Also when you've just aced the enemy team and there is a super potential to push into their base, there's some games where all 3 lanes have minions pushed up to the enemy towers.. and your team decided to spend the enemie's respawn time going for baron when they count have had maybe 2 inhibitors!

I do like jungle, you can have an effect on each lane, and if your team is doing plain poor, always go get a kill from their lane and use your new gold to annihilate another.. :)
In a duo queue situation it's really nice to have a Jungle/Support as combined you can really lay down the foundations for the team.

Do you play ranked only for the rewards?
I'm not judging. I only queue up at the end of season for them myself.
But I feel like they shouldn't be the reason for better player behavior. I completely agree Riot made a bad decision with this announcement, and I truly believe they will revert, or at least make a statement on it at a later date.

Hi Yvette, Riot might not have replied to your report but chances are action has been taken on the offenders. It is also likely if they acted that way to you in your game, they probably have done the same to someone else. You did the right thing by reporting the user and writing a good explanation for the report.

Skill still takes a lot in ARAM, I think it depends how much skill here, if you are around about the same as your opponents but maybe a tiny bit better.. probably matters more what champions you got.
But hell, if diamonds roll into some bronze opponents there's gonna be some heads rolling

OK I researched up on this. Correct Schnitzel thank you. However, failing to pick a champion in select screen for your first 10 matches does not count as a loss as the other players have said. Placements after your 10 matches are made with several algorithms, your MMR, last season.
You'll still have to play 10 full matches. That means if you dodge a queue you'll still have several games to play. Usually a dodge gives you an LP penalty, or a loss in a promotion match however you are not yet placed during your first 10.

Hi bduk3r, Just to note, this effect cannot occur on the same target more than once every few seconds.
So during the first auto attack on a target, Jarvan's basic attacks didn't deal 10% of the target's current health bonus physical damage? I know sometimes after a Q or shortly after another animation you won't see the auto attack play out, but the passive should still apply...

Some people only play ranked. Unfortunately not everyone takes it as seriously...
I'm one of the other-siders, I only play normals.. but I know many people who generally only queue up for ranked, and could quite happily try out a skin or a champion they haven't played in a while. It's not breaking the rules or bad-behavior as long as they are not purposely trolling or being offensive.
I feel sorry for your bad luck as it sounds like he did pretty apallingly.. but unfortunately you will get this regardless of rank if they are an above decent player. There's little Riot can do about it.

Unfortunately this has been an issue for a long time, and it's inconsistent. It used to be the same with Twitch's ult. It's been reported but the official response is automated on how they already know about this bug and are working on fixing it.

Shen is a really good support right now, and totally fun to play. I think Leona is also a very safe, decent pick to any fight. I'd also add Elise to your jungle list but otherwise spot on.

I do kind of agree with this. It's pretty awful, but if you play ranked as a new player and mess up your MMR, or end up in a pretty poor situation it is much harder to get out of it than starting fresh.
A good example is team queues, for the fact that I was in a terrible team and we played poorly 3 years ago I know that any team I join now will be penalized even if we go 100% win rate in placement.. it would put us in a much lower division. A new account however would probably slap you in Gold. And this affects my team mates which is pretty embarrassing.

I think it depends on your playstyle. Back when I had the time to play ranked more seriously I got from Silver V - Gold 3 by going jungle, and having my friend go support so combined we had control over the whole board and it was much easier to help people who were having difficulty.
I just made sure to stay positive all game, as I think morale really affects games. It's why I used to love jungle because I could really make an opponent sweat, and if they are losing, getting ganked, feeling bad, they are more likely to cause their team havok.
Unfortunately due to work and close friends I rarely get to play ranked, so after the 50 games in S3 I've just done 10 games a season to get skins :(

Puddy's right, there have been bots plaguing the system right now.
The other issue, a lot of people join Treeline very casually. The will treat Summoner's Rift as the main game, and mess about in a 3v3. I wouldn't mind a bit of Red attention on Twisted Treeline as I used to be almost solely a 3v3 player.

I hate the changes so much and I think Riot should have made a new champion to consider this with; rather than change what people loved of an older champion established with a reasonably enjoyed playstyle, but your point seems unresearched and probably like my own, narrowminded.
I prefer older Mordekaiser, probably my most played mid. But Riot make these changes to go forward with the game. There's no saying he won't ever go back.

Given the situation, the team you were working with are much more likely to be punished due to the negative attitude.

Trolls do it to get a reaction. If you get an AFK, idiot, flamer or bad player don't nudge back with an aggresive atitude, report the player at the end of the game for their actions.

OK I was in your situation maybe 7 years ago, although back then it was all about Runescape (lol).
Here's an idea, forget about her. I don't know how serious your relationship was from what you've told me but either way she broke your trust and relationship. She obviously wasn't worth your time so don't let it hang over you. Surrounding yourself in girls to forget another is asking for trouble.
If you really need to play League with a female I wouldn't make a post on here looking for one... jump into one of the public chats on league, talk to a few players in game, are there any gamers you know from school/work?

I do kind of agree with Vionicesca, imagine if two users duo-queued, or someone in the team agreed to quit on a loss, you could effectively always gain full LP on a win, and have your mate disconnect every loss so you lose less LP.
It's unfortunate we can't have a fairer system to deal with having one less player, our only real fight against it is tough pentalties on the leaver.

People can say bad things when they are losing a game they want to win. Unfortunately you can sometimes get people feeling superior over ranked placements, prior to this reason and a lack of time to climb a ladder I don't play much ranked.
