: Holy shit...the one game with 80+ kills in under 20 mins. That's the first time I see something like that. What a fiesta :D About the montage, it's a bit raw, but it's OK I guess. Watchable.
Yeah, I think if I had more gameplay to work with and with the sound effects to make the syncing more impactful it would've turned out better :/ Will save up some more footage and make sure the audio gets recorded next time! Thanks for the feedback ^^ I'll take watchable!

: Told ya you would enjoy ARAM :) Good on you for not stopping - and yes, smurfs are everywhere but you will soon learn enough about the game that you can play around their abusive nature and end up winning with your team when they get a bit too overconfident. ARAM is good for testing various champs and also for positioning in team fights (Just don't become addicted to ARAM and not play Summoners Rift). You're close to 30 but don't play ranked yet until you really feel prepared buddy! Keep at it!
Hell yes you did, and I really am enjoying it :D can't get enough! Most of the games I do really bad, but it feels like ARAM is much more relaxed and it's not a big deal! So it's really rewarding when you play well 'cause you feel amazing, and it's just a game when it all goes wrong! Yeah, smurfs in all games just get way too cocky, just got to play off of that maybe even use it to bait them into a an easy gank or something! Not sure entirely since I've not tried ranked yet and I probably won't be doing so straight away at 30! Like you said, get more prepared and feel more confident before trying that! Thanks man :D really appreciate the feedback, it's really helping :)

: Ha yeah the cosplay fanatics talk about Sneaky and BoxBox quite religiously!! Just play, A LOT! Try your hand at some ARAM. Learn about other characters' abilities (eventually you will know how their cooldowns work and can play around them). You might then want to pick up more team orientated top-laners like Ornn, Sion, Gnar (To name a few tanky champs). But most of all, Matt - Just enjoy the game ^^,
Gotta admit, I was very shocked when I saw the cosplay of Sneaky as Sivir, not sure if it was in a good way or not, just ... shocked. I do try to play as much as I can, sometimes I get stuck in the "YouTuber mentality" and think that none of these game plays are YouTube worthy and if you're not careful that can get you down a bit! Funnily enough someone commented the exact same thing on a video just a few minutes ago and I've decided that I am going to record myself reading everyone's passives and active abilities and play it back to myself every night :3 sadly, I tried that back in school and it didn't work so I doubt anything would be different now XD The top laner I was thinking about trying most recently was Tindermere, I never remember how it's actually spelled, or said, so I've started writting it like that :l But the other idea I had was to try someone like Ezreal, but I can't tell you why, he just looks really fun to play, I'm just worried that I might be trying to learn all the different roles at the same time ... But how else do I know which one suits me best I guess xD? I don't know, I just like trying out new things in games and since League has a lot of different stuff for newbies I'm just bouncing between everything right now :3 Thanks for the comments though, they are really refreshing to read and I might have to try ARAM, it has been recommended to me a few times!

: If you're looking to get better at Riven - check out the following streamers and how they build/play her: *BoxBox: https://www.youtube.com/user/albertsunzheng ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ *Viper: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbhTDvxYDkkhDDZG6PGSV3A ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ *Adrian Riven: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKSpMAJYwvgrYZ_SrON96KA ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ She is a very mechanically diverse champ that I find can be really enjoyable while also having the potential to carry your team. You can auto attack between each Q strike (so AA - Q - AA - Q - AA - Q) - essentially 6 attacks in the span on a few seconds. You can use your 3rd Q to jump over walls (you need to be facing the wall and have your cursor on the other side of the wall when you use 3rd Q) She is super fun! Enjoy the League ride young padawan
Thank you for this!! I've heard of BoxBox, but not necessarily for his plays ... same reason as Sneaky. Aaaaanyway, for now I might have to give up on Riven against players, I'm really struggling to do anything in top lane. So far I've been decimated by both a Jayce and Akali. I've been practising the animation cancelling on bots, minion and whatever I can find that doesn't fight back at the level a player does, but the second I try put it into action I just brain freeze and end up rolling my face on my keyboard and not managing anything sadly. The dive over the wall is a fantastic tip, I can't do it at all without dashing with E first, but it's a really useful tip! I assume it's possible without the dash I just haven't got it yet, which is a shame since 2 abilities go on cooldown instead of one haha! For now I'm playing Kennen and I'm doing better in the lane phase, but seriously falling flat during team fights! _Much to learn have I! - Supposed to be a Yoda impression ... probably not easy to tell in text! _ Either way, I really appreciate this! I haven't figured out who I'll be maining yet, but Riven has been the closest to what I'm looking for!!

: Think there is some stuff in mindset you need to get straight before improving. Seen 3k games in bronze 5
It feels like there's so much to learn even before getting into game haha! I was just in a game and got pinged to recall since the enemy team was respawning soon and I was on a tower close to their base! There was two of us there and my mindset was to just blitz the tower, but they said it's better to just reset! So I completely agree with your comment!!

: I don't wanna crush your dreams or anything, but simple tips wont make you better. Tons of experience and practicing will. Don't expect to totally dumpster people the moment someone gave you a tip.
That is true, but to someone like me that's never really played League or anything like it, even just simple tips like what items to buy, or champs to try really does help! Someone from the forums is going to teach me how to kite to make my jungling a lot better too, so little things really! I'm sinking a lot of hours in too, practicing last hitting, positioning, warding, small things that I wouldn't really have thought of! Before this video, I don't think I placed many if any wards so that's probably the most noticeable change so far! And not dying as much I suppose XD

I ... I can't leave! It's too late man, I've become addicted! The only option left for me now, is to play until I get burned out I guess haha! I can't see it happening any time soon. If at any point I feel like I'm getting bored, I'll just random number generate a champion, still well over a hundred I've not tried!! New roles, new champions, maybe even silly item challenges? I don't know, but for a new players, there's an easy potential for thousands of hours :3

: Yea Herald is a weird one and you're right that you have to hit its back - and so whoever is tankiest (jungle or top) will tank it and the other one will hit the back/the eye thing. Side note! Please don't become a Bard main... it's up to you, but holy I hate facing that champion xD I feel like I can never win lane against him xD

AP carry? I don't know the last roles to be honest :L
: Just as a note to the Baron, Rift Harald and Elder Drake: make sure you do a custom with some friends - normally you'd do Baron or Elder Drake as a team or most of the team (usually 4 people, sometimes 3 or 5 depending on the game) and Rift Harald as the top laner and jungler (so 2 people total). I think for the most part I'm really enjoying Nidalee, Master Yi and Varus, but I also have had really fun games as Brand, Nasus, Xin Zhao! A lot of players might not want new players in their games, especially at higher elo, so I can fully understand that!! I have the attention span of a squirrel at best, but I always make notes of what to learn, look up etc. Honestly, any and all help as complicated or just overpowering is really appreciated! One of the reasons I'm not really a fan of the lane gameplay is because of how bad I am at last hitting, I find it a lot easier on an ADC especially near the end of the game when you're one shotting groups haha, but I guess everyone does really? This was an expectionally bad game for it though I will admit, hopefully future games I will be much closer to that 5cs/minute mark! I always forget to ask people though, does Champion kills also add to cs? So the jungle route(s) i tend to take is (Start of the game) Blue/Red > Wolves > Blue/Red > Gank (Either Mid/Top it should be, but I went bot in my jungle vid - Passing through mid, which was probably a really bad idea). Then from what I've read there are XP routes, which seems to be something like Gromp (Frog thing - I'm not sure if it's actually called Gromp) > Wolves/Raptors > Stone things > Gank bottom I'd assume? Then there's an invasion route white I've not even looked up yet. Just wondering if that looks about right to you? That little rule for ganking actually makes quite a bit of sense. I suppose you could kind of use the river as a "guideline" if the gank is easy enough to go for? So if they're past the river at their own tower, no point, if they're past and at your tower go for it! Well, for top and bot atleast. Mid seems a little more on the fly, if you can either get behind them or into the brush by the river and your mid is pushing theirs, go for it? The farming is definitely something I need to up in all my games though! Both regular wards and control wards are something I need to work on more! So during the early game warding red and blue buffs just to make sure it's not being stolen or if you're going to be invaded while taking one? Later on in the game when "lane phase" has sort of ended I'd assume Baron/Rift Herald would be a good spot? I'm slowly getting better at taking towers, especially late game, which I do sort of show off in my latest game (not uploaded), I can shamefully say I've still never done Rift Herald or Baron, I'll probably mess around with them in a custom game to get a feel for how hard they hit and how geared I'd need to be for them. I've also not done the elder dragon, but I have taken some dragons, just unfortunately not in the gameplays I've recorded/uploaded :/ Thank you so much for all the tips though, I really appreciate it :D I hope that soon-ish I can put them into practice and show off that I've learned some new tricks :3

She could work on both mid and top _(at some point people built her like a bruiser with Triforce for some reason)_ but the unseen spear is the deadliest. It's really hard to poke enemies through minions as Nidalee because those little buggers absorb spears like it was free candy from a suspicious van.
The trap is the thing I struggle the most as Nidalee for some reason :L I'll either forget to place them, or I'll just somehow not manage to get a mob to walk onto one haha! I've seen some really great plays where they'll hop into cat form just to dash above the minions quickly swap back to human form and spear the enemy champion, I just can't seem to time it right since my R is still on cooldown before I can swap back to human form, it could be that I'm doing it too early in the game. I assume the more points into her R the less of a cooldown there is. Can't think of anything else it can change?

And Nida can be deadly in right hands. > I'm not sure if I understood this right, but does Elder drake's buff get amplified by the amount of drakes the team that secures it has ... or does it just amplify the current buffs the team has? Or both haha? It aplifies buffs you got for killing drakes. For example, if you have 16% increased AP and AD from Infernal (two infernals slain) and 10% bonus true damage to monsters and structures (one mountain drake slain), the buffs you have after slaying Elder Drake will increase to 24% bonus AP and AD and 15% bonus true damage for the duration of the buff.
I love Nidalee, I can't play her in the Jungle - at least early game, late game's fine, it's just the first two clears that i struggle with mainly. I'm not sure if she's a viable laner? If so I guess maybe she could mid or top? Not really good at putting champs into lanes yet, support and ADC bot is as fair as I've learned so far! That's actually completely cleared the elder drake up for me thank you! Add me and I can help you with anything as much as I can. > So I've heard about "pink wards" but a lot of time I find myself watching a video that's a year old, or older. Technically they are called control wards. > For example I hear a lot about Red and Blue smites, which I feel like are still in game? But I watched a video explaining the "New smite" which replaces them? Yeah, it was probably like a green one that doesn't exist currently. > As for Yi, I can't remember if I got boots in the video, I don't think I did? I rely on his ult which is probably not a good idea! For Xin I think I work towards trinity force as early as I can which I think gives movement speed. Well, those junglers aren't my cup of tea and I always use a side that relies on Riot Api so search for most popular builds - [champion.gg](http://champion.gg/). You can check it out if you really want. It doesn't work well as a substitute for real guide but it gives you mild understanding on what you should build. I do like to play previously mentioned Nidalee though. > I was thinking Vi for a third, she seems quite similar to Xin and I believe she's just had a buff so might be a really good time to pick her up? Oh yeah. Vi's not a good champion per see but she's viable. She won't recieve anymore buffs but her power level will be at least consistend throughout the season. So it's nice pick. I would suggest you to also try an AP jungler in case all your team happens to be AD. It's really useful to have mixed sources of damage. > Master Yi seems to be a better champ than I gave him credit for then! Well, yeah: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfP3DcJKQ1I (don't look at his builds though, it's quite old montage) He's a low-elo stomper but with enough skill he's also viable in high elo. > Elder drake - didn't quite understand this one when I looked it up if I'm being honest, and I haven't even gotten one in a game yet! Elder drake amplifies buffs from previous slayed drakes and give you nice burn on your auto attacks. And there's a bit of trivia - the more drake you slayed as a team, the harder elder drake is to kill. So if a team with zero drakes contest elder drake, they'll kill it faster and take less damage than a team that has killed at least one. > Again sadly I've not had to counter jungle, which really makes me nervous to go against players haha! Yeah, jungle is all about predictions and taking risks. But this makes this role really enjoyable and satisfying.
I'd love to add you thanks :D If I can get the kiting down I might actually be able to play Nidalee since she's probably my favourite champ so far and that would be my AP Jungler! Though I would also like an easier to play AP Jungler, I just don't know which junglers fall into AP and AD off the top of my head! Glad to hear another Nidalee fan though, I was shocked to hear she's the least picked champion apparently! Admittedly it took me quite a few games just to get the hang of playing her on a basic level, but she's such a cool and rewarding champion to play! There was a video of a Korean Master Yi player with a 100% win rate with several hundred games played - But also a 0% win rate with several hundred games played as Tahm Kench, since he just spat his teammates into towers. But his Yi plays were insane! I'm not sure if I understood this right, but does Elder drake's buff get amplified by the amount of drakes the team that secures it has ... or does it just amplify the current buffs the team has? Or both haha? I love taking risks, but I have a feeling I might love it a bit too much! But I'll get better with time, just need to learn my role, gamesense will hopefully come as I get more hours in the game and just think my plays through :D
: 1) I really like this idea. Haven't seen this being done before. Also, ur commentary is pretty good. 2) Linking to your YouTube is perfectly fine, it's what we have a "streams and videos" section for after all (I would suggest you post there next time if it's vids you want ppl to see since the section u posted in is usually reserved for asking questions and getting advice about the game and the mods can be sticklers about posting stuff in the right section). 3) One word of advice: Don't hesitate to get into PvP. If u play against bots only up til 30, u might face off against ppl that have played pvp since lvl 5 and that can be kinda nasty. 4) A last warning before you get into PvP: I'm sure you've heard, but league players can be... *difficult* at times. So yeah, "/mute all" (typed into chat), might come in handy at times GL HF in ur struggles mate {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}
I'm glad you like it :D I've seen some good players do something similar, but I didn't actually understand a lot of the terminology the used haha! It's good to know after 200+ videos my commentary is finally decent :D Sorry about posting this in the wrong place, I'll try find the streams and videos section next time :D If a mod sees this and doesn't like where it's posted, I'm absolutly fine with the post being moved, or if needs to removed, rules are rules :3 I might see if anyone on my steam friends list has played this game and try hop into some casual unranked pvp tomorrow, last thing I'd want is to hop straight into ranked at 30 and ruin some players games! I'll keep that mute all in mind haha, hopefully I won't need to use it, but I can imagine if you're jungler is struggling it probably makes the ganks sloppy and potentially annoy the laners! You are even encouraged to post your own videos - we have even whole section for streams and videos. It's always good to share your League content on every possible platform to gain more views. So here are few tips I started to note when watching your video: Take into consideration that jungle is kinda hard, especially the technical part of that, learning routes and ways to have optimal clear so don't get stressed if this sounds a bit complicated at first, you'll get it eventually after a bit of practice. * Try to kite mobs even as a melee champion. [The part I highlighted of this video](https://youtu.be/uJMZWw7vR9w?t=1m55s) explains how to kite properly jungle camps. You can watch it whole if you want - it might be outdated but it's still good. All knowledge is good knowledge they say. * Always take the cannon minion if you can. It's just too much gold to pass by. **2:22 - Should I port back after this gank?** Depends. You need to set up a clear goals for yourself, a milestones. You ask yourself what item do you need in the early game and you try to farm it before your first back. To be fair I have no idea what is the most optimal first back for Master. Probably Bloodrazor, boots and pink ward. Well, you don't have to buy pink wards in Coop vs. AI but in PvP matches early vision is important. Even if you don't plan on contesting any objectives, get one and it might just come in handy later. **4:22 I sometimes push the wave.** Yeah, jungler also expected to either help with either pushing t1 or pushing for reset. People might get upset if you take their farm, especially after an unsuccessful gank so if you feel like a good junger you could just let them take the last hits. **5:53 I feel guilty when I take the towers.** Don't be. Master's a hypercarry. You need this gold. If you were something like Sejuani or Maokai then you could've probably just walk away because you don't rely on items that much to be useful, but Master is defined by his items as a late game carry. **6:42 Was that t1 bottom tower was worth a flash?** Nope. You could've just taken it with another wave. **7:30 I don't know what Evelynn is.** Evelynn is an AP jungle assassin. But that spider lady on your top? That was Elise. Another AP jungle assassin. **7:52 I think it was mistake.** Na, you could've just 2v1 them. **8:31 Once I killed the Cho I backed to the bush hoping Annie will chase me.** Always drop a ward there if you can. Never face check. It's just not worth it. **10:09 What should I done in this situation.** You shouldn't dive that deep into their base, especially after wasting flash. **10:20 I should've taken the drake sooner. ** Well, contesting a drake isn't always a best idea. Against the bots, yes but with players you need to make a call, sometimes very risky one and when you do that and you make bad one, you're the only to blame. It's hard pill to swallow but somebody has to make calls. You can also deny other team a chance to roll the good drake by leaving the weaker ones _(cloud especially)_ alive for as long as you can. Sometimes it's better to lose a cloud than to take it and then lose infernal. **11:43 Sometimes in match there's just nothing to do for the jungler** That's kinda a wrong mindset. There's always something to do for the jungler, even if you're getting stomped. You can help with the vision control, you can splitpush, just farm, gank from sides, gank from lane, counterjungle, deep ward, secure objectives even solo. ___ Hope this helps. Nice video btw.
Wow, that comment is absolutely perfect! Thank you so much!! So the main reason I was actually playing Master Yi and Xin Zhao was because they were slightly more "tanky" than the hero I was learning to jungle with ... Nidalee. But I really quickly realised that I can't kite at all, if I walk away I can't seem to get them to follow me before I go for my next auto-attack which makes me feel like I'm getting the timing wrong. I "try" to kite the group I'm on towards the next area I'm heading towards, but I actually almost died to the jungle mobs when I last tried that so for this recording I just face-tanked it all. I will 100% watch that entire video though, watching videos really helps me learn!! 2:22 So I've heard about "pink wards" but a lot of time I find myself watching a video that's a year old, or older. It's really confusing as to what is in the current build of the game - For example I hear a lot about Red and Blue smites, which I feel like are still in game? But I watched a video explaining the "New smite" which replaces them? As for Yi, I can't remember if I got boots in the video, I don't think I did? I rely on his ult which is probably not a good idea! For Xin I think I work towards trinity force as early as I can which I think gives movement speed. (sorry if I'm writing about either the wrong item, or just getting the names wrong!) 4:22 I don't trust my judgement a lot of the time and I've been pinged to back off quite often when helping push a wave, so I also wonder if I'm doing something wrong, or if maybe that player just doesn't like me taking farm (which I can understand). 5:53 A video I recently watched said that to start with as a jungler you should pick 3 champs and stick with them and learn them, currently I'm happy with Yi and Xin, I was thinking Vi for a third, she seems quite similar to Xin and I believe she's just had a buff so might be a really good time to pick her up? Xin seems like less of a carry than Yi, so maybe avoiding "Tower stealing" on Xin makes a bit more sense? Or just smack it and worry about it later haha? 6:42 That flash on the tower probably describes my League playstyle perfectly ... always trying to force a play out, so really glad to see that the long game is what matters in the end!! 7:30 So the whole game I was calling her Evelynn, she wasn't even Evelynn? Pre-bronze ladies and gentlemen haha! 7:52 Master Yi seems to be a better champ than I gave him credit for then! Defiantly going to keep practising him then! 8:31 I didn't even think about placing a ward, but that's a really good idea, thank you! I'll probably forget to do it a few times, but i'll get there eventually. 10:09 That was me basically trying to force a play again, really need to be more careful doing that! 10:20 I'm still trying to remember what all the drakes do! Cloud - Movement speed out of combat Water - Health and mana regen? Earth - More damage to Elite mobs and structures Infernal - More damage to champions? Elder drake - didn't quite understand this one when I looked it up if I'm being honest, and I haven't even gotten one in a game yet! 11:43 You've actually given me a load of stuff to look up and learn from this point alone! I haven't yet had to really worry about vision control, which is why I'm looking forward to learning properly with and against players! I haven't learned about split pushing yet, but the name sounds simple enough! Again sadly I've not had to counter jungle, which really makes me nervous to go against players haha! I don't know what deep warding is, I have a feeling it's going to be simple and I'll regret saying I don't know what it is, but I'll be sure to look it up :) This does help, a lot!! It is exactly what I was looking for :) Thank you!!! And thank you for reassuring me it's absolutely ok to post a link to my own videos, I feel like if I streamed I probably wouldn't get recognised by new viewers to help me learn from my mistakes, so this really is one of the best ways for me!
