People like to meet other like-minded people. Sharing something, like sexuality or gender, makes communication and understanding easier, it's perfectly human and understandable. I have 0 problem that minorities of any kind meet up to play together, and so you should, especially since it's also open to any other people outside of the "community". In short, I find your behavior hostile and inapropriate.

: Farming as an ADC
Pro players rotate the lanes aiming for the carries to get the farm. In soloQ, whoever can grabs it - jungle taxes etc... That's not possible to reach 10 cs a min in every single game, and most of the time it's better to go down to 7 or 8 if that means proper positionning, rotations and so on.

: Hey MrSisco, Sadly, you can't watch replays from older patches. However, with the new replay system, you are able to record your games or only interesting sequences that you see fit. So, once you downloaded a replay, I would suggest you immediately record the sequences on which you're interested, before a new patch is deployed and therefore, making your reply unavailable. :)
Lack of backward compatibility for replays without any warning of expiration is a huge kick in the balls to the players. I recorded a lot of games I wanted to review, now I can't. This is very unprofessional by Riot and apologies are in order. I suggest you (as a company) strongly warn replays are only available for a single patch while you work on a system to make replays backward compatible and sharable. Instead of suggesting player to adapt to this neglect, you should probably rather warn your hierarchy the feature is not correctly designed for customer satisfaction.

: Cho'gath is unhealthy gameplay.
I've reached 1.1k true damage ult thanks to stacks scaling, having roughly 6.6k hp, numbers concerning cho don't have any real limits so even if I'm skeptical you can reach 1.7k in a classical 40-50 min game it is technically possible to os like this. e/ THATS RIGHT with gorgoyle active he can gain more, i didn't know the combo, amazing
: Is this for real? Are your rly suggesting that Cho is broken? xD Lmao you got no idea of the game then. Cho is one of the most useless picks in the game right now. His skills are easy to dodge , have a bad ap Rating, have medium CDs and he can be kited so easily. Dont know how cho can make it into lategame vs a decent toplaner. The only way he can be played still is midlane vs assasins and there you biuld him half tank half ap so no way to oneshot somebody with 1 spell.
I played cho recently, he's really solid without a doubt, strong lane sustain, good waveclear, his silence is really breaking teamfights, and if he dont properly kill one with ult its a fail. It's a huge pick against most team which are based off burst and/or lack an hypercarry. OP being in dia I doubt you would teach him much about pick usefulness.

: I'm really struggling with Taliyah
IMHO Taliyah suffer the same syndrom than Kled. Her early game is kind of busted, she has great ability to make her team snowball too thanks to semi-global ult, but she falls off very awkwardly mid/late game and doesn't compete there even with a huge gold lead, simply because her kit revolves around small teamfights and no full 5v5 where she lacks a strong damage spike and have a hard time placing her utility. So if you want to play Taliah successfuly, I guess the key is to have someone to feed the gold to.
: This is a good idea, but one thing I would never really recommend any video game to have, make players join other local players from the same city, as this can also be dangerous :) Internet sometimes can be scary you know?
Flawed logic at its best really. "Don't encourage a good thing because it might be possibly in some case lead to trouble". Ok, yea, then probably best not having sex in your whole life since this is never 100% safe. Public meetup in public place is near 0% risk and everybody knows that. "Internet is scary" is something people said in 1995, since then it has been proved that 13 yo and older have enough common sense to use internet properly.
: Great idea! Yes, this would be really good improvement.
There are many others. I would love to see some "LoL dating" when you can present your role, rank, champions, and be open for recruitment by team. When building a good social ground it also help reducing toxicity by reducing the distance between players. A good plan for Riot in the short run would be to collaborate with existing tools and integrate them so they can reduce the need for producing new features which is expensive.
: WHERE LEAGUE SHOULD IMPROVE? (ACTUAL DISCUSSION)
8 - Community integration I'm not asking for like a full social network but it would be nice to have a few more features about community integration : making groups able to hold events and so on. It would be nice to have like also some kind of localized service, so you can find players speaking the same language than you and/or organize IRLs. Of course, it's all possible to do outside the game, but many players don't open anything else than client, please encourage a community experience right from the client. I also hate that when some of my friends change summoners name, I can't even tell who is who in my friend list. And if you are ok with smurfing, then please put in place mechanism to hold several summoners name into a single account please.

Honnestly, "that don't mean anything" is usual looser rant you should never really believe. I have a dia friend who openly admits he is shit at everything else than Darius. I have another one who mostly climbed with old rengar and lb and never played anything but 1 shot champs - even though, he once whooped my ass playing AD kassadin and usually play crit lb when smurfing with us. As a Gold player, and not being able to climb out of there for 4 seasons despite trying hard, having mastered many champions and all 5 roles, I deeply believe they owned their rank with equal merit than I owned mine. That doesn't mean you don't fear reaching high dia / master. By winning I mean accomplish your objective. It's about mental conditionning about game income, not the trust in your abilities. Many many high level tennismen fail when very close to beat high ladder champions. I've seen for example a relatively unknown tenniswomen (around 100th world) lead 1 set to 0 and 5 to 1 in the second to Serena Williams, in top 3 at that time. She got something amazing like 10 match points, and lost every single of them. Eventually, she lost 2-1 to Serena. This is a typical example of someone not mentally prepared to win and which inconciously led herself to loose. Similarly, the reason you do not want to press play may be because you can't handle the stress of the game outcome, positive or negative. Getting closer to high dia or master gives you stress because even though you consider yourself able to reach this level, you don't necessarily consider yourself worthy to wear the title. Do you understand whan I mean there ? It's just an hypothesis anyway, it could be something else ofc.

: How much luck dependant do you feel when you play utility support?
I play Alistar, Janna, Leona, i know i have great great impact with these champions at gold level because hitting a skilled hard cc on a squishy often means kill. I know I ping a lot my teammates about what to do especially when ahead in score since it's more likely i will get credit for knowing what to do. I'm not huge at carrying games, I'd say its more about getting early leads and really locking mid/late game with good roaming and clean dives. Its dumb to ask about "non team reliant roles" since there isn't any especially at plat level. You can be a fed 5/0 top and still loose the game, there is little difference with being a support in a loosing team and being whatever fed carry in a loosing team. > enemy jungle got many free dragons. Do you understand it's a huge part of your responsibility to ward and call for enemy drakes ? Even in case contesting is not possible, making sure the drake is warded make it much easier for the team to position for trading an objective. Probably that if you feel like not having much power it's that you are missing opportunities for good play. Support have a huge responsibility in securing objectives, vision war, catches on enemy jungler and so on, it really goes a lot beyond gank followup.

: Suggestions for cheap and versatile champions in mid and top as secondary picks
Ahri is currently a dominant safe pick, she knows absolutely no counter. You have currently 2 viable classes in mid : assassins, Zed, Kat, Kass, Leblanc, this kind of stuff, or a more mage gameplay with classic Syndra, Orianna, Ziggs, Lux. I love Cassiopea myself. I'm afraid most top tiers cost a lot of IP, but it's worth saving for a good champion you will practice rather than spend on a mediocre one you will quickly give up. 4 matches a day in enough to grind IP in about 2 weeks because of the good ol first win bonus (1 game about 100 IP + 250, that's 850 a day). Even so, I suggest you to try the champs in free rotation before buying, it can give you a good idea about what to buy and make grind much less boring.

: How does matchmaking work right now? First, the system places players in the appropriate pool - which is basically the queue (normal, ranked, solo/duo, ranked 5-man team, etc.). Once in the pool, the system starts trying to find matches, with the goal of creating teams that are both made up of players with roughly equal skill and have a fair chance of winning. Step 1: Determine strength: If a player is queued alone, the strength is determined by his personal matchmaking rating (referred to as MMR from here on out) and number of wins for that particular queue. If the player is queued with a pre-made team, the system will adjust the MMR of the team accordingly. In most cases, we have found pre-made teams out-perform teams composed of unconnected players. Players have a separate MMR for each queue, each of which evolves independently from the others. This means that your wins and losses in Twisted Treeline won’t impact your MMR for Summoner’s Rift. Step 2: Determine eligible opponents: Initially, the system will only match players with similar MMR. As time passes, the system will very slowly broaden the MMR range it considers acceptable. New players get some special protection and are usually matched against other new players, though this may result in a longer delay before finding a game. Step 3: Build a match: Eventually, the system will assemble a group of players with comparable MMRs and put the players into a game. [Source](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752954-Matchmaking-Guide)
None of this invalids the claim the system would work on factors that would result into producing more sprees than a random output. This information is very vague and don't go on details, yet many things on it scare me that it truely is skewed and does not work on a single rating number such as ELO system does. > the strength is determined by his personal matchmaking rating (referred to as MMR from here on out) **and number of wins for that particular queue** > [...] > New players get some special protection and are usually matched against other new players

: I'm leanin towards bloodrazor, mercury, frozen mallet, titanic is a bit iffy especially when trying to secure a kill
If you aa / Q / titanic you get quickly 4 autos near instant, with all the on-hit you have I can tell you the kill securing is very real. Quick calculation, 4 on-hits, that's 30% ennemy health + 13% your health + roughly 600-700 base (from E, W, base AA damage, ult also damages), for many carries in mid game that's 1 shot or very close to Many people see shyv as a tanky chaser, getting aoe dps as she chase down, but truely if I R a carry and he doesn't happen to have flash up he's dead within 1s. Frozen mallet ? Botrk ? What for ? Your target isn't going to live the whole duration of a slow anyway, I prefer to be tanky and fast to be able to reach that backlane.
: o.o i even build shyvana differently ... ghost with red smite... i get the damage reduction in 1x1 and i have the chase with ghost + ult with W ... sometimes i build bork which also grants me one extra slow to catch up people ... my average build on shyv is like this: {{item:1412}} {{item:3153}} {{item:3748}} {{item:3022}}{{item:3053}} {{item:3047}} or {{item:3111}} if i need defenses (build more tanky): {{item:1413}} {{item:3748}} {{item:3742}} {{item:3065}} {{item:3022}} and boots like the ones above
I always always get {{item:1416}} {{item:3111}} {{item:3748}} - situational defense but most likely {{item:3742}}. Got this from champion.gg, works extremely well, and the two damage items is so strong i even get this if i'm 0/5, get flamed and dont care Honnestly this build is really, really powerful (you can check my lolking stats as Shyv) and I don't ever think of changing anything.

: i play top and this is something i agree on, i play riven only, whenever i see my enemy toplaner leshing his jungler, I %%%%in spam my q and autos on minions by the time he comes i already have 3-4 minion advantage and exp, i hit lvl 2 faster and bum he is down 50% hp, contest his everysingle minion by poking with whatever dmg i can, zone him, somehow i always have minion advantage when i get ganked so i ussualy make double kill when someone ganks me.. CHEESE.. make ur self known.. even if sometimes i die, i still got lead and they dont freeze lane xD which means by the time i get back to my tower the creepwave is ready for me to consume.. so easy.. thats the easy part the next and hardest part to focus on is mid game, like the this guy said map awereness is the key to win.. and knowing if ur team is following or not..
Yes, map awareness is very important, as an example I often mid talon, I am able to catch the ennemy jungler on his buffs because I follow their timers. Another example, once my bot was pushing, i knew my opponent mid wanted to gank it, i went his jungle side making him think I went base but caught him in rotation. If you ward deep, you can also for example gank a side of the map, notice the jungler coming for countergank and turn on him instead. Yes I really love killing enemy jungler You will notice tons and tons of opportunities when you know at each moment people important CDs, and how to use the minimap information to calculate what your opponents next moves are. At any time there is 9 important things rotating around you if you position correctly you will catch people off and kill. In silver it's even easier since they barely notice it's a sign of good play (they will think you are lucky to find them there at that time etc.), many of the players won't adapt and repeatedly offer you easy kills.

Despite the fact it no longer reduces attack speed the burst reduction is still very big (and much more impactful than the slow tbh), if you don't survive a rengar under exhaust it's most probably you were too low, too squishy or mistimed the cast. In the vast majority of case, a well-placed exhaust is among the top reason to turn a fight loss into a win. ive never used flash on shyvana lol. everyone says exhaust is better, the rengar bit I was expecting, i waited to get lowish to bait him into commitment, so i could q and titanic hydra to blow him up, so i exhausted him as i got close, he started stabbing the air rapidly and blew me up xD didn't even gget chance to activate q or titanic
> ive never used flash on shyvana lol. everyone says exhaust is better Uh tbh with a blue smite I find flash to be much, much better addition to shyv kit than exh is. Yes if you need to gank before 1st back you will like the slow, but post 6 flash into R/E blue smite is by far stronger gank pressure than exh weak slow. Didn't check high elo stat usage but I'm sure majority favor flash. Safety against invades also being extra benefit.
: Is exhaust still worth it?
Flash is a must have on every champion except shaco and the handfew jungle/tops that can replace it for ghost (heca, olaf on top of my head) I can't think of a case exhaust with something else than flash would be ever correct, but it's strill worth it as a support and against some burst mid (e.g. zed talon). Despite the fact it no longer reduces attack speed the burst reduction is still very big (and much more impactful than the slow tbh), if you don't survive a rengar under exhaust it's most probably you were too low, too squishy or mistimed the cast. If thats how you play janna you are doing it wrong bro You can also engage with proper W/Q chaining, dive, interrupt dashing with Q is also fairly skilled, many many options are interesting gameplay wise and mechanically skilled Also lol at keypresses, "You just have to Q W E R as necessary" = every champion gameplay ever. : I hate Janna.
> tl;dr Need help vs Janna, I cant play around her. Any tips would be great. Kill her when she expects you to all-in a carry. Simply As Janna player this is the kind of play that I anticipate the least and usually ends way, way worse for my team than if my opponent did what I baited him to do. Example I remind was with an extremely fed Katarina, I was with a carry and all-ined me first, knowing she wouldn't kill if I lived anyway You need to do some kind of "fork threats" and make it unclear who she should protect or you will loose. That's really hard to do and that's why, yes, Janna is a very strong support when properly played.

Most of my midlaning goes like this: - Auto the sh** out of cs to get early lvl 2 - Make huge trading/zoning pressure on lvl 2 to 6, hopefully getting a kill, forcing a back, forcing cs lead - Then you start the roam and kill game, usually it goes like, you push your lane, then decide if the easiest kill is on your top, bot, enemy jungler, or if you can simply bait and trap your opponent mid, while roaming even if you can't kill you ward up or destroy pinks, ofc you need very good map awareness to succeed in this phase. - ALT SCENARIO : You are behind as mid, and risk getting killed by roaming. You simply hold, communicate all SS, and pray for the best, until you can become the agressor again - You either already won or need to win teamfights, in teamfights don't go in too early or people will unleash cds on you, just pressure with safe poke on whoever (tanks included) untill you can successfuly make a clean kill. I itemize heavily toward surviving in this phase, getting zhonya on most APs, getting tankiness (rylai, protobelt, abyssal, secular etc.) over raw AP, getting GA early on assassins (Youmuu -> Duskblade -> GA on Talon). Snowball on objectives. You win

Learn trading stance and lane control, here are some vids https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iko2tqmDpJQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cg_OBO14u8 Very simple advices but snowballing hard when done properly Edit : For this part: > where i should be warding against certain junglers It's fairly simple, junglers start a buff, then clean each every 5 min in a rotation. First gank almost always comes from 2nd buff side and so on. Junglers that invade cleanly and gank from opposing side are fairly rare. Some junglers such as Shaco or Zac are able to come from so far off it is fairly hard to stay safe from warding alone. Most of the time, freezing and playing agressively as a laner will help you tell if your opposing laner is currently setting up since you will notice he will keep cds when he could trade and be much less warry of csing without taking damage. Fast backing when you notice this will help you survive many ganks you didn't actually see coming otherwise.
: Tahm kench buff (completely not serious).
> I just kinda think it would be fun to have a frog running 200 mph at someone then upchucking a rammus at them. Righteous glory Dreams fullfilled

: I remember, played back then, they were OP and required a nerf, but at least they had a risk: Devour->You gain god power but you can't do many quality ganks, you stay just in jungle(Played myselfwith Udyr and ww) Solo drake-> Done that with lvl 4 udyr and lvl 2 ww, if enemy bot lane or jungle discover you, it's GG. OP new champions-> Braum, Vel'Kzo,Illaoi were free elo for me since people don't know how to play around them and the dmg was so great. The problem is that they balance the game around LCS, that's way low elo is cancer. I main Azir->Azir is hard-> but OP in LCS-> Rito Nerf Azir many time-> Lucky and happy me haha. Meanwhile Yi, Lux, Cho and MF get buffed In my opinion, everything that isn't an ADC and build crit, every champ that have true dmg in their kit, every champ with more that 2 CC abilities, every champion that can heal more that half of his life, every champion that can deal more that 50% hp dmg on only 1 hit, every Quinn, every Graves, every "garen ulti" type ability or non-skill shot abilities IT'S BROKEN. Maybe I'm just traumatized, but I'm at some extend right. Pro League and Normal league aren't the same thing. The OP stuff that is also played at high level: Shaco,Graves, Lucian, MF and Talon+many other, just watch 1-2 challenger videos/streams and you will see that people play the same champions all the time. But let's don't forget that those guys are challengers, so they know how to play vs an Yasuo or how not to NOT fed a Trynda( last game, fed AF, he was in every lane and insta-killed everyone with 1 crit), things that didn't happen in Silver or Gold(Not even Gold 1 ffs, I was there, teammates also suck, and we don't have enough ban picks in order to ban OP,things that might get fed and counters )
> The problem is that they balance the game around LCS, that's way low elo is cancer. If they don't, LCS meta will progressively contamine the soloQ because people will just watch and learn from the best. High level has to be balanced. This is also a marketting position, of course, that the game is balanced for pro play. Low level too, but the only way that this can be achieved is that some picks are only viable at each end of the scale, simply because you cannot ever make every champion learning curve/team utility equally flat. Many people believe all picks should be viable at all elo, but it's just a sweet dream. That is simply not possible that so many champs get a unique feel and playstyle and each to be equally strong at the same time at all levels of play.
: Should I even mention the 93% banrate on kassadin?
You can, I didn't heard of it. Surprises me a bit, the early being what it is and no particular change to his kit or build were done lately.

Yes there are, but as long as they are not played on LCS they will not nerf them.
I can think of Talon, but not even sure it was the one you had in mind, so no, I don't think we are in such imbalanced state You clearly dont rembember the early devorour ww, the eve dfg, pre-nerfs ez (when his W was debuffing AS), the old fiddlesticks (free abyssal & drake lvl 3) etc. etc. which were waaaay more imbalanced and needed not one but several nerfs to get fixed I see many different things getting banned and many of which are wrongly so, in gold soloQ at least it's unclear what would need nerfing and what is just usual nerd rage about x or y.
