: Riot: some tips from a new player that won't be staying long
Thanks for the tips, will check them for sure. I don't see "feedback" anywhere so I posted here. It's not a thing for a support ticket either.. Apologies if it's not the right place or it causes negative feelings. That's not the intention. Now, with regards to point 2 - mobility and 4800be champs I probably wasn't clear enough and led to wrong conclusions. Let me rephrase it: Mobility is incorrect word. Dashing/jumping/teleportation as ability is what i meant. Do you need and want it? As MadEclair said- it depends. If the champion has good range and set of abilities, probably it's not a must have. Else...it is. For me at least. Try Ashe or Xin and then Tristana/Vayne and Warwick/Evelyn/Zac. You will understand what I mean. Which brings me to 4800be champs - when i said OP, I didn't mean "nerf please". I meant they have range AND mobility by default (as dashing/jumping/teleport/etc.). Cheaper champs- either one or the other. Again, I'm new, might have overlooked something good. I have 2-3 of jng and support champs.. but no mid, except Brand. And all feels like being onetrick since BE is so limited, it is forcing me to play 2-3 champs all the time. If I buy Ahri and Lux - done forever. I don't even know how Ahri plays since I'm tired of checking pool rotation. I know of LoL tier list and that some reasonably priced champs are with good winrates. However most of them I find useless and crap. Sure, some experienced main will laugh and destroy majority in 1on1 with those, but again- I would like a reasonably priced competitor to 4800be champs with their overall ability set! I can't play against Ahri, Xerath, Lux, Zoe or Vayne with Ashe or Brand. Graphics: all maxed, I zoom in and...champ is washed out, skin is almost like a paint here and there. I like art, would gladly buy some, but I want more than jpeg at loading screen. Content and 14000 champs available..non existent since i will never be able to try them, what about buying some. Hope that throws more light on the topic. And again - this is my opinion, not enforcing it on anyone.

: Riot: some tips from a new player that won't be staying long
Thank you for the kind words, but this wasn't meant to be a discussion - I know there's a way to make this playable. I've been doing that for 18 levels. My reasons are stated clearly and are not what you're pointing out. I'm happy your mileage varies and you are enjoying the game! I'm also happy that some of you are having or had a "nice"...childhood and sexual experience, but my feedback was for Riot. If it's total nonsese or not - they will decide, if they want to read the post at all. My "obligation" as a customer is to say what I think in order to give the manufacturer a chance to improve. Their decision is to consider my opinion or not. Cheers and have fun.

: Champions and their cost
Well, as a new player I would disagree with statement "more expensive champs are not better". 99% of anything priced 4800 and above will rip you apart on the spot. Of course strange coincidences like Tristana do exist, but those are rather exception and very few. To be perfectly honest, current system for me means either be one-trick or simply move to other games. Unless you would like to participate in monthly subscription type of game... which honestly should provide more content that a simple static arena.. my 2 cents.
: Champion prices are now too high
As new players we actually don't care "**how it was before**". I'm sorry to hear you had to grind more or have a difficult time, but for me the current system is pay a lot to unlock anything useful. Why? Because It might not be a must in first few weeks, but we need to try different champs, learn them and be able to counter them. Or at least find our classes and champ types, which fit our playstyle. This is not CSGO or Battlefield where a headshot is a headshot, irrelevant of the gun it's fired from.. All nice stories how to main a specific champ don't work - you need to know exactly what you like and can play with. Or what you need to counter. Riot should at least unlock all (or several per class at least) in training mode for that purpose. Or offer some package at reasonable price (no, we don't want all their hard work for free). Else it's pointless to even discuss how entertaining it is to play with weekly rotation of champs, having a price tag which is unfordable in a month's timeframe. Just tried Miss Fortune and compared to Tristana she could carry while I'm having a dinner with friends at restaurant. Nami vs. Soraka is exactly same story. Of course price-wise too. Dead end. So, I understand many of you like the game, you've been playing for years, but new players are simply not welcome here. It's a pity though, game looks nice, but gameplay concept is too expensive and does not offer entertainment to keep me interested in grinding. Will be uninstalling after trying what I have in collection. I don't like being asked for payment, before even trying what game has to offer. Been there, done that.
: Champion prices are now too high
I'm a new player - never played Moba before. I'm level 12, sit on 5600 BE and only got 2-3 champions. I have 3-4 shards, that ask me for 800-3000 BE to unlock some champions too. Long story short - I can't take LoL seriously at this stage and invest time and efforts into it. It's 2018 - how many years do I have to play against random people or bots to get familiar with champions, cool downs, abilities? Or shall i invest like 500€ in 10 years old game engine? It's not serious, we're 2018. The pay to xxx (where xxx=unlock, win, progress) is unbearable. I completely agree I should not be allowed to enter ranked and ruin other people's experience! I understand and would accept any restrictions, apart from being challenged by 100 unknown and unreachable opponents, I have to counter every game. It's a bad design and honestly I'm curious how many new players keep commitment nowadays for that type of "free to play games".. those are always 10 times more expensive at the end, than regular games and are terribly outdated and underperforming in general.. So I'll play a bit more, have fun, but would probably switch to another game, which doesn't block content behind 1000h or 1000€ wall.
