: I think that was what they where going with... the stuck up know it all that thinks they are better than everyone else and you just wanna punch them in the face... we’ve all met someone like that, they turn up in media. Riot set out to make a character that we legitimately hate as a person, not because of their kit but because of their character... they succeeded... about the only thing they did succeed with on quiana
They seem to do this too much on too many charachters. Akali, Aatrox they were all added with this kind of dialog.

Your memory betrays you. There are more champions from the Ionia **faction** than anywhere else. On the continent of Shurima, there 21 champions; 14 from Shurima faction and 7 from Targon; 26 in total if you include Ixtal (5). The continent of Valoran - Demacia (15), Noxus (11) and Frejlord (14) - has 40 champions. The island of Ionia has 18 champions. Proportionally to its size, Shurima, even including Ixtal, has few champions. You're complaining about something that doesn't warrant complaints.
Im not critisizing the number of champions, Im critisizing the need of adding another immensly strong civilization/ancient strong people to Shurima which it already has plenty.

Compare the power level of Ioanian champions to Shuriman ones. With one or two exceptions you can see how diffrent the power level is.

: Nagakabouros may not be a God either. Aurelion Sol adresses that too: "[You do not understand your god, Illaoi](https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/0/08/AurelionSol.tauntIllaoi01.ogg/revision/latest?cb=20160309222633)". The way he says it makes it seem like maybe there's something more to that "God" that we don't know. Then there's this: [Riot Jaredan](https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art/npwEyEYA-is-nagakabouros-the-almighty-god-in-lol-or-just-another-god-people-worship?comment=0003) > [{quoted}](name=Jaredan,realm=NA,application-id=6kFXY1kR,discussion-id=npwEyEYA,comment-id=0003,timestamp=2017-01-25T18:15:43.592+0000) > > Nagakabouros is one example of a faith, most notably espoused by Illaoi. There are monotheistic religions and polytheistic religions in Runeterra. Who is to say what is true? It's all a question of faith. Except for Bard. He just knows. As you can see, the senior editor is hinting at Bard being a different entity from that "god". Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Bard is the only true God of all realities. Bard is neutral, as a God should be. He only interferes in rare occasions.
I believe that Nagakeburos is a god since itself actually exists and possesses powers like judging ones soul.

All of theese " Gods " of lol are just limited in a way or another. Aurelion with the crown. Xerath with rune seal. Darkins with weapon seals. Only Nagakeburos and Aatrox are free in a way. I agree that if that weapon sealing and rivalry beetween human and Darkin is good but it is really being overused by this point. Kayn s one was good but Varus had a much better potential. The flame and the corruption could be used in a much better way other than just throwing a Darkin in. Varus now is just 2 lovers stuck in the same thing Kayn is. This concept just gets boring and wasting both Darkin and charachter potential. Darkins can be much better then corrupting super powers. Well, frankly i like way more the Darkins as they are now, weapons who craves for blood and fighting, rather than as vague entities trapped somewhere and longing for freedom. If Rhaast was a "god", and could be released by possessing Kayn, he would probably not care a s@@t about walking the earth to kill people.
I think they could use the flames under the temple and make it into another being and overall improve the story in a better way.

I'm not talking about litteraly being a god but rather being that possesses immense power. I'm okay with weapon sealing to a deegree. What Im not okay with is using Darkins in the same way a second time. Darkin creating inner fight and tries to take over control and the human/humans tries to block him. Kayn is good for me. But Varus could be much better in my eyes. This just made Darkins weaker in lore and used the same concept twice with adding another person and love.

: Darkins are not gods. End of rant. Why would you even assume they are gods? It isn't stated anywhere that they are. Do you consider Tahm Kench a god too? Or maybe Evelynn? I know, Voidborns are also gods too, right? No. Those are all very powerful creatures, but they aren't gods. Even Aurelion isn't a God. He's what we, mere mortals, would call a God, but he isn't one. Aurelion is very arrogant when talking about himself, but he doesn't acknowledge himself as one: [Aurelion Sol Lore](https://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/site/mount-targon/aurelion-sol.html) > Pockets of warring, fearful, rejoicing life tucks itself into any fertile nook it can find below. Oh, how they gaze and point as I streak over their heads. I’ve heard the names they call me: prophet, comet, monster, god, demon… So many names, all missing the mark. A God, by definition, is an omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent entity. The only champion that could be considered "God" is Bard. In his teaser you can tell that he's omniscient, as he reacts to the conflict that was happening while being nowhere near it. He's omnipresent because he can literally travel through realities and be anywhere he wishes. But he isn't is omnipotent, at least not that we know off. Try to find 1 single champion that meets all those criteria and you can call him a God.
Im trying to say gods in a way that beings that possesses allot of power, I accept Im at the wrong not saying " Godlike ". Except champions there are many gods. Illaoi' s quotes indicates that. Nagakeburos is one the gods in the universe.
: As a matter of fact LoL is full already of "gods" who, for some reason or another, can be perfectly hurted and killed even by mere humans. I'll say that these are the "jokes" of the lore, and compared to them, sentient weapons that can either possess living beings or being resisted/controlled/kept at bay by them are way more interesting. Omnipotent things who none can fight against are boring.
I do not think so. All of theese " Gods " of lol are just limited in a way or another. Aurelion with the crown. Xerath with rune seal. Darkins with weapon seals.
