before you buy them.
Why did I not think of that myself? ^^ Will do. Thx a lot!
: Yasuo is easy to play? You have been lied to in a big way there my friend. Yasuo is popular, but he's also despised among the community. The reason is that he's very hard to really get right, but if you are good enough on him, you can absolutely dominate a game. This leads to a situation where yasuo players either play terribly, dying over and over whilst accomplishing absolutely nothing, OR they destroy their opponents and carry games single handedly. In either case everyone hates you xD That said, I personally enjoy playing yasuo just because I think his playstyle is really fun and has more variety than most other champs. (Unfortunately, that doesn't make me suck any less at actually playing yasuo tho...) However, if you like playing agressive, he just might be your cup of tea. I personally don't like lucian, just because I think there are better marksmen out there that fulfill the same role he does except they do it better. Also he requires good mechanics and falls off (gets weaker) late game, so I don't think he'd be very rewarding to play for a beginner (or anyone outside of the pro scene really). Kindred is a very odd champ, and her playstyle is pretty unique. Also she's a jungler, and that is not a role I'd recommend for a beginner. So yeah, I'd say avoid her. Zoe is kinda the same story as yasuo, even though the two of them play rather differently. But she is very fun to play as well (especially if you like literally killing someone with a single spell from full health, mwahahaha {{sticker:sg-syndra}} ) Also her design and voicelines are kinda... Well, I personally like them, but a lot of the more, shall we say, edgy members of the community like to complain about how she's too much of a disney princess. But if that doesn't bother you, try her out. Xayah is a very solid marksman, with a relatively straightforward playstyle, and she's strong throughout pretty much all stages of the game. So if you want to learn how to play adc in bot lane, she's certainly a good option. In the end it comes down to what kind of playstyle you prefer. If you're looking to be agressive and make flashy plays, killing people left and right, I'd go for yasuo or Zoe. If you want to play a more calculated style, staying back and carrying your team by dealing big consistent damage from the backline, go for xayah. (Ezreal is also a good option for bot lane. He also has an ability that is basically a built in flash which means you can get out of sticky situations more easily and are harder to kill than most adcs.) There are also other options: Looking to be able to go in first, setting your team up for good teamfights with tons of cc while being nearly impossible to kill? Try Sion or nautilus. Wanna play a more supportive role where you mainly help your adc in lane and provide healing and shielding for your team later on? Go for Lulu. It's really all a matter of preference, and if I were you, I'd use the free champion rotation every week to experiment and try out different playstyles and champion types so you can find out what suits you most.
Hello there (again), First of all, thank you very much for taking your time to answer my questions in such a detailed way and thus giving me a deeper insight into the game trough your personal experiences. Yeah, I guess I was wrong about Yazou but from reading your comment and watching a couple of gameplays, he seems to be a pretty legit champion - regardless of what others may find disturbing with him ^^ And yes, killing someone at full health with only one blow would be indeed very funny hehehe - keeping that in mind I presently think that Zoe and Yazou would fit my playstyle pretty well but as for now I tend to go with Xayah first because of her conistency. I also tend to mute the ingame sounds so Zoe's voicelines wouldn't bother me. Furthermore I actually didnt't know that there was something like a free champion rotation which really is beneficial in order to find a champion to play. Thx a lot! Cheers
