SPIN T0 WIN (EUNE)
: Well ok, I haven't played many ranked games yet. Thanks for the reply, you could be right about this. It's a team game anyway. :)
You are very welcome. Dont play to rise, play to improve and ultimately you will find yourself in a higher Elo

: Figures that someone called Hoppelfisch wouldn't want Fizz nerfed :-D
Never thought of that, but I dont play Fizz or even like him at all ;)

: Player division should be determined by skill level
Why on earth do you think it is not fair. Score, cs and even more than that, GRADES dont say anything about how useful you were in that game. One time the unskilled player on the opponent team wins, and one time you get carried. If you play better than others (and by that I mean having more impact, being 10 0 and then going on to get caught every single time for 5 minutes leading to a loss is not better than just going 0 10 in the first place) you WILL rise, there is no way around that. Obviously you need to play alot of games for that to kick in.

: "...unless you play the next games worse than before due to the last game being longer" yes thats exactly what I meant. I am not saying it works like this with everyone, just someone - me for example. If I have to "suffer" in 50 minute long game where my team is getting rekt due to trolls/afks/just a bad luck of being snowballed, does not matter really, instead of just get it over with by surr at 20, I will perform worse in next game due to being angry/fed up/tired from the previous 50 minute long frustrating game. Therefore in a long run not surrending will make my winrate worse than 20 minute mark surrending, because after the 50 minute long game I enter a new game with "a handicap", if you know, what I mean. I dont know, maybe I am explaining it wrong due to my bad English :Z.
Or you enter the new game with enthusiasm since you just turned that last game around. I get what you mean though, but then again in my original post I stated: "I'm not one of those guys who never surrender, if the team is 0 - 30, then yeah I will surrender, but just because we are 8 - 15 or something similar I'm not going to open mid, like wtf guys!?" This obviously includes the games when there is an afk/dc, serious troll on your time. Then yeah, go for the surrender, unless there is a chance of the dc coming back. I got used to win and lose games, just as I got used to flamers by playing LoL. So I manage to focus on the next game, rather than being annoyed about that last game I just lost. What makes life alot easier is going into a new game with the approach: "I still got time to play a round of my favourite game, I'm gonna try to have the best fun I can in this game." Also, everyone who even remotely flames (i.e. "gj" after someone on our team died, or "nice farm" when someone clearly is farming badly) instantly gets muted. I don't need this kind of negativity in my game, it brings nothing enjoyable to my life, so I block it out as soon as I can. Nothing useful and good is ever going to come out of a flamers mouth.

: Well ofc ppl in Dia tilt quickly. Its because they expect that their team will be as good as them (solo purpose of matchmaking, or atlast what should be its solo purpose) so if somebody perform really bad, they actumaticly asume that guy is boosted/account buyer/trolls (and this is true in a lot of cases, which is sad also :Z ) and nothing make you more angry than having more boosted ppl or trolls in team than the enemy team has :). Also if somebody goes "gg wp mid open" at 5 minutes with team score 0:5, which is not completly lost like it seems, it is actully lost, because that guy basicly give up. So the game is 0:5 score when you are 4vs5 and that is pretty much a lost case. Also when you see 3 ppl voting yes on surr, just surr it. Even if you have a mathematicaly pretty high change to win (farm on champs etc.) those 3 ppl gave up and dont want to play the game anymore, so again, GL winning that 2vs5 game - its nothing than another 10 minutes of your time wasted. And for those "wtf I have won games where ppl 3 of 5 surr voted" guys - yeah me too. But its like 1 from 30 games like that. So I am sorry but 1/30 chance is not really a good bet for me. I rather same me 10 minutes of my time and go next game which ultimatly give me more wins in a fixed time interval of playing because I will play more games where the odds are not so bad for me (because I will not enter the game after being 40 minutes in a game I described before which just leave you angry and tired and that will not help in your next game, not one bit :Z). So yeah, surrending can actully makes your winrate higher as weird as it sounds :). Simply because mental state of the player matters. Would be different if players were robots. Thats why bots never surrender - it has no benefit for them ;).
Surrendering can not under any circumstances increase your winrate, unless you play the next games worse than before due to the last game being longer. You cant lose a game more than once, therefore if you lose it at 5 mins or at 50 mins does not make any difference in your stats.
