Yeh, and then she uses QSS and completely nullifies your stun while proceeding to annihilate your whole team. I don't care about her damage, but her invisibility is way too op, you can hardly attack back. Just make {{item:3364}} reveal invisible units instead of their position, problem solved.

I started playing since 2013 (season 3), but ever since season 4, I started to lose my interest in the game... The reason was because of the champion "updates", I miss the old Xerath when you could evolve into a turret and annihilate your enemies from distance with 40% magic penetration...etc (now he's just boring for me), the old Soraka with her AoE homing Q and strong heal with a reasonable cooldown and can be used on herself. The old Karma, this one I only got to play for like 2 weeks, oh it still pains me to see how such a nice model & champion design got replaced by.. ew.... I also miss the old simple Veigar kit, when his Q was single-target and didn't stack AP as fast as he does now, when his E was instant, and his mana costs were so high to compensate for the damage and CC... He had to work a lot harder (more time stacking Q) to be able to one-shot anyone, but now it's too easy, and his kit feels a bit lame imo. These aren't the only champion "updates" which made me lose interest in League.... The list is long, and I hope you got an idea of what I'm talking about.

70% of my league buddies (not irl friends) went inactive since last year (I have like 350 players on my buddy list), only 15-10 of them are active daily/weekly... It's really weird to argue about a game when I just want to have some fun, but the "company" barely cares about its playerbase.

Not really, unless the guy playing him is absolutely garbage. Azir isn't "high skillcap", he's kinda like Lux, sit behind and attack from let's say "semi-long range", only difference is that you won't be able to dodge his soldiers. You just W > Q AA AA AA AA AA. What makes an Azir a god is the ability to perform the drive-by combo (W > E >Q in mid-air), and the knock everyone back combo (W > Q > E or W > E > Q then ult backwards). Positioning also matters, just like ADCs.

No, just make a server for south Africa, EUW is meant for the west part of EUW not for south africa. Did you see the chicago outrage on NA boards and reddit? Hawaiian & Japanese players got screwed over. And even, they "centralized" the server to reduce the ping of east coast players... at the cost of latency increase above 120 within the west coast.

I know about Soraka's Q at short range. But Karma is like the old Veigar, she relies on rooting her opponents to land the secondary Q damage, and it's not like she roots herself like fiddlesticks when she uses her tether. Also it roots for 2 seconds at max rank. At least Karma is able to pull off her whole combo. I don't understand why she's underplayed mid-lane. It's so fun to play with her xP I usually make LeBlancs rage quit since the laning phase.

Riot just loves making champions garbage with a slow-projectile speed/long-delay, not talking about the E, but the W. Soraka suffers from almost the same thing on her Q. As you said, yeh making his W's size scale off AP (like his ult, but also making the radius bigger) is a very good idea :3 Another way to buff it would be to reduce the delay to at least 0.75 since the cast time is 0.25 (1 second total instead of 1.45)

Also i forgot to mention that the cooldown and mana cost of his w was also lowered while it's damage is still the same. it was a pretty huge compensating buff to that 1 sec higher cd on q. His aoe damage got a significant buff while they only lowered his single target dmg by 0,2 ratio on ult.
The W buffs are meaningless since you can only land it if the target is stunned/rooted/HEAVILY-slowed. He needs the 1 sec decrease so that he could poke more often in lane/combat. Currently if he uses his Q in the laning phase to poke, he misses 2 AP points, and it doesn't even deal that much damage, only late game.

: they changed his e so that the delay starts at the start of the cast rather than at the end of it just like its warning particles. so yes it is 0,5 sec. his e also got a huge buff when they made it stop dashes. so im fine with it even if it is actually 0,75sec. it really doesnt matter because i know how to land it anyways. Also what people build on veigar depends on their play style. I myself never build tear on him. I just rush morello and a rabadon right after that, if im against ap. against zed i rush zhonyas. I find the good amount of ap, cheap item, good manaregen and 20% cdr to fit my build much better than archangel staff which only gives mana which veigar really doesnt need and pretty good amount of ap. also archangel staff is much more expensive and the only profit veigar gains from it is ap when morello gives what i listed above and the heal reduction passive. If you want cdr and still want to build archangel's staff then the only real option is to go for the morello which just slows your build down. While you are right about point and click abilities having " infinite range", there is just so much more profit in the skillshot type ability. You can use it where you cant see so you can kill an enemy who ran in to the bush. Also the old q had much lower range which made it possible to deny his q farming by hitting him when he went for the cs. now it's nearly impossible. You also stated that you cant poke as much anymore and i need to say bullshit on that one. Having longer range its easier to poke because you can hit the enemy from further away which makes avoiding the poke very hard. you can also poke them while you are farming your q when before the changes you couldnt do that. also being able to get 2 stacks with 1 q saves a lot of mana. this is especially useful when the enemy is trying to push the waves to your turret. The cases where minions would block it entirely are very rare and only means that you positioned yourself badly because there needs to be 2 minions to block it. In my opinion the cooldown is justified and im not trying to deny him a buff. My point is that why would you want to buff a champion that doesnt need it? Also as a side note, cassiopeia's q has even smaller radius than karthus has in his q and she also has 0,4sec delay on it. Can you say that it's easy to hit and enemy with a lay waste when the enemy is trying to dodge it? the answer is no. the damage on cassio's q is also pathetic because it's not maxed first and is only used to get stacks or to use it for movement speed or to get the poison on for e, which has short range, so there isnt that big of a need to even dodge it. Syndra's q is a bit harder to dodge without boots but it still needs to be predicted and thus it can be juked thanks to the delay it has. It also start doing any meaningful damage after lvl 9. It also has a high mana cost which makes syndra oom quickly if she uses it often.
I still really don't understand why you're trying to deny Veigar a pretty simple buff. Like if he's going to be FoTM broken with a 4 seconds cd ability.
: yea sure they hit multiple targets but how many of them gain more ap by using that ability? that's right, none of them. also those abilities deal less damage than veigars q thanks to his constant lead in pure ap. Also veigars q is much harder to dodge thanks to its speed and no delay and also longer range than some of those spells. for example if xerath wants to hit a max range target he needs 2 seconds from activating the q to actually hit the enemy with it ( 1.5 sec to reach max range and 0,5 sec delay).ziggs, cassio and syndra q are easy to dodge and lissandra has pathetically low range and damage on her q. also it is not the same thing to have 2,5 sec cd on an ability that hits 1 target than having a 5 sec cd ability that hits 2. having 2,5 sec cd on q would make him have sustained damage which isnt what veigar is supposed to do. imagine veigar at 10 minutes having morellonomicon which makes him have 300 ap. that would make him deal 180 + 260 = 440 dmg every 2 seconds to the enemy. No one would want to face that in the lane. morello gives 20% cdr so q cd = 2 sec. he would be able to hit an enemy twice during his stun. that would be broken. His 1 sec bigger cooldown is combensated with faster farming and more aoe dmg in team fights. his w is the same. his e now has counterplay to it which doesnt need compensation ( btw the delay is 0,5 and not 0,75 ). His ult has lower cd and mana cost which compensates for the damage ratio that dropped by 0.2. (he can still oneshot enemy apc with just the ultimate if the opponent goes pure ap and no mr. been there done that. If you still think he needs buff then feel free to add me and we can play 1v1. I can show you why he doesnt need a buff and why his q is stronger than any other apc q. a little math: Old q could get you 5 ap in 20 sec, 25 in 100 sec the new q can get you 8 ap in 20 sec, 40 in 100 sec (not counting the double stacks from cannons) the 1 sec cd nerf on his q is justified.
first of all I'm not asking to make it 2.5 seconds cd, because that's retarded. Second of all, yes it's 0.75 TOTAL delay on his E, 0.25 cast time + 0.5. It should count as 0.75 because the warning particles start instantly not after the cast delay giving it so much for "counterplay". Wow that 10 seconds lower cd truly compensates for the 0.2 damage lost. The 225 mana cost at lvl 16 wasn't a problem for Veigar since he usually builds archangel's staff + his passive already regenerates a lot of mana. But now I feel forced to build Morello because of that damn 1 sec cd increase. His old Q had 3.8 cd with only 5% CDR from masteries, meanwhile his current one has 3.75 cd with 25% CDR (masteries + morello). I played Veigar a lot since season 3, and I can last hit the whole minion wave with my Q without many problems, while still being able to poke my opponent more often, the only difference now is that I can clear the wave faster and poke less often. Don't forget that point'n'click abilities are guaranteed to hit whilst skillshots can miss. Also point-clicks have infinite range after the cast range, which means when they are cast, they will follow their victim anywhere even if they dash-flash-lantern away...etc (remember wildturtle's caitlyn ult?) Minions can now block the ability, so why also increase its cd? The cd nerf on Q isn't justified, I just don't understand why you're trying to deny Veigar a cheap buff (more like a nerf reversal). Oh, and btw, you can only dodge Cassiopeia/Syndra's Q only if you're out of range or have like 470 movement speed.

They shouldnt buff his q because - it has much higher potential damage per second thanks to being able to hit 2 targets - it is faster at farming than the old q - it helps you push back if the enemy tries to push you in without using your w - now you can poke the enemy while you are last hitting the minions which will prepare the enemy for your kill-burst - now you can farm from a safer distance than before which basically makes it impossible to deny his farm - now you can use your q blindly to kill someone who is in the bush or out of sight with low hp. the only thing good about the old one compared to the new one was - you can't miss the q because it's targetable (only if the enemy becomes untargetable or invulnerable.) The cooldown is 1 sec longer because it compensates for all the positive changes made to it and it is very reasonable. Veigar is also a burst mage who shouldnt have abilities up all the time. I main Veigar and i dont think he should be buffed because he is already strong enough and one of those champions that are rare to see in a game and i want him to stay that way. He has become a lot harder than he was before the rework thanks to skillshot q and delayed e. i can land those almost every time and i dont want them to make him easier to play so everyone could play him well. all in all veigar is better after the rework.

They could've made it a 2.5 cd ability that only hits one target. Oh and I don't think that 1 second decrease would make him broken, lmao what the hell? "Potential to hit 2 targets" Xerath's Q hits all targets within it, deals more damage and has 1400 range. Karma's Q hits all targets within its 250 explosion radius too. "Impossible to deny his farm" Melee minions already deny it by randomly trying to assassinate caster minions. Look at champions that have 4 seconds cd on their Q (poke) ability that hits all targets(not just 2): Ziggs, Syndra, Lissandra(3 seconds), Cassiopeia. I'd pick Cassiopeia & Syndra at anytime especially since they're more fun to play dealing constant damage with their spammable abilities. Meanwhile Veigar has 1 second increased CD on his Q because it hits 2 targets which was already compensated with lower damage on ult, 0.75 delay on E and reliability on W.

Actually, it being a skillshot + hitting up to 2 targets per cast + 300 more range is much better, and the missile speed is like Ezreal's Q. The only annoying thing about it is that they increased the CD at max rank from 4 to 5 for no reason. I mean they already nerfed his ult's ratio down to 1.0 from 1.2 as a compensation for 30% faster AP farming, but why the ability's CD as well? Also I don't understand what you exactly mean. Are you saying that Rito should just revert his rework? Well that won't happen because Gypsylord is mightier and knows better than us players Kappa. Or do you perhaps mean that Riot won't change it back because they don't want him getting buffed?
