I can't say I particularly enjoy the meta at the minute, it's very regressive in terms of it's limitations of what is viable.

: Let's get to it. P: Firstly, how does that work? Does it damage allies near the enraged unit or around the AoE ability? What about how it interacts with things like Tiamat and Runaan's? Either way, I don't think that has actual counterplay. Counterplay can't be 'just stop using abilities', because that might as well just be a silence you can proc in everyone for free. Q: That would be way better for a full damage build that an actual tank build. 20-40% max health shield in the middle of a fight that scales well with AD and also grants him AS? The LS builds with that would be ridiculous. W: This ability is kind of awful. An ability that only functions if someone stood on top of their team uses AoE is really, really situational and would probably end up like Old Maokai ult (just walk away from the circle he threw down and force a fight somewhere else). E: Holy crap, this is a support tank?! High base damage 150% TOTAL AD scaling along with massive armour shred? I can here Darius weeping. That is way too much power for one ability have. I'd lower the scaling and armour shred, because that looks super abusive in lane. R: This kind of sits on a knife edge balance wise. It grants 100% LS in a huge radius around him (large than Nunu's Absolute Zero), but last for such a short time it could be rendered a non-entity but the enemy just peeling back. And I'm not even going to touch that bonus passive thing because that is square in 'invisible power' territory and that is just terrible for game health.

Counterplay can't be 'just stop using abilities', because that might as well just be a silence you can proc in everyone for free. His Passive is designed to cause enemies who have been damaged by Aatrox, to then cause their own area of affect abilities to damage their allies who are stood in that area of effect. It would trigger on Tiamat and Runaan's by default because they are indeed AoE effects. I would like to point you to my initial design when considering the passive, which is to essentially to either prevent enemies from stacking closer together and also to make them consider the outcome of their action. Counterplay here would be choosing not to hug together with allies, you are going to want to be somewhat distant. This would not only prevent Aatrox from inciting friendly fire on your team, but would also give him a much harder time trying to engage because his mobility is so limited. > Q: That would be way better for a full damage build that an actual tank build. 20-40% max health shield in the middle of a fight that scales well with AD and also grants him AS? The LS builds with that would be ridiculous. I agree with you here and will be changing it so that the shield alone and taunt would be enough, with removed AD scaling. I'll leave it at 1 scaling ratio as 2 was overloaded. I'll leave the shield value from %max HP as I feel it validates good engages with a good reward. > W: This ability is kind of awful. An ability that only functions if someone stood on top of their team uses AoE is really, really situational and would probably end up like Old Maokai ult (just walk away from the circle he threw down and force a fight somewhere else). I disagree with you here. I feel that there is a large difference between it just being a 'zone you don't stand in' to something that you would have to be tactically aware of. Of-course moving out of the zone will help but you'd be looking to use Bring it On or have another form of AoE cc to help sustain the damage caused. Not to mention it's got a good number of applications. You can use it to contest baron/dragon, force enemies to back off and you can use it to help keep your carry safe in lane. Ofcourse it will inevitably suck against poke champions and enemies that are high mobility, but it would be a strong tool to have in the event that you're playing against a melee heavy composition. I'll remove a few elements for clarity and probably try and change it so that if they remain within x units of Aatrox on a shorter duration. This should keep slightly more inline with his lack of mobility and should help keep the damage on a slightly more reliable curve when used to counter > E: Holy crap, this is a support tank?! High base damage 150% TOTAL AD scaling along with massive armour shred? I can here Darius weeping. That is way too much power for one ability have. I'd lower the scaling and armour shred, because that looks super abusive in lane. This is his only direct damage and mobility, and it can leave him really out of position, not to mention you actually have to hit something. Sure it hurts a good deal, so I'd probably look to reduce the damage output and the value of the armor shred. > R: This kind of sits on a knife edge balance wise. It grants 100% LS in a huge radius around him (large than Nunu's Absolute Zero), but last for such a short time it could be rendered a non-entity but the enemy just peeling back. I see where you are coming from here and I'm wondering as to reduce the radius, up the duration and reduce the lifesteal. > And I'm not even going to touch that bonus passive thing because that is square in 'invisible power' territory and that is just terrible for game health. Yeah I'm removing the 10% lifesteal having considered your feedback, but will be leaving the rest of the objectives in for now as a chance to garner more feedback - otherwise I wouldn't be too attached to having them around. I liked the idea and if it can be workable great, if not it's not the end of the world. Thanks for all the feedback and I'll edit the changes in now. Have a chill day. Your leader is alive! I am currently in the process of moving house so I am not really connected to very much interwebs. The guys is set to come not next Friday, but the Friday after! (Credit cards yay!). For now until further notice, I am leaving Doombringer BG and Photos of Ghosts to hold the line in my absence. {{champion:36}}

: I think that the idea behind the champion is really good. I don't always read champion suggestions, but you got me with this one :) However, I'm not sure if she would work out the way you want her too. Her skills classify her as a fighter/assassin and this combination is basically something Riot tries to remove from other champs like Diana. She has too much skills that affect multiple champions (her cones) and all in all, she seems to be a bit too OP. Her passive gives way too much CC (reduction of line of sight) for just a passive that gets triggered by everything she does. Her Q, especially the stun, are very strong. If she's an assassin, she can easily nuke everyone of the stunned enemies in that time. Plus, rooting herself is a big risk for an assassin. Her W looks like a combination of Diana's E and R without even needing a target to teleport to. Her E... Dealing damage and remaining stealthed for one whole second after that? Her R could need a small change to the numbers (it's too strong right now), but it's okay as it is. Giving an assassin one small opportunity to 'instakill' an enemy is just the way Riot wants them to be (like Zed or Fizz after his changes). The possible result of her ult is devasting for the target, but also for Rhea if she fails. That's fair, I guess. Rhea's ult the thing that fascinates me most about her. I already thought about some champions (like an anti-support), that make a champion untarget-/unhealable for his allies and affects his deathtimer. Deathtimers are still unaffected by skills, it would be a nice new ability to change them. The idea of erasing someone out of the memories of his allies is quite unique and you did a good job making the target feel forgotten. My suggestion for her passive is, that it neither works instantly nor stacks like that, but maybe similar to Braum's passive (four basic attacks and the target loses vision and is 'Alone') or Brand's Ablaze (if the target is marked and hit by a spell, it triggers).

Hi there, I am going to agree with you on the W and will change it to a slow. I like the idea that her Q gives her the chance to do nice damage but also means she has to risk a lot. I've altered the passive and I'm going to take a look at changing the W to deal no damage on normal uses, but deal damage if it hits an enemy affected by alone in the dark. Her E is a big decision maker for Rhea, as she has to decide which ability she is going to use to actually use to consume Alone in the Dark, and she'd have to either choose between going all in, or using it to escape; I don't think it would be viable in most other ways. I think for her Q, I'll change it slightly, so that it only roots her, and instead deals bonus damage over time to enemies that are alone in the dark; I think she should have some guaranteed AoE, with optional elements present in her W. That's the way I feel any how. Thanks again for the Foodback.
Gerbie (EUW)
: I like the idea, but the passive and especially the ultimate seem far too strong. With that passive you can keep the enemy ADC from ever seeing anyone else for as long as you stick can stick on them - which seems a bit much. A solution to this would be to make the 'alone in the dark' trigger after X attacks, sort of like Braum's passive. Then the balancing can be done on the duration and you can have a cooldown per target - say if a target has been alone in the dark within the last 15 seconds, they can't be alone in the dark again. As for the ultimate a prolonged death timer is not only very, VERY powerfull - think about it, there is no other single skill in the game that keeps someone out of play for 30-70 seconds. It is also very unfun for the player targetted by it- whooptidoo now I can't do anything for a normal deathtimer + 30-70 seconds. The first part - the erased from the mind part is nice, perhaps work a bit more with that? Like instead of making him invisible, let him appear in a different location to his allies? they might not go in if they 'think' their ADC or tank is in another place than he actually is.
Hey there and thanks for the feedback; the passive is applied gradually and requires a fair deal of commitment to the target by Rhea. This can be fully interrupted by crowd control and can lead to over-commitment by Rhea. I believe that the fact it only lasts aslong as you are sticking to the target, has a ramp up time and keeps her full of counterplay, whilst making her non-binary. It is strong, but only in the sense that you can deny an enemy vision after what is likely going to be between 3-6 seconds. It's only single target. I wouldn't add a reset timer or cooldown to the amount of triggers simply because if you can flash, dash or cc her away then you're not going to actually suffer any vision loss whilst at the same time denying her a lot of follow up and empowerment in regards to the effects her abilities have. I suppose you could consider that using abilities on targets that are alone in the dark consume the buff, but I then you'd have to take another 10 attacks to really feel like you're using her to her full potential which is something I personally would consider unfun. Ofcourse you can deny an ADC vision from their allies, but you'd really have to have bad positioning for that to ever happen or get caught alone. In reality, the situation is far more likely that you'll just be peeled off or disengaged. Janna or Leona wouldn't let you get that close, not to mention the ADC can still hit you. I can see where you're coming from in regards to the passive, so I changed it to a static 15 seconds, I like the idea as it allows her both gameplay and thematic elements of a successful assassination. It removes them from the battlefield. I agree with you that anything above 15 would be crippling and very dull. I like the idea of having 3 seconds of having an enemy completely un-aided by their team, however the fact that you need to have attacked or struck your enemy 5 times with an ability beforehand really makes it so that you're able to just execute a pre-wounded target with soraka trying to save them. I think that's satisfying as an Assassin as it helps you to ensure that you're reaping the benefit of your hard work.

I know that feel, I just lost 60lp because of a triple-afk lineup. It happens. One day it will become the fate that befalls your enemies. That is the way of League, you can accept it and cry about it, or choose to get mad and not accept it and flail like a Vel'Koz.

: Are afk's on the rise?
Literally just lost 60LP in one streak thanks to afk. 3 in a row. >_> First game - Ashe feeds and rage quits Second Game - Swain gives Firstblood and rage quits, with intermittent reconnections to feed more Third Game - LB randomly stands at mid lane turret and takes free harrass from Annie, with other problems with SS calling and the sorts. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt with ping, but 3 in a row is just soul destroying, and MMR breaking :( {{item:2050}} {{item:3070}}

I want to make 1000% sure that everyone is doing great over here before over there. That means reaching a couple milestones: A - I want everyone to be using the website to a decent degree; namely the calendar and chat modules B- I want to establish atleast 2 more officers. They are crucial to Spiritguard's success. C-I want to explore different types of premade play opportunities. The more, the better! D- I want atleast 25 Active members, we're getting their though.

Just a quick check in for those who are wondering how we are doing, Spiritguard has been disbanded due to a lack of interest. We're really sorry to announce this and can't help but feel a little dissapointed. Lol jk, we're actually surprisingly popular! We're in the process of handling around 25 applications at the moment, and have a strong cast of over 15. We're starting to recruit inmatch, not by advertising but our sheer positivty is actually winning us members from matches! Crazy! All in all, I think we've been super succesful so far. I'm really proud of all my Spiritguard and how far we've come since day 1 and I truly believe we are headed for great things. Maybe not Challenger but we will GOD DAMN IT be recognized as the most positive members out there; that is what we strive for. If you have hesitations about joining, let me clear up a few things for you. You are only expected to play 1 game with us, that's it. From there on, we allow you to shine as a beacon of honor for Spiritguard solo-style on the rift. Next, we don't require you to be level 30 or be ranked. It helps if you are higher ranked or have more experience, because it means we can use you to help teach others, but for joining you don't need to know how to auto attack (But it helps!). We play together alot, we don't do it in the usual sense. We make sure to just throw the invite out there, and play matches from blind draft to teambuilder. Not only do you get great IP bonuses but you get to take a lot of the stress out of the game. Again it's not expectation. We're a community for promoting positivist ideology, not cramming it down your throat, just a gentle hand of encouragement. We're here to make your day. Finally, WE DO NOT SUPPORT EUNE. WE ARE SORRY! We plan to support it, hopefully, towards April.

: Hi, I have read through all the pages and completely missed out if you have ever mentioned how would the players get those skins? They should be modelled first. But you can't implement it unless Riot does itself. How can you implement such system? How would you get the reports and the chat logs? I don't think Riot would give out such data... For me those champion skins mean nothing, I don't really like playing with them, so this incentive is irrelevant for me. But still, how would you hand them out is still a huge mistery for me. I liked Riot's mistery gift for being nice.
