: It's ... strange to answer it but ok ... I think of my future to going in pro carrier but I wanna to be like ... known by many people like Bengi , Faker etc. And i'm currently maining top and I don't think I will be that famous is that the word or known by many people with top so I see that there are a lot of known junglers like : peanut , bengi , and the mvp of the worlds 2018 ( he is jg main , I frogot his name ) So I think should i change the lane from top to jungle . I think with jungle I will be more famous or i'm wrong ? That's why i'm asking
As someone who barely follows proplay: Dyrus, Kahn, Huni come to mind for quite well know toplaners (at least for certain periods) And then there was a time where casters (not some if for EU or NA LCS) went: "I don't know who's the best toplane player, but I couldn't think of any bad one." Which I'd say is a compliment to the role as a whole.

While I do enjoy myself some fictional stereotypes, isn't fiction's appeal that they always end up broken?

: What lane is getting more credit
In terms of credit, all roles are very even. You do good, you'll get recognized. The doing that good is the harder part. <.<

: League of Legends turrets are made out of paper and that should not be the case
Isn't it more the powerlevel of champions that melts turrets away, rather than their structure? You can't have basically Godlike beings and then expect them to struggle when they gang up on some building. :c
: Well i gotta put her on my perma ban list, i play support, so I'm at the mercy of my top laner if the enemy picks her, any weaknesses our counterplay anyone could give advice on? like how to peel her etc, I'm assuming her dash has a cooldown in terms of how many times she can jump to the same target
Her dash only resets when: 1) the target dies to it 2) the target is marked by either her E or Ult. I found that once her E is dodged she's a lot less flexible in terms of dashing. But just keeping track of those in general is a good thing to do, for you know how often she'll be able to dash. (Or that once she didn't meet either of those requirements, it will be on CD.) A tried and true method of dealing with similar champ is to just kill them once they jump in. They may try to build tanky, but they generally don't get to a really tanky state. CCing her once she jumps in gives enough time for an ADC or DPS Mage to kill her, if your team reacts well to switching focus.

: AA and atack move click
No Auto attack, I don't like having to command my champ to do nothing and instead prefer the line where they only do stuff when I do it. Depending on the situation I use Shift+Click. It's a useful tool to maximize auto attack when fighting in areas that lose vision. Sometimes it's also just for comfort like when clearing bigger waves as AA based champ.
: Why are tanks allowed to deal so much damage?
The usual way to beat them is to not let them get to you. They can't do anything when you stay at range. This weakness only gets exaggerated lategame where in fights there is easily enough damage to deny tanky-ness, let alone more CC to control their movement. So bide your time, enjoy some free CS, and watch them be useless later.
: OneTrick
Any champ you enjoy enough to. Onetricking isn't something you decide on, it happens because you just enjoy a champ enough to play them 24/7.

: Where do you get a second person though?
You can meet them anywhere really. As someone who's been avoiding people for years, I can tell you, people are everywhere. :c Else there always is a plush or imagination. I personally use imagination. x3

: I would argue that she’s got more iconic abilities... but her E is what is really enabling her kit to work especially mid lane... so changing it a big deal prob would require a rework to make her kit function still.
It seems hard to really change anything about Anivia without making her feel and play different. <.< Then again, I don't think she needs it.
: I know I know, toxicness do you find in all Elo`s but!
The thing about mistakes is they are damn hard to notice yourself. It's easy to just see someone make a mistake, but you do tons you have no idea of. Also obligatory yadayada about it mostly being a loud minority, so many people just stay silent and aren't noticed. ;)
Force6 (EUW)
: Anivia's adjustment
I'm not that familiar with Anivia, but doesn't she only grow stronger lategame with simply her ult + Wall? .-. And the little thing I do know is that her E is about as signature as a spell can get... change it you might aswell rework the champ as a whole. :c
: Irelia Vs Yassou!!!!
In their current states and not consider reliability of getting them... I'm leaning towards Irelia. While I think it's not actually a fault of the champ, but Yasuo's never go tanky and thus will always stay vulnerable to CC, which Irelia isn't. While she may provide less damage she still has enough to kill people.
Cryptidian (EUNE)
: What makes you feel confident in your games? :)
That I'm aware of how unnecessary aggressive plays are and I just don't do them. :3 Confidence comes with knowing a given play will work out, if you don't expect it to the best line is to not go for it. :x Else... practice. That's what just playing for fun is for, test your borders, figure out where you can go in and when it's too much, and after a few successes (and tons of failing) you'll start to know what you can go for. ^-^

: how large should a champion pool be (Low elo)
I've been rolling fine with 2 for years, now more than ever you just need a main role and an off-role pick, maybe 2 main role ones if yours is frequently contested. But the rule of thumb is: however many you enjoy playing and feel like you can perform well on. ;)

: silver is the worse trash elo
I like to imagine that silvers just punish mistakes to make them seem worse... so that would still make them better. (Let's not go to the "Silvers are bronzes that won a lot" argument for now.)

: Default Finger Placement
Shift, Q, W, E, Space Pinkie unused sounds a bit silly. <.<
: Mid Lane Probably the worst lane right now
Yeah, shame there are no midlaners like Irelia that can solo carry. Or burst mages that create 5v4s Or assassins that eliminate high prio targets for easy wins. Or Control mages that can sorta never lose due to amazing waveclear. Or things that Rival ADC damage. I think I'm forgetting a few things here. :c

It's not 100% safe, but I think it's a good bet. We can't forget that ultimately Runetera is ruled by stories being told, and the most meta way to hide in such is to be an unimportant person in an unimportant place. ^-^

: How come not Gpet anymore? Identity crisis? ♥ ♥
GPet sort of is short for my irl name. But I am aiming to change it, so the change to EPet is simply to fit to that. ^^ (It also basically lets me get started here and slowly get used to it rather than suddenly being with a different name irl. :c)

: ~~The probability of your getting the winning ticket will always be 1/10000 regardless of how many times you perform the experiment. The amount ~~~~of times you draw a ticket from the bowl is irrelevant as you always put it back afterwards -and thus resetting the probability of getting the winning one.~~ ~~To illustrate this using a simpler example: consider you have a coin. You flip it once, it land on heads. You flip it twice, and it lands on heads again. Now, even if you flip it a third time, the probability of its landing on heads again will always be 50% as it's independent of the previous outcome.~~
We are not asking "How high is the probability of getting it next draw", we are asking "How likely is it if I draw X times" (before the first draw happened.) For your coin exmple it would be asking: "If I flip a coin 3 times, how likely is it I get heads at least once?" Similar, here we might rephrase it as: "If we draw X times, how likely are we to draw the winning ticket?" It seems rather obvious that if we draw 2 times, the probability of drawing the winning ticket at least once is more than 1/10 000. While the Gambler's fallacy would be: I drew once and didn't get it, so drawing again (a single time) has a chance of: ... 1/10 000. (the mistaken gambler assuming it to be more.)
: Why are these "missions" so simple and easy?
I think Riot does very well in not making missions any major component of the game. Whenever we have some more complex missions (like the 2 augment odyssey one) it seems to have some drawbacks, like what if I don't wanna handicap myself and just play it, yet my teammate really sticks to wanting to do that? Let alone the complaints of when missions are tough to complete of how much grind they require and how some people really dislike that. <.< I obviously don't mind extra goodies, but I personally would play league just the same were there no missions at all... until I get missions that actually influence me negatively by others wanting to do them. Then I might be opposed to playing with randoms because of them. :(
: Yea, got my head in a muddle that one. Haven't done probability in a long time so I forgot everything XD. OP kindly explained it all to me so I get it now.
Knowing some people who think very partically and everyday-oriented... it really is a thing noone outside of mathematics has to care for. x3 Now that that's finished all that's left is to wish you a great day, do enjoy it a lot! :*
: basically you enjoying ruining the game for the ones that ruined yours first
I understand the concept, but cannot relate to the emotion in any way. :( I suppose it's very revenge related. Makes for awesome stories, but is not something I personally have experienced or would like to. ^-^'
: breaking point.
I personally believe in playing for fun (even tryharding can be fun), while trolling is much more of a chore than fun. So now amount of whatever I manage to hurt others with (an act I personally consider more negative than positive, I'd highly prefer to never hurt others for whatever reason) it's not worth to throw away my own fun in doing so. :( You do you, but I cannot manage to understand your thoughts or any satisfaction you could get from those acts.

: Thanks, that was the confirmation i needed =) same results from my friend
ZZZ, it's not about an answer seeming/being correct, just that you understand how one gets to it. ;)
Shamose (EUW)
: That's BS though. Chance doesn't work like that. You can pull an infinite amount of time and still not get the winning one. If that solution works then just write down one repetition. Since you either pull a winning one or you don't so the chance is 50%. This is as much bs as the solution your friend came up with.
So you'll soon throw a (6 sided) dice 10 times, and want to know the odds of getting a 6 at least once. The chance for that is definitely not 1/6. :c (Sowwy, I'm just maths nerding out here, but probability is a quite interesting area, even though it is detached from most everyday scenarios.)
: I'll believe you. But that number is very very "on paper". If you actually did it and tested it, you will find that the chance will always be 1/10000 of a winning ticket. You will always have a 0.0001% chance of winning. It will never increase nor decrease. On paper, your friend may be right and that may be the closest thing to an expected value as you can get, but in practise you will find that there is no such thing as an expected value as it's completely RNG, it's always that 1/10000 chance.
Probability doesn't wonder of "If I draw now, how high is the chance I get it?", but rather of "How many times do I need to draw (before starting to) to expect the winning ticket?" Basically as in "How often do I have to take a 1/10000 chance till it's likely to work out?" It got little to no applications in everyday situations and is more of a mathematical idea. But statistics and Businesses can find some uses for those sorts of calculations. (Obviously they only apply for vast sample sizes.)
Stell (EUNE)
: I need help with a math problem
Every draw obviously has a 1/10 000 chance for the winning ticket. Therefore every draw has a 9 999/10 000 chance of drawing a non-winning ticket. (We will calculate in chance of 'non-winning tickets' as it allows us to add probabilities more easily.) For independent events (like these) occurring together the rule of calculating probability is to multiply their individual probabilities. Drawing twice has a chance of 99.99% * 99.99% =99.980001% etc Fast forward we are looking for 99.99% ^ X = 50% (50% chance of drawing a non-winning ticket = 50% chance of winning ticket) And 99.99% ^ X = 1% (1% of none winning = 99% chance of winning) So either we can plug in random numbers for X till we find satisfying results, ----------- or we wanna maths it further: To solve 99.99% ^ X = 50% we'll have to transform it to: Log base 0.9999 of (0.5) = X (I don't know to use all of the fancy symbols, so bear with me. x3) Log base 0.9999 of (0.5) = 6931.125~ **So with 6932 draws you have a more than 50% chance to draw the wining ticket.** And for Log base 0.9999 of (0.01) = 46049,399~ **So with 46050 draws you have more than 99% chance to draw the winning ticket.** For control 99.99% ^ 6932 = 49.99~% (for a non-winning ticket) 99.99% ^ 46050 = 0.99~% (for a non-winning ticket) ---------- Hope that helped, sadly I'm quite bad with maths symbols for text stuffs. If clarification is needed for certain parts feel free to ask. :3 Edit: now just saw you already got it... welp, I still had fun. x3)
