I started in dec 2010 and my first ban was in 2011 due to leaving games when I didn't care much about lol as a pre level 30. The perma ban came late 2012. Nov i think.

: It works in Rocket League because of one simple reason, there are no items, levels and other stuff. All players are equal all the time, the only difference is skill

: So, I am supposed to volunteer in-game as Talon lvl 12, where everyone is lvl 16-18 already, I am 8k gold behind, they are fed as ****, our base is in ruins and I will risk losing my LPs? I dont think many people would volunteer for that.

I dont think many people would volunteer for that. The point in this queue is to make sure that a summoner doesn't stay at level 12 in the first place. I didn't say anything about losing elo for it. That would be stupid. I said reward bonus IP and maybe give him if he wins a smaller amount of elo for filling in. It doesn't sound that bad to me, you could use the bonus ip to buy champs or runes and many people would queue up.
: Proposal for afk's in ranked
: when do we get our ranked rewards (border maokai skin etc)
: I have to ask: Do u play Rocket League? :D Rocket League has the same system. I actually like the system and i also thought about a system like this being in LoL, but it would be way harder to implement in League of Legends. I also like the part of ur idea to make it voluntary by creating a different Queue. The problem is, while the person being AFK is not playing anymore, his account still is. I dont know if it is possible to make someone play on this account or kick one account and swap in another one. Well, it propably is... but Riot also needs to copy items, stats, farm, gold etc.... WITHOUT BUGS! Another problem i think about are trolls. When someone wants to troll and just doesnt play anymore he cant get replaced for being AFK. A Vote-system could be abused pretty easily. I think this system has potential, but it would need very much work to be solid.

No I haven't actually, glad to hear they have such a system, and I agree it would be harder to do in LoL but I have faith that RIOT can if they really wanted to. Of course it is possible for them to connect someone else into the game, but not using the same account I guess that wouldn't be fair. To avoid vote system being abused make players have a limit to using it so they only use it when they really need to. You get given more depending on how many games you play.

: Interesting concept, yet I see multiple flaws: 1. As already stated, the AFK get's punished for that. But what if he has a technical issue, even though he has a stable machine? Such exceptions happen and those players get punished hard for something that they can't controll. If they have an unstable machine, then it's deserved, but otherwise it's not fair. 2. Queuetimes will be very long. You already see how long the Queuetimes are, just because of the roles you can select today. Now add in the Champion and you will kill the Queuetimes. 3. Higher rewards don't seem to be a good idea. I think many people would try such system, but I think too many would try. Those players wont queue up because they want to help, they would queue up for the rewards. Such a system is unhealthy for the game and the community. I don't see how this is going to work out. At first look it might seem good, but it has too many flaws that you can't ignore.

At first look it might seem good, but it has too many flaws that you can't ignore. This is precisely why I wanted to post this, so I could work on these flaws with help from you guys to point them out. Lets see. 1. Fair enough, then maybe give him a minimum of tries before he isn't allowed back in? Say if he dc's and reconnects 3 times in a game it could automatically replace him **if the team choses to vote so. ** . Also taking into consideration the duration between dc's 2. Well first of all we must remember that this queue would be an extra, as in it's there to try to help so long as it can. I don't think queuetimes would be long since loads of people play league and many people get afks that really mess them up. Maybe they could even put some kind of icon that shows the queues need for summoners to play and give more IP if the priority is higher. Imagine this. Graves goes afk after remake time. Be it because he lost lane, had a dc, whatever. Team can /cv call vote and vote to "search for summoner", once this activates this game is lead into the queue therefor the queue can keep track on the number of games in need of a summoner, and then try to pair them up with someone with a similar elo. As a side note, lets face it, RIOT could make easier ways to get IP. I mean fair enough back when there were 30-60-champs but now there are so many to get.. Not to mention runes and other things available for IP. With 100 ip per average 30 min game getting most champs takes a few years. They can make plenty of money with skins, champs should be almost free. 3. Then make the rewards greater if the game is won, therefor they will try to win and get more IP for that sweet 6300 champ or namechange! As for this one I think that queue priority icon idea would cover this too. If you have the time let me know what you think.

: So what you are suggesting is like anivia's Q, an indicator around it that only ekko can see... tbh I think that might be a decent quality of life buff so I don't see why not.
: Would love this, but: If only we can see it = Buff. If the enemy can see it to = Nerf. This is just my opinion. TBH, just hover your mouse over your r and you'll see how big the radius is and try to learn it. :)
It doesn't have to mean a nerf. I would prefer that rather than not being sure when I ult if it will hit or not, especially in an important team fight.

I see what you mean and I feel there would be mixed opinions about both teams being able to see the circle. Personally I wouldn't mind. Mainly because if the enemy can already see the Ekko's shadow, they can already guess that getting close to it is a no go. I don't think being able to see the circle will generally have much affect on their positioning in a team fight rather different from now. And anyway, if the circle is good enough to zone an enemy, then the circle is good enough for me :D So yea, I would rather them put it for both teams at least, than not having it there at all.
