: I know it works for stuff like Kog'Maw's W, not sure about other stuff though.
It reduce Kog'Maw W and on hit damages from {{item:3124}} and {{item:3091}} but it doesn't work against {{item:3085}} or {{item:3153}} because that's bonus **physical** damages But still a good item against Kog'Maw in my opinion. EDIT : To completly answer OP's question, no it doesn't work with Jinx rockets and Tristana's E
: It effects magic damage that happens multiple times... so something like jax R will be reduced by it, as would kaisa passive, koggie W, the passive of trist E, and jax W if the cooldown is low enough.
Jax W is 3 seconds cooldown at level 5, with 30% CDR from Trinity + Spirit visage or Adaptative Helmet, it's 2 seconds. Definitly low enough.
: there is a game made by tencent (the company who own riot ), which have the same rift map etc , i think thats the closetest u u can get atm
Yes, the game is called "Mobile legends", he just said it.

: You make good points here, however i must say that when you want to look at personal information you are way better off going on mobalitics, because it gives much more in depth stats, and for the tournaments perhaps a separate in-game option where you would get an index such as top 5 of (Win-rate)/(Gamesplayed) for each player, they should really add a custom tournament mode... Thx for the input :D
This would be really interesting to have more indepth informations than just top 5 favorite champs. Like for example if a player use less wards than others then your jungler could focus him more than usual, or if a player struggle at farming or playing from behind then prepare a strat with dominant/bully lanes that can constantly push waves ...

That mean you should have played at least 3 games on 3 different champs on every roles before you can start playing ranked ? I don't think this would be such a bad point to force a bit people to play and understand all the roles but this is highly debatable. Very good points tbh, what i was saying though i would be happy if the account had played that champion atleast once on normal or aram something not necessarily 3 games. I get you don't learn a champion in one game but you would atleast have a basic understanding of it.
I think (personally, I have nothing to prove my point) that Riot already debated this internally and gave up because this would create a complicated system with too much rules, for small benefits. > I get you don't learn a champion in one game but you would atleast have a basic understanding of it. This trully depend on you and the champion you play :D I tried 10 times Graves in normal game, and oh my god I still have no idea how to play this champ, I find it way harder to play than full skillshot champs that people consider hard to play. I just can't understand when and how to use my spells optimally.
: First time pick in ranked.
I see atleast 3 points against this : - What about swap ? You can't pick a champion for your teammate because you never played it normal ? - What about counter picks ? This guys picked XXX and have 100 games with this champ, but YYY hard counter him so I have my chances even if I played it only 3 times. - What about autofill ? : i whould like this to, everyone can see your deepest details on OP.gg and abuse it against u. and alot of ppl in anked do it. no one has a problem with it. on the other hand, making a site to post trolls/inters is "not tollerated" cause ppl have the right to privacy. if they have the right to privicy then let us block OP.gg etc. to post our data aswell.
I remember there was a discussion not so long ago on this topic, Riot said they don't like how websites like op.gg are used because players already start to tilt in champ selection when they see they have teammates on 5 lose streak, sometimes they even start trashtalking them in champ selection because of this. EDIT : personally I think op.gg is a good tool, to see your personal informations, or when playing a tournament to prepare bans and counter strategies according to your next opponent, it add another layer of strategy to the game. I also use it a lot when playing soloQ or flexQ, but I wouldn't mind if Riot removed it for that usage.

: Many people claim that "League was way better back then", and we all have rosy memories of the way we played the game in the past, it all seemed so much more light-hearted and fun. But we have to be aware of the warped perception that affects all of us. [Rosy retrospection](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosy_retrospection) bias plays a big role here, and the term "_Everything was better in the old days_" is something we've all heard. --- I tried to replay one of my favorite childhood games some time ago. I had such great memories, but when I launched it again, it really just felt like a completely different game! The graphics seemed way worse than I had them in mind, I noticed many flaws in the gameplay, and even the controls were much harder. --- It's the same with League, you might think that it was so much more fun back then, but if you could actually go back to a past patch, I bet it would get old so fast... And if you gave your past self today's version of League, they'd be hyped to see all the great changes and improvements that we have nowadays. --- --- If you stopped enjoying a game after some time, that's completely normal, but you can't always blame the game for it. League is constantly changing, and even though there are obviously problems, it clearly does improve over time! https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/3/3c/LoL_Facebook_Icon_03.gif/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/250?cb=20161029213427

I understand what you want to say, but I think this is a really bad example. You were disapointed when replaying this game from your childhood mostly because your standards for games have evolved **a lot** since then.

: "smurfs"
Don't worry, the smurfs you are playing against are the worst players of LOL and soon you will play better than they ever did in years playing this game. The elo system make it so good smurfs will only play against others goods smurfs after like 5 games.
: > [{quoted}](name=Koerty,realm=EUW,application-id=39gqIYVI,discussion-id=e5Pe5Z65,comment-id=,timestamp=2018-02-28T05:10:31.680+0000) > > Still looking for it, does anybody know where I can find it ? You just need to play the right champions. Top lane is still the best role to solo carry yourself.
Yes, best role to carry yourself ... in bronze ... because nobody know how to kill this 6/0 riven, at high elo she will just get destroyed by this 2/0 tristana without doing any damages and thus having no impact on the game.
: It's strange that toplane would be called not impactful these days, given that RioT is currently nerfing tanks hard and i would like to know the reason if their trademark lane is not even impactful to begin with...
Because there is too much tanks on jungle/mid/sup ? Not a toplane problem but a tank problem

: > While I admit Joking about suicide is be insensitive and is a big controversy, there's one thing to joke and the other to flame people to tell them to %%% and having someone type it throughout the game as reassurance they should actually end themselves And Riot decided that it doesn't want either of those. Doesn't matter if you tell people to kill themselves or if you're trying to justify it by saying herp derp sarcasm. Riot doesn't want this to happen and bans accordingly. Better think twice when you want to "joke about suicide" > and no one on my team reported me for saying "%%%" There is absolutely no way for you to know this. > Just refer to this thread Or to any of the hundreds of other threads posted everyday. It's pretty much known already that simply typing %%% will result in a 14 day suspension. Just because you thought it was fine and didn't know, doesn't mean anybody else didn't
Not that I want to defend the owner of this topic, but I think this is an interesting question. On the same topic, the sentence "oh my god you are so stupid" can be super aggressive to a random guy you are playing with, but friendly to a friend who just did something dumb but funny. Is LOL ban system actually smart enough to understand the difference ? Should it be ? EDIT : What if you say "I'm so %%%%%%ed" after you completly failed a move ? Should the system just ban you blindly because you used the "R" word ?

Same here, I won 2 ARAM game with precision, it only worked the 2nd time, won one ranked with resolve, it didn't work ... I need this blue essences ffs
: Sadly but understandably, Riots main priority is to make money, as any game companies. What type of player is most prone to rage, troll, and AFK? Impulsive, immature game addict kids. What type of player is most prone to buy RP for skins and other purchases? Impulsive, immature game addict kids. Bottom line is, despite all the complains about a trolling and flaming community, LoL is not losing players and Riot wont implement measures that would actually decrease the income, just to make the gaming experience more pleasant.
You are not wrong, but not totally right either. Actually LOL is losing tons of players on EUW, EUNE and NA servers. But Riot don't care anymore about us, the chinese market is way more important to them : not many games are available in china, and it's from far biggest market place in the world, so they get more new chinese players than they are losing in every other countries in the world. That's why this game is getting worser and worser since season 4 start, this isn't our game anymore, this is a game designed for chinese players ...

: Petition for solving autofilled players who refuse to play their roles
Don't worry riot will do absolutly NOTHING for you, they totally don't care about people acting like assholes, if they don't trashtalk, they will never get in trouble. Just had a ranked game where 3 people decided to pick jungle no matter what, when I was the one filled jungler. Indeed we lost, we couldn't farm, we couldn't gank, this game was just a huge mess. Fun in this game = none Interest in this game = none Worst thing is riot don't care, this guys will never get any problem for doing this. But if they piss me off enough for me to call them "piece of shit" or anything like that (which they are), then I AM going to get banned ? Wtf is that logic riot
