: Pre-Season Ranked System
This also adds up to why the ranked queue system doesn't work: http://boards.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/champions-gameplay-en/V6sUVK5m-flex-queue-sees-a-lot-of-diamond-vs-silver-matchups Regardless of who gets matched with you at what level - it doesn't work

: It's not that big of a deal. When there were some construction stuff going around my house the internet used to be really poor from time to time. I had to do the leave buster thing a few times, yet nothing happened. As long as you don't get this leave buster thing every other day or so you won't have anything to be worried about.
Maybe so. It is still a stain on the clean record. And it's not about the stain, its about the system not differentiating between leavers and non-leavers. I played a total 28minutes in a 36m game. Why should I accept to have left a match where I didn't.

: Are Riot ever going to give a statement regarding games being "drophacked"
I see it happen a lot on stream, people who are DUOing and then both getting drophacked. How many people here are having this problem? Also, are you guys using the possible solution noted here: http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=4608898&page=1 Solution summary: Keep clicking on the map every few minutes to prevent being marked inactive? I really wonder if there are people here who have used this solution who can tell if it works or not. I also wonder when RIOT will come with the statement acknowledging this problem, and what we as a community can do to help RIOT catch those bastards.
: > Be PERFECTLY honest here. I read somewhere that ultimately RIOT can suspend an account when the behaviour doesn't improve. But would you want to do that? Losing a significant amount of the player base (seeing the amount of QQ about flamers in "every" game) and thus a lot of income would basicly mean the business case of this game falls apart. Bye bye big tournaments and life expectancy of the game. Roughly 5% of the community get a punishments at some point. Roughly 1% of these players are the players you are referring to: The players that can not be reformed. Thats 0,05% of the players, one in 2000. This is not a "significant" amount of the community. Additionally Riot did some research on how toxicity affects the likeliness to stop playing the game. Players who see higher amounts of toxicity ingame are up to more more than 3 times as likely to quit the game as players who only see few toxicity. In other word: Toxicity drives away players. Additionally it makes players unhappy which prevents them from spending money on LoL. Thats the reason why banning extremely toxic players is a way to keep the community growing and increase income, not the opposite like you assume. > T.b.h. the chat restriction isn't all that bad, but not a solution, since I noticed in myself I, at a certain point, just stopped chatting all game and only spit out the flame with the few lines of text I could type. You make a mistake that occurs at several parts of your post: The false consensus effect. You assume everbody is/thinks like you. Maybe you didn't react very well to the CR. Okay, this can happen. But you conclude that everybody else is affected the same way....and that's not true. Chat restrictions are the most effective in punishment in the history of LoL. No previous method was as effective. And this is actually pretty amazing and a bit surprising because restrictions lack one of the most important features of punishments: Clarity. Some players don't even know what they were punished for...and still the method works. Thats pretty amazing. > Chat restriction > behaviour doesn't improve? > Chat restriction > no improvement > || Chat restriction with warning of being reviewed next time > doesn't improve? > 100 match review > If a player starts acting out again after the 100 match review, place them in a chat restriction with warning for review state again.|| Chat restrictions already work exactly this way...with one exception: Currently you get reviewed in every chat restriction, not just beginning with the 4th time.
Perhaps not everyone is the same as Kuyichi. There are plenty that are, for whom this method isn't a proper one. I would definatly agree with making a warning system to make it more aware to players why they are being monitored and for what reason.

: Chat/Ranked restrictions (Suggestion)
Glad that this topic isn't about criticism. Cos you're both right. I like Karmoon's addition a lot, since afterwards is the best time, yet in solo queue such a thing is not possible. Anyways, I would prefer to see more thoughts about the topic at hand.

Constructive criticism can be annoying at any given moment, no matter what anyone is doing. So what is your point? That no one should be giving contructive criticism for anything? I don't think that a summoners role during a game, as that is what you describe, is limited to just being a player. Just like someone's role in class isn't limited to being a student, since you'll also be teaching your classmates.
