: wanna know, what is the most hated champion for you?
{{champion:18}} - I hate everything about her. Her rocket jump gives her far too much safety and she gets a free reset. Why does she get an assassin mechanic and nobody else does. I would love to see a free reset on Blitz's q if he pulls an enemy. But the absolutely boiling point with her was what Riot said... "We are going to redesign {{champion:26}} because point and click bombs are toxic." 1 month later... "We are giving {{champion:18}} a point and click bomb". Its just amazing double standards and shows Riot's preference and favouritism towards AD champions in general. ------------------------------ Close runner up: {{champion:103}} Hate everything about this Champion. It sends out the message to children... "Hey, its good to be a slut". That's basically what she is. She's a sexist, demeaning view of woman in general and I do not care how much her "Lore" supports it. I could write "lore" stating that {{champion:50}} molests children, doesn't mean its anymore acceptable. Also, she is described as a "mage" when she isn't. Yes, she has skillshots but she gets an MS boost on her Q AND her 3-dash ultimate with an E she doesn't need to aim. That gives her more mobility then all the true mages in this game combined. Plus she's popular because "tits" and that is really the only reason so she gets protected from any serious redesigns or nerfs, like {{champion:64}}

Sorry but its a point of annoyance. A lot of champions get punished if they miss their skillshots but Sona doesn't have to because she doesn't need to aim anything but her ultimate. So why should she be rewarded with such high damage if she does not even have to aim. Its just rediculous. This champion was obviously created to be the {{champion:11}} of support, that any idiot could pick up and play.

Because one lane ALWAYS fails hard and instead of STOPPING AND THINKING AND PLAYING SAFE, they insist on dueling again, like its a mistake that this champ killed them, which is rarely is and then the snowball starts. Its amazing watch people do the same thing over and over again and expect different results, thats the definition of stupidity, right there.

While the f2p, totally not pay2win mobas are very popular, and not that numerous. It would be a rather quick suicide for any of the big players of that market to introduce p2w mechanics.

That may be true however, Riot may feel pressure from the recent saturation of new mobas have been released, such as Heroes of the Storm and SMITE and also lose players to "Overwatch" which isn't a moba but very similar. They may feel they may need to do this in order to keep their profit margin high but that concerns me becasue Riot used to stand for something ethically and I remember they saying they were AGAINST these sorts of practices. Besides, they have to remember the line from a massive successful MMORPG that really was benchmark of online games. _"No King, Rules Forever"_ I feel that Riot should decline with dignity and with ethical standards, not try clearly exploitive ways to increase their profits like other companies.

All you get here are visual changes, most of that you can just simply buy for a fixed price. But it allows people with too much money on their hands to spend as much as they want. Who can blame them? Or Riot for that matter.. About making the game simpler to attract more players... I can't find any angle from where this is a bad thing. More players lead to lower queue times. And who needs needlessly complex mechanics anyways?

AT FIRST, all of STO's lockbox offers was cosmetic items as well, with the Galor Cruiser that was only marginally better then the Excelsior and was still pretty balanced as a ship. *Ahem*... THEN they realised they were making good money and the power creep went up and up and up. Its a slippery slope and one that we may not see yet which Riot but adding Mastery 6 and 7 to this system has me CONVINCED that Riot will eventually add other stuff to this system which won't be so cosmetic.

Yes, Star Trek: Online also changed because Perfect World bought Cryptic Studios and the game just took a large ethical nosedive. Content is no longer the driving force of the game, creating and selling ships are. The game offers the barebones of content while flooding the market with different types of overpowered ships in the lockboxs which is designed to keep people playing. Its not a sustainable model as all the content turned into a grind and people leave but its simply to maximise how much money they can make out of it. It scares me that Riot is now doing the same thing.

: kalista is not. Also the problem is his passive, he doesnt need attack speed, he gets 2 extra AA after every spell which deal a big amount of damage, especially in lane. What they should do at least is reduce the damage done from these aa, to make his laning phase more balanced

I am a support main and I notice this a lot with Lucian. He does not really suffer from any periods of danger when he may need a shield from me to get him out of danger. Unless my ADC is retarded, Lucian never really gets into trouble because of access to a manaless, easily spammable dash which, when combined with a shield from me (I main {{champion:43}}) pretty much assures that he will never really be in danger and gets to farm safe.

I don't think its a bug I think It was meant to be that way. They also made the hook really slow compared to {{champion:53}} and{{champion:111}} I agree Thresh is a very versatile champ concidering he got good engage and disengage. He has {{champion:64}} syndrome, meaning that he will always be relevent and ALWAYS viable and he pushes other supports out the meta by doing this.

Technically, you should be able to stop ANY ability with a stun, unless its a projectile that has already been fired like {{champion:43}}'s Soulflare. Thresh and Blitz are different since their hooks are connected to them and therefore they shouldn't be able to use it while stunned.

: {{champion:32}} {{champion:53}} {{champion:111}} say hi. Their "hooks" arent stopped by being CCed either. And who said it is supposed to be a counter-strategy? Not getting hit is, or cleansing it. Counter-strategies are Poke and he is still quite squishy, especially compared to real melee supports.

A counter strategy is that stunning them should CANCEL the hook, that would called FAIR! Since you are getting REWARDED for playing well but obviously can't let their precious Thresh fall out the meta.

I do not believe that champs should be rewarded with high damage when they have rather easy and spammable mobility. {{champion:64}} is a prime example, he has so many ways to avoid being killed and his Q allows him to decide when he wants to engage, some of us do not have that luxery.

: Thinking about it I find, yes, your are right; the equation is not complete. Imagine a triangle of damage (AD or AP doen't matter) - armor/mr - mobility. Total bonus value would be capped at some total value, let's say 500. 500 is ergo the overall max bonus you get from your items, added up from damage+armor/mr+movement speed. So at some point you have to choose which way to go, and you have to sacrifice parts of one to gain more from the other. This would at least somewhat get those freaking tanks right who deal insane damage at the moment. That's not what a tank is meant for. Just look at the bans in each game. CC / CDR / burst / penetration would not be part of the equation. Having to balance these 3 our for your champ in the game (= having to make **a decision** for something which also costs you something as well) would bring more life to "meaningful choices" which Riot has talked about so often. And maybe we'd then also find a superfast Garen dealing decent damage **without** also having one million armor.
