: Riot games saved my life ❤️️
Praise for supporting friends is totally not required, but I do appreciate it m8, ty :D <3 I am not smart at all, maybe it just seems like it haha xD But feel free to ask me for advice at any time.
: So i just reworked Aatrox
I think its pretty awesome, I like the skills. My favorite part is how he finally gets to use his claw. Shouldve been like this from the start. I'd only give some more 'flair' to the names of 'claw' and 'uppercut', they need a bit more grimace or something. Good job!
: Happy birthdaaay! \o/
Happy birthday bro :D have a good one. _Wolf_
Meritas (EUW)
: Do not tell me what to tell people. My main role is support and I think that they should at least hear out their team's requests. Supports are one of the easier roles to complete a compsition or fill a role and that should be taken advantage of. Other roles are told what they should pick as well - often junglers, and sometimes tops. If somebody tells you the team needs X-role champ he probably something in mind, or else he wouldn't bother. A team should give its best to adjust in order to attain victory.
It would be ideal.... But it does not matter. You cant force a support player to play a specific champ just to cater to your needs. Everyone is free to play whatever he/she wants to play, whether its 'optimal' or not. In most cases, if you simply let people play what they want to play, they perform better. I'd rather have a support play Sona if he/she is a Sona main, instead of playing a tank support _just because we need it derp_ and fail at it. On top of that, it isnt really fair to force a player to play a specific champ just because of the role or turn. Lets say I am support and I get to pick last. Everyone in my team picks squishy ass champions that wont last 2 sec in teamfights without proper protection (in theory, things dont always go like that), and then they have the nerve to 'force' me to play a specific champ? #$@# off with that nonsense lol. (Its different if the team asks nicely though, in such cases I consider it)
Hansiman (EUNE)
: I can agree with that, but it's not like the mods have to remove content only if it violates the rule that the report said it violated. For instance: if someone is threatening another player, and the comment is reported as "incorrect board"; we're not going to dismiss the report since the thread wasn't in an incorrect board, but rather remove it for the rule it **did** violate. =) If you see a post that's a violation of the rules, and you're uncertain as to what you should report it as; don't worry so much about it. We'll check the report regardless of what you choose.
Like I said below; There shouldnt be an imaginary midway like that.... If its not worth it to report it for harrasment, dont report it at all. Its not spam and its too weak to be considered harrasment. This report was forced.
DELDE115 (EUW)
: Yeah well that comment up there that got removed was my response. Accoording to Hansiman its harrasment but because reporting for harrass is too OP, its spam.
There shouldnt be an imaginary midway like that.... If its not worth it to report it for harrasment, dont report it at all. Its not spam and its too weak to be considered harrasment. This report was forced.

: I wouldnt go far as to say ridiculed, but I do agree that I may have gone a bit to far. But why would you "insult" a movie because of bad graphics... Honestly, that is a childs response. No, that is a typical IGN grading. You know this type, "Well guys that story is great, the campaign is awesome, but the graphics are top of the line, we the IGN studio give this videogame a 4.1" The person gave abad grade to Toy Story, the first ever computer-animated film because of bad graphics. Meanwhile he gave a better score to other computer-animated movies because they had superior graphics with a not so great story... I may have gone to far, but the response from that person was just... It was enough to make me respond like that.
Super silly, I agree. That is the same as saying _its a bad game because of poor graphics_....you for real bruh? Besides the fact that graphics really arent that important, Toy Story is one of the best animations ever...its smooth as heck. For its time, it was great in terms of animation and graphics so his opinion really confuses me.
DELDE115 (EUW)
: Did I really just get notified for this? Can a Mod or someone in charge come here please. #confused
To be honest, you werent simply stating your opinion, you were ridiculing someone for stating his. I think you know that very well. That being said, this is overkill. I dont see why you got reported for it.
: that somebody calls me Chara fanboy , it tells me that my Job is done in this Board #EmbraceTheStab
: My point was, that your thread in no way resembled any form of humour at all, hence why basically everyone thought you were being serious, because your joke failed, the joke turns into nothing when almost nobody understands that it is a joke in the first place.
Only a few people actually thought I was serious, and for people like them (including you) I already put a note explaining myself.
: {{champion:203}} Naked girl kneeling above a dead dude. We can go lewder, if we want.

I lol'd Control yourself, you must!!
: {{champion:203}} Naked girl kneeling above a dead dude. We can go lewder, if we want.
Oh snap I totally forgot that one lol
: In a time where people seriously propose ridiculous things all the time, you can't blame people for taking you serious. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}} Nuf said, what does it matter if the splash has anything to do with sexuality, not like there's anything wrong with that.
I suppose its not fair of me to expect people to know. You are right!
Allosen (EUW)
: Darius too
: Is this the point where I'm supposed to laugh at your "joke"?
If you are not amused in any way, then there is absolutely no need to be here. Thats the beauty of threads...its your choice. You dont willingly eat something you dont like, do you? Again, are you not interested? Dont bother. Leave this thread for the rest with a similar sense of humor. Dont be 'that' guy.
: Sejuani is sitting on a boar. Goddamn pervert Riot members, advertising animal sex in a game. :/
I know, its a real issue ;_;
: Learn to control yourself? I mean seriously, the picture is nothing special XD
: In case you hadn't noticed, she's fucking clawing the guys chest open. If you're that young that you can't control your "urges" do you think a rather sexualised game in terms of champions is something you should be playing? Maybe it's better to move on to a different game.
Sheesh, maybe its better to take things less seriously lol. Maybe it isnt obvious enough that this thread is not serious.
: INCREASE THE PUNISHMENT FOR GOING AFK !!!
Nice one Chara fanboy, you make a good point!
Rioter Comments
: To start off I would like to mention that for the longest of times Ashe has had a very dominant winrate (Think about 53%~), so she is really good for SoloQ, or so the numbers say. I think that Ashe is a great champion for SoloQ, if you can manage anyways. The biggest issue with Ashe is the laning phase, and that's because of the teleport / gank clownfiesta's that happen. I feel like she has a very good 1v1/2v2 potential though, so if people don't come around to disturb your 2v2 you should be just fine, even in the lane. She then has a rather mediocre mid-game damage wise, but she easily compensates for it with her ultimate and CC in general, which is very useful in SoloQ for catching people, initiating teamfights yourself and disengaging. Eventually she becomes a hypercarry in the late game (Easily rivals Vayne's damage) as long as she doesn't get destroy by someone, so if you can just survive untill then you should be fine. I feel like there is one big difference with ashe compared to other ADC's though: she's very reliant on macro decision making and general game knowledge, whereas other ADC's are way more centered around mechanics. Ashe can only do so much in certain situations, so you have to make sure that you never get in those situations. Whereas for example a Vayne with enough mechanical skill can just save herself from said situation. Is it possible to climb consistently with Ashe? Yeah, yeah it is. Then again- up untill ~mid diamond you can basically play anything, as long as you're good enough with it. You do have to prepare for the **** that might happen on botlane, since she really does have serious issues against hard-engage supports and ganks/TP's.
Bless! Thanks for the info, very helpful.
: Master ADC AMA
Ayy, how do you feel about Ashe? I've always loved her (old ashe too) but I always see Caitlyn and Jinx lol (people please there are other adc's in the freaking game). Do you think its possible to climb consistently with Ashe?
Rhasta (EUW)
: Unfortunately, this remains to be a conspiracy, as there has never been any observable evidence nor a indepth research into this matter to prove this as truth. Let's not paint everything with a single brush, and assume things recklessly without knowing all the details.
Seems pretty obvious to me. Saying otherwise would be the same as saying that they are in fact incompetent, and that they really have no idea what they are doing.
: An Ancient technique for ELO heaven!
Wow....I will deffo try this. Thank you!!
Rhasta (EUW)
: I've heard talk that some people believe Riot intentionally creates champion stronger than the current ones at release, to attract people purchasing said champion, before nerfing it to a reasonable degree. This is just a conspiracy theory though, and there has been no evidence to show this. Personally, I'd rather not believe this to be true, and I doubt it is since Riot is dealing with what's most possibly the competitive game controlling the most media and attention at the moment, they can't afford to do something so petty like this, nor do they need to. Just giving out perspectives XD
Its not a conspiracy. Its the truth. Do you honestly think that the balance team has no idea what they are doing? I dont think so m8 :( Thing is, 'perfect imbalance' is an actual thing. Several game companies do this (like Blizzard) and Rito is the king of imperfect imbalance. It keeps the game 'interesting' and like you said earlier, it motivates people to buy champs and/or skins. They have a balance team filled with experienced employees. They know what balance is. They even have PBE and still, champs are released at mach speeds and they almost always have issues (usually too strong, only a few were too weak at release).
: I'll be honest... I don't know S#IT (!) about the game mentioned. MOBA or MMO? RTS style or FPS/RPG mix?
: ? no what kind of question is that? league and overwatch are two COMPLETELY different games, Overwatch is a fantasy fps.. your question is like saying, what will happen if gta 5 gets released? If anything it will make the smallest dent in leagues playerbase which wont affect it at all..
Yeah, people make a lot of assumptions in Rito's favor. Meanwhile, our player base is getting smaller and smaller every season. So.... I wouldnt say that LoL and Overwatch are _completely_ different either. I understand that its a fps but it has classes (like lol) and some of the characters are similar to those of league. Several characters, all with their own backgrounds, morals etc come together to fight. Rings a bell? In the end, both games offer the posibility to play as a specific class, or person/being, and its a team based game as well. Just like league, Overwatch allowes you to play with friends (assuming they have the game ofc) and every friend can fullfill a different role. So I wouldnt jump to the ITS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WHAT R U TALKING ABOUT approach too fast.

: Nah towers are fine imo, they should be weak late game because thats the entire point, you getting stronger. afking under turret shouldn't be a valid strategy
Imo towers should always pose some sort of threat. Its a bit ridiculous how easy it it to take em down nowadays.

Thanks :D And...I got a summary of the story but dang it, not sure if I should share it. Aww what the heck, why not. Maybe Rito sees this too lel. A family (mother, father and child) is having loads of fun on a huge cruise ship. Suddenly, the ship gets surrounded by dark smoke. Moments later, it 'shipwrecks' at the coast of the Shadow Isles. It seems the navigator of the ship made a huge mistake. The people get off the cruise ship in panic and find themselves surrounded by grim looking beings. They were able to beat them, but 5 minutes later, a large, dark being came walking to them, slowly. Without knowing its intentions, they start attacking the creature. The creature fights back, and is overwhelmingly strong. It kills everyone except the child. Later, it is revealed that the creature is in fact a very motherly 'monster' that acts as a caretaker of lost souls, and after the event, caretaker of the child. Years later: _You wish to know what happened to your real mother, do you not? You deserve the truth...I killed her. I killed your father too....I killed everyone at the coast except you. It is all my fault. They came running at me and attacked me. _ _No, you are mistaken. It is not your fault. Fear of the unknown got them killed. It wont happen to me. I will be prepared, always. Dont worry, revenge is not my style...You've taught me to do whats right, and revenge is a path walked only by the selfish. Besides, someone needs to take care of the lost, right?_ The character goes back to the shipwreck and found a large, dark coat + baseball gear that belonged to his father. The glasses he finds belonged to his mother (she bought them onboard), and the cloth that he always wears to cover his mouth was already with him. It was a cloth that he wore around his neck when he was little (which explains the childish theme). Together with his 'caretaker', they look for lost souls to guide them to the 'afterlife' or protect them from harm. It is during all of this that he learns to anticipate and adapt (passive). He uses his baseball bat for self defense, and learns certain skills from the caretaker. To survive at the Shadow Isles is not easy, but thanks to her, he manages. Yo this got dark real quick lol.
: So we finally learned that Armor counters AD and its suddenly called meta and people try it.
- Armor items got buffed - Plenty of armor pen options, but weaker. The best armor item in the game (Last whisper) got replaced with 2 _weaker_ versions. - Defensive mastery tree is quite strong - Tanks are supossed to 'soak' damage, not deal it (not that much). I understand if you think its annoying that people complain so much, but it kinda seems to me like you are in denial. The game is _not_ balanced right now. Every season, there is a new issue and season 6 is no different. There is nothing new under the sun.
: If you were a LoL Champion... Describe yourself!
I would be a non popular champ, first of all, because I'd be somewhat balanced lol. Then my looks...hmm... I'd be a man with a normal posture, a black coat with hoodie, blue glasses that cover my eyes completely and a white cloth that covers my mouth. On the cloth where my mouth would be is a red '3'. No not the number 3, my face would look like (:3) but then with blue glasses. I'd wear black sneakers (sneakers rock) A bit quiet, sometimes negative but mostly positive, saying stuff like _Attachment leads to disappointment_ or _Lets make this happen_. I'd wield a metal baseball bat, but only use it for skills (and crits) + a brown backpack with some baseballs. Auto attacks are done by hitting with my fists, or low kicks. A low range ad bruiser with some utility, moderate base damage and no ridiculous scaling. My _passive_ would revolve around 'learning' how enemy skills work. Simply seeing a skill being used would lower the effectiveness of that skill by 1%, stacking up to a maximum of 15%. Getting hit by a skill will decrease its effectiveness with 3% instead of 1%. Auto attacks are included as well, but those only count when used against me (so getting hit). Simply seeing enemy auto attacks wont do anything. Passive is reset upon death, so building tanky is optimal. Eh thats all I have for now lol.

: It's NOT Riot that banned you
The game is designed to make you rage. So many factors decide whether you win or lose (not just skill). As a player, you have to deal with a lot of crap as it is. If or when a player gets in your way of success, then it gives birth to rage. There is no stopping that. I dont condone raging/flaming. I still think its wrong. But on the other hand, sometimes I understand when a player gets upset. The @#$& I have seen with my eyes... disgusting. Can you imagine that a person comes online, only to ruin your day? Things dont go their way, so they ruin the whole match because _why not_. Or they talk smack for absolutely no reason. All chat is even worse sometimes, the crap enemies say is crazy. I find myself dying and losing a lot with other games too, but I have never raged as hard. Only LoL is able to make me explode. Zero bans though, only one chat restriction for some matches. There is pretty much only one solution. Quitting lol.

But now it feels like its nearly impossible to win like this. Heck, why would I play Syndra if my opponent can pick Lux and blast me away every 30 seconds? Most players here dont even know who the frick Syndra is... Considering the range Syndra can play from she should be able to kill Lux over and over. Take cleanse and she can only kill you when it's down (at least in 1v1 situations) > Why would I play Ziggs when his bombs are so incredibly hard to hit (especially during the laning phase) while other op mid laners have ridiculous hitboxes, AND more damage? Because you pick him for the waveclear.
I wasnt talking about the laning phase, I was talking about late game and Lux her ult (which is anti fun lol). On top of that, Syndra's early game got nerfed so...

Fun fact: That tiny sample represents players who know how to play.
One must ask if skill really matters, or weighs that heavy. If you have a bunch of players in the same league and most of em experience issues with a specific champion, then you probably got a legit problem on your hands. It wouldve been completely different if you put 2 players of different levels against each other. (So for example bronze vs diamond). No matter what champ the bronze player will pick, it is _very_ unlikely that it will beat the diamond player. Now, put 2 bronze players against each other, but let one of em play (insert 'weak' or balanced champ here) and let the other one play (insert very strong champ here). Which of these players has better odds? It makes perfect sense to make choices based on the best players of the game, but still...gotta consider the other players too.
: That's actually a good point concerning the "potential" of a champion. My problem is it still applies changes to the entire community. I'm gonna take as an example console gaming in the 80's and 90's. The games were made in japan and usually aimed for the Japanese audience, but the difference in gaming skill was so big, that games were usually toned-down when exported to the USA and Europe (there are many many examples of this in the NES and SNES era). In other words, the gaming company new that the skill gap existed and balanced around that creating two different things for the different category of gamer, and if they hadn't respected this difference in skill it would have affected the gaming-experience for all non hard-gaming masses. In LOL they don't have this same power since balancing occurs to all elos simultaneously. In this case by making changes around only high elo players, what RIOT is basically doing is assuming that EVERYBODY should play as well as the high elo players, which is a fake assumption, and my problem remains that high-elo is still a minority of players. Concerning that problem with Leesin in my opinion it only underlines the lack of objectivity there is at measuring balance which again is what I'm complaining mostly about. If RIOT needs people shouting "NERF THAT" or "DONT NERF THAT" to take a decision high-elo and Esports players will end up being again the ones being heard since they have more coverage, but once again I think that is an highly directed sampling of what the LoL community is (and therefore not representative).
Thats actually a pretty good example tbh. If I recall correctly, the exact same thing happened with a game called Super mario brothers lost levels. It was actually the 2nd part (so super mario bros 2) but it was considered too hard in Europe and US. So later on they released an easier game, named it Super mario bros 2, and renamed the other game to super mario lost levels (which is one of my fav games).
: Don't give up on playing what you love to play. It's not as difficult as everyone makes it out to be. I main Morde top and I'm planning to hit Diamond soon. If I can do it, everyone can!
: Is balancing fair at all to non competitive-players?
Difficult one. I get your point, but the high elo players are usually able to draw out the full potential of a champion (which is one of the reason why they are high elo). In other words, I think that high elo players are capable of showing the true potential of a champion and therefore, I'd say its a good way to check if a champ is too strong or not....I guess? Winrates are always tricky. Remember when Rito wanted to nerf Lee Sin dramatically? Angels started to sing, players all over the world started to shed tears of joy, but a HUGE lee sin player base was against it. They cried and screamed about it so Rito thought _lel okies nvm_. Lee got nerfed only a little I think. Funny thing is, his winrate was actually quite _low_, but he was still considered a huge pain to play against.
Orthian (EUW)
: I disagree. Season 6 has felt like the Wild West of seasons where anything goes. I main Sion top now, and I take him as an AP bruiser. I got told to "buy real items" when I got a Zz'Rot and Banner of Command, then proceeded to win the game by buffing top lane with portals and minions and roaming in teamfights. I think the "OP" champions right now can be countered relatively easily, as a player who has 1,000 games as (for example) Nasus will be far more valuable and useful than someone who picked up Ekko and has only played ~10 games as him.
Ehm... Sorry for saying this but your example is pretty bad. Using that zz rot portal and banner at the same time is not very original. People do it time and time again, zz rot even got nerfed because of it. Ap Sion? Kudos to you! Zz rot and banner, nah :/ I am aware of the fact that I am not the leading authority of 'original' ways of playing but pretty much all top laners were doing what you do right now, and a lot still do.

: than tell me what i mean :P !
But then I might spoil it for the others ;_;
: my favourite is Chara :} can you deal with it or do you need my explanation for it ? also my Favourite soundtrack is still ''Undertale'' yes it gives a soundtrack called Undertale
Hmm, I think I know what you mean :p
: My favourites are the sp000000ky ones, but I won't spoil you on the names. You'll understand when you hear them. I like them because they're the most complex and I had a bit of trouble deciphering the notes to play them. Non-spoiler ones that I like are.. hmm, the Another Medium - Core - Death by Glamour trilogy. Oh, a thing, as long as you haven't finished UT don't read the descriptions and comments on youtube xD
Well....because of my bad habit, I kinda already know the story lol. That happens so often. I hear a cool soundtrack of a game, I get interested in the lore and I read everything before I even get the game. Its a horrible habit but I got Undertale anyway. There is still a lot to discover. The whole ost is great, but when it comes to area soundtracks, my fav must be Waterfall. I also like Another Medium and Quiet water (so simple and yet so great). My favorite boss theme is the asgore theme. Megalovania is great too, but Asgore's theme is filled with emotions.
: Omg yes Undertale is so cute :3 have you heard insaneintherain's covers?
Now I am here again, What is your fav undertale soundtrack?

Most people dont take tanky champs because the team needs a tank persè, they take a tank because it allowes them to go pretty much full tank and still deal massive damage. Its a very _safe and boring_ playstyle without _counterplay_!! Ok, it was nice to try to reasoning with you, but if we are at the "anyone can pick a tank, build full tank and deal massive damage with no counterplay" point, i guess that's the exact type of generalization that cut any discussion short. Let's see what RioT will do to fix this supposed mess.
Thats just the way it is lol. Cant make anything prettier than it actually is. The game is not balanced right now, lets just wait and see indeed.

: Gud Morning Lovely peeps!
Actually, I am pretty good! Uni is making me 'sed' but I bought Undertale some time ago. Its an amazing game. It takes away my pain a little lol. Rant? I think I'll spare you all. No rant for this thread.
: Old seasons were awesome and each champion had a specific role and were balanced? Right. Tell it to the 100% banned/picked Kassadin pre-rework or Lee who dominated jungle for 3 seasons or LB before the removal of silence. Yes currently some champions are still strong but **ITS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE OLD SEASONS**. Each champion used to have a definite role? so what? Is it wrong for a champ to be picked in different roles? or to have different sets of builds? THATS CALLED DIVERSITY. And when a champion becomes too strong in his role, he gets nerfed.
Diversity is when a champ has several options which is a good thing, agreed. There is nothing _diverse_ about whats going on right now though. Champions whom perform way better when they take a different role? A role they werent even designed for? That doesnt make any sense. How the heck is tank akali performing better than ap assassin akali? Oh and Ekko then?? Just a few examples. God knows this game has reached its peak when it comes to brokenness. This 'diversity' you're talking about went out the window last year m8. Tank builds all day errrday. Dont talk about diversity as if its still in the game. Its gone.
: while i agree with 1dmg+5 tank item builds should not be able to delete anyone in split seconds (or the famous full tank Ekko and his base damage atm, sticky as fuck, he will eventually win if you cant reach your base), the tank only champs like Meowkai+Naut and others like them didnt really change that much and you were probably just going in with just flat AD/AP builds without any penetration or protection on yourself and expected to win, while beeing squishy as shit. And tanks still require skill, its just not the same as some flashy assassins. Which 12 year olds would probably better at playing them than me. Just had to face a full AP team as a tank where none of the carries even thought of getting Maw or something like that, the easiest team comp to counter itemize and we lost all of our fights by like 20%, with just some resists we would have been a fraighttrain. Yeah, it delays your 3 item spike pure damage build, but guess what delays a game til you can win? Staying alive, dealing more damage. Its just that everyone gets greedy, regardless of ELO, and wants to be the hero. No teamplay or even simple thoughts in a teamplay game. There have always been some 3-5 op as fuck champs to pick early or ban and only the champs, but never the fact that the whole thing excists, will change. With all the changes, there are alot more champs viable now, as long as their kit has something usefull and their damage doesnt suck from early to late game straight. The fact that teleporting back after beeing killed by ignite gives your opponent an advantage (which it shouldnt if you shove the wave in afterwards) has nothing to do with skill. Ignite uses no mana, deals true damage, is not a skillshot and is always usable if he cant dash out of range and you didnt use it early. So yeah, targeted spell, takes soooo much skill! You might rethink that one. Teleport doesnt give you any advantage in lane, if anything it helps you keep in touch with exp and farm after you lost your lane! Otherwise its a teamplay summoner. If you automaticly wanna win the game after counterpicking your opponent and kill him once and only think about 1vs1, then this game is not for you. If you are so addicted to this game and havent seen any assassin gameplay from S6 that still snowballed, you are spending too much time in game with head->wall and not enough time reasearching For someone so concerned about the meta, knowledgewise you seem to lack a huge part of it And as someone on page 2 already pointed out, you sucked at that those "faceroll" champs like Graves, which doesnt speak for your "skillbased" game you are crying for.
Sure, a huge chunk of the community quit this game (from bronze to challenger) for absolutely no reason.

On top of that, we have to deal with a lot of broken items too and there is a large group of champs whom benefit the most from these items. > > So instead of 6-7 OP champions we got 20 or more. Thats a lot of fun isnt it? More than ever, players are forced to play specific champs and build in a specific way. Not at all. I'm saying that team composition makes more sense now than in the past. If my team is made of glass because of yet another {{champion:157}} fanboy picking him for the Top to be butchered and i'm the only one left that may pick a tank and try to compensate, i'm not being "forced" to pick a tank because it's so OP, i'm taking a decision from the "this is f@@king a team game after all" standpoint. If most of the players does not care a s@@t about that because they are all divas who would better off playing a solo game, it's not always the game and it's developers to be blamed.
I applaud you for your logical decision making when it comes to team composition, but thats just you. Most people dont take tanky champs because the team needs a tank persè, they take a tank because it allowes them to go pretty much full tank and still deal massive damage. Its a very _safe and boring_ playstyle without _counterplay_!!
