I am really laughing at the trolls downvoting this post because they don't understand what is autofill parity in first place and because you write why RITO invest money to give a worse solution they blindly treat it as bad post. An interesting example I can give you from my games is that most of the times I had an autofilled jungler(especially towards end of last season) as I play supp, along with autofilled adc/mid/both and opponent teams tend to have autofilled support more making the games autoloss just because of jg difference. Ofcourse trolls on boards keep writing irrelevant stuff like "You lose because you play bad" and shift all blame on to the players, even when matchmaking f*cks up the game from the start. Problem is that the developers took so long to actually acknowledge that autofill parity occurs and I think they will take another 2 years or so to understand why this solution is bad to the autofill; I would be happy if they just fix the client because the amount of problems it has seems to be increasing always.

No, I play in EuW, EuNE, NA, OCE and Garena(Singapore), see players rage quitting more than 5% in first 15 mins. First blood? afk. Jg didn't gank from opposite side of map in first 5 mins? afk. Supp took 1 cs? afk. An ally took the buff? afk. ADC didn't heal and supp dies? afk. ... I can keep writing lot of reasons like this because there were lot of such games where my teammates as well as my opponents went afk and many games were decided by which team had more afk players (or trolls or inters). Maybe it is a silver elo thing, but somewhat seen across other elos too as 4v5 games are like lost by default most of the times. AFK players don't get bans and they will only get "Leaver buster"; it is not at all a punishment because they give 5,10,20, mins for Low Priority Queue and imo it is like coffee break/snacks time for players to relax, stretch and go afk in future games with fresh mind. Even if it is due to bad internet connection, if someone is frequently afk it means that they know that they have bad connection and still do it to ruin other games, meaning they should be punished. Only trolls on boards exaggerate LPQ/Leaver buster as harsh punishments and write off any afk as bad connection, even if the players are rage quitting. Hope they change this punishment system soon.

If your team had chance to pick counter pick to {{champion:11}} or chances to pick champs with reliable cc, but if they didn't then it is fully responsible for the loss. Imo Yi is not picked in pro-play because he will be countered hard and they will abuse his weak early game, making his late game too weak because with no utility he will fall behind hard. Always pick champs with cc because they hard counter assassins and ask your team to play safe because most of the duos snowball only because their opponents don't even take one safety measure against them. p.s: Yi just got a skin and don't expect a nerf {{sticker:slayer-jinx-catface}}

If there is no penalty, players will keep dodging and it will increase the queue times largely. RITO wants to make sure that games are made quicker and even if the games are made unfair and given autofill parity making it a poor quality game the company doesn't care. Instead of having no penalty it is better to have -3, -6, -9,-12,.... kind of LP loss for consecutive dodges and with 5 min fixed timer for all dodges.

He is probably a new player who joined recently, but it is like you write-they added 2nd one in pre-season and it is actually weaker than the previous version. You can see that just by one charge the hp of the herald goes from 100% to 25% (something like this) and it is not a guaranteed tower because it can be easily killed too. I thought top lane would have more impact, but rarely junglers take both rift heralds (atleast in low elo) and only the first one gives lot of gold to snowball. Second one is more or less for control of towers.

From stats alone it is hard to differentiate-but not impossible; from teammates it is easy to see and differentiate. If players are to blindly report for inting or trolling, there can be some system like reducing honor or LP or both for fake reports.

That means that the system is expecting you to carry the ad carry (or anyone with low winrates). Sadly, irrespective of elo, we can only dodge and if we're playing to find that adc is getting like 1 cs from first wave, we just need to ignore them and supp the team from start. In silver elo, we can 1v2 lane with someone like {{champion:143}} {{champion:74}} but in diamond it is upto you to find what works. Going {{item:3858}} {{item:3854}} somewhat helps to get some gold onto them, but switching to these may delay the completion. Finding a duo partner will reduce lot of such problems, but because matching adds certain MMR for the duo advantage to team's average MMR, you have to 2v8 most of the games :)

If we see games in promos or after win-streaks it is blatantly visible that the matchmaker gives us bad teammates to make us lose games and force our winrate to 50% because it is the way to force players to play more games to climb. It is understandable that the company wants the players to keep playing the game and for profit reasons too, but idk how hard it is for them to see how bad forcing winrates is.

Idk what is your acc in which you played those games, but seeing you have 57% winrate in over 120 games the matchmaker is doing its job to force you to 50% winrate by giving you bad teammates. It is similar to how matchmaker does the job in promos and after win-streaks, making us to lose more games and play more games to climb. Always, I mean **ALWAYS** check your teammates' profile during champ select and if you find someone with 40% winrate, just dodge because it is an indication that the game is going to be a loss for you. Some metrics like +/-2 ranks, +/-10% winrate, 1+ autofill in team, recent past performance of them (like if someone is on 5 game losing streak, they will be tilted), kda, kp, vspm, cs,...are what I consider for dodging and use sites/apps like porofessor, lolwiz, facecheck where you get more information on players whether they're autofilled or on main or bad at their role,... Yes. Despite seeing lot of smurfs and players with lot of accounts, most of us stick to 1 or 2 accounts because of skins. Personally I don't want to be in level 1-30 on smurf because of how bad that experience is-bots and toxic players simply ruin the fun, even if it is just grinding xp.

Top lane is kind of island, but it is bad to have games with very low kp because after you win your lane that lead is not utilized as an advantage for your team; taking rift heralds is good to snowball and when junglers ignore top lane you need to make them come to it. After you take your turret, goto other lanes and help them get ahead, especially try to goto drake fights because getting dragon soul is very good. Imo duo queuing is trade-off between these two: 1) We get a reliable partner who can co-ordinate plays and less likely to int,troll and afk vs 2) more chances of three teammates to play bad, int, troll or afk. This is because matchmaker adds certain amount of MMR to team's average MMR for compensating the advantage duo queueing gives. If opponent team doesn't have duo, it is more likely that they will be of higher MMR and higher ranks than our team; this means that the lanes that are not duo are more likely to be losing hard and we're to win games 2v8 most of the times. It applies to all lanes and if you're not duo with anyone in bot lane, it is double feeding festival there-so either camp botlane or ff at 15.

Yes. It is how RITO wants us to do it and this way it encourages players to go and stay afk, so that everyone loses more games on average and be forced to play more games to climb. I appreciate your work, but sadly RITO doesn't change the system-to punish those who go afk and to not punish players like you and only if they stop listening to trolls who exaggerate Leaverbuster as harsh punishment for afk and view the afk/rage quit/dc as 3 different problems they may come up with alternate solution for this. Last season around 9.14 or so I remember few games where multiple players(from my team and opponents) got dc because of client issues and they all lose LP because of this stupid system.

This is because that {{champion:91}} and {{champion:2}} are smurfs(mostly), duo queued; though their ranks are bronze 1 and silver 2, their mmr is probably around gold 4-silver 1 because new accounts start around that range. You were duo with top laner and this means that your team's average mmr will have the duo compensation mmr twice. Just by seeing this in champ select you should've dodged because any game where your teammates are +/- 2 ranks from yours it is mostly a loss. Your opponent team had no premade and so your team had more chances of losing because of mmr mismatch. I would rather ask for RITO to treat trolls like this as toxic players; right now RITO is subtly encouraging inters by punishing them rarely, trolls by punishing them very rarely and afk players by giving them no punishment. Because there is no ban or even fear of ban, players take it for granted that they can int, troll and afk to their heart's content due to any and every stupid reason they can think of. Even if there is an option for reporting, the punishment bot will ignore this and the worst thing is even if we send a ticket, the support bot will send an automated message and won't take any action unless you're a popular streamer or have irl friends working in rito.

Mastery points is something that many players put forth as a prerequisite and though it is good in some ways, it 1) will bad for new players and 2) mastery points are actually experience points meaning someone with 100k points can be worse than someone with 1k points.

You had a 5 game winstreak with win% above 50% and the matchmaker force 50% winrate by giving inters, trolls and afk players, no matter what elo you're in. Because RITO sees these group of players as helpers in forcing everyone to play more games to climb, they punish inters rarely, trolls very rarely and give no punishment for afk players; unless you solo-carry games, even in 4v5 situation it is hard to climb. Even to reach your last season rank you need to grind more games now and I suggest you to find a duo partner. Not only we can make co-ordinated plays with them, they reduce the chance of getting an inter, troll or afk player which will be helpful to win games. I play supp, but I think I can co-relate to this, because level 2 and level 3 power spikes are big at bot lane and even missing 1 minion xp can decide the lane. While it is better to start at bot side where the help is more, some players do start at top side often because their champ is requiring that buff. You don't have to leash so much for them and try asking them to tank the damage because they have jg item and it heals them for damage they deal to the buff. I know that most of the low elo junglers doesn't kite enough to take buff on their own, so I go champs like {{champion:143}} {{champion:74}} {{champion:35}} on supp to tank damage for them. Towards end of last season I even took {{summoner:11}} with spellbook so that the leash is damage free for them and maybe try {{champion:74}} top.

It is because we're supposed to play more games to reach our past rank and based on how we play it may take 50-100 games too. In a way it is better to create an account for every season if we're in gold 4-iron 4 range due to this reset making our ranks fall lot below than our past ranks.

For getting low queue time the position preference is neglected if there is no autofill protection and this often leads to strange things like top filled to jg and jg filled to top. Because there is no transparency in how matchmaker makes games, we're to see player profiles to see who and how many gets autofilled every game. p.s: play supp if you don't want to be autofilled :)

No. It is one of the ways to reel in players to keep playing more games and with seeing statistics it is blatantly visible most of the times which games we're going to win and lose. Trolls on the boards will blindly write there is nothing like this and just enjoy the jokes of them. p.s: use apps/sites like lolwiz, porofessor, facecheck to dodge atleast 1 game daily. Dodging more preserves MMR, LP (3 or 10 LP is still better than 12-25LP) and most importantly our mental state.

It is because there is no punishment for going afk/rage quitting; RITO subtly encourages this by giving them coffee break/snack time break in the name of Leaverbuster and thus giving them time to refresh, stretch, relax to go afk in future games. Matchmaking is bad due to lot of factors and together with inters, trolls and afk this makes even normal players to flame, making them to lose honor and even their acc., due to bans. Though it is kind of stupid solution, we need to disable chat or mute players to preserve our acc as well as mental state. Funny thing is that the trolls on boards are far worse than trolls in game and lately their jokes are getting worse to the point that they simply deny any and every problem that the game has.

Also don't forget that boosting can get one's account get banned because RIOT doesn't allow account sharing.
