: the difference is that a bot would react based on the info he got from the game/client itself. here you do not even require someone IG, just some auto clicker from windows and you are set. it's completly external from the client so it is quite undetectable by the client. (if it was they wouldn't say bot do not exist) Pre-recording mouse actions on windows is really basic and easy. It's BS really, but that's to be expected on a mod as simple and meaningless as aram. even more so now with riot implementing this new system about XP and infinit and forever increasing level ... i wouldn't be surprise to see many use it at night to grind level artificialy while they sleep. there are way to fight against it but riot couldn't care less. it's aram. **be thankfull that they do not remove it like they did for dominion** (IIRC dominion was more popular than aram curently is unless you concider the "it's new" that aram got at 1st ... and thoses "bot") edit: here is how easy it is : https://imgur.com/a/IK5xrYr as you can see it is easy to setup but it can_ potentialy be detected by the client if the client check "suspicious (stupid)behaviour"_ aka: he click always in the same exact location(s) (something that human _**can't**_ do... ) but will riot try to fight against it ? i do not think so, it's not like they care anyway.

Wow, didn't even know. The solution seems quite simple.. let's hope someone from RIOT gets inspired by reading this ;-)

: they do not, people use auto clicker. in aram you do nto need to chose anything in champ select you just clic twice: 1 to accept the queu when in pop up 2: to run down mid. no bot needed. i still miss dominion, {{item:3151}} (the REAL one)

But is a bot not just an account that follows instructions from a program? Auto-clicker would fall in the same category imo. I prefer the bots that are active in TT, at least they put some effort in it by selecting runes and dealing an occasional punch to the enemy. That way you at least get to enjoy the first minute of gametime before you realise they are bots.

: Hello. If you like playing Master Yi, you should try Warwick. He is very easy to learn, but hard to master - and extremely strong, too. Perfect for a beginner. Now, i would say you should only play pvp if you really want to. PvP is very different from coop vs ai - the game changes, and not only for the better. It is very difficult and very unforgiving. You need to be patient, and if you see players being offensive you can mute them by opening the scoreboard (TAB) and clicking the speech bubble next to their champion portrait. Alternatively, you can write /mute all in the chat to mute every other player in the match. This ensures a much smoother experience. Trust me, the chat is not required to win or have fun. There is absolutely no need to keep the chat enabled if you have no interest in communicating with your teammates.

Thank you very much for your suggestions :-) I'm not quite "feeling" it with Jax so I'll try Warwick next! I'm not that intimidated by the flaming anymore, and noticed that when I keep my cool others tend to appreciate it :-) The difficulty however is quite a big hurdle, when I go PVP I tend to get counterjungled quite hard. If not than it's one of my own team that decides to rob me of my precious xp needed to level :P But I guess I just need to hang in there untill my skill is good enough.

: Well, the answer is quite simple - whenever you feel like doing so. There is no point in forcing yourself to play certain mode just because you feel like it's the right way of enjoying the game. Just remember - normal games are casual games and you don't lose anything upon defeat. Don't stress, sit back, relax and try to do your best. Jungle is actually quite hard role for beginners but Master Yi is quite easy champ _(wich high skill cap so if you start maining him and do so for a season or two, your time will be certainly worth it)_ and he stomps people around low elo/level. Nice choice. Draft pick is good if you can play only two roles since most of the time you'll be getting your selected positions. You can also form premade group with people from forum or discord or from your friendlist and decide wich role wich person gets so you won't end on your worst lane. Expanding your friendlist is good idea overall - you can ask them questions related to the game, discuss builds, strategies or just have fun in normal games. > What would be a good second jungler if I really enjoy Yi? Xin, Jax, Shyvana, Tryndamere, Nocturne, Kha Zix. You can try these when they appear on free rotation. Or just try a champion from current rotation - Jax's free at the moment and Udyr is also a nice jungler if a bit basic. If you want I can add you on my EUW account if you ever happen to be in need of a helping hand.

Tnx for the extensive reply, I'd really appreciate an invite. I actually own Jax so I'll start practicing on him as well. Just played my first PVP as jungler (Yi) and got smashed. Early cj by twitch and zero support when invaded made it quite the welcome into pvp :P Offcourse it was totally my fault that the team lost the game, but to be honest: I didn't quite help the game either.

: You should switch to PvP as soon as possible. Type "/mute all" at the start of the game to avoid seeing any flame so you don't start to feel bad or get tilted. You don't actually learn anything when playing vs AI so the fastest way to improve is by playing against actual players. If you enjoy yi, you might enjoy champions like xin and jax as well.

It's not just the flaming, I do feel guilty if I'm unable to actually benefit the team. I'll start training with Jax as well, and then I guess I'll just take a dive ;-)
