Riot Bolton (EUNE)
: Ragnarök AMA (25/2/16 1500-1700 GMT)
What are you all most excited about for this tournament? Are there any particular players or teams we should lookout for?
: any one else got permanent banned for no reason?(apparently i used a 3rd party program)
**Hello Consantoir, Hello Draggles.** I think Riot Games needs better clarification on what is and isn't allowed to be done to their game files and client. I would like to point out that many YouTubers are breaking the Code of Conduct by using unauthorised third party programs to produce content as a way to draw in views. I do not agree with this as it promotes viewers to seek and use the program(s) for themselves. How would you feel if you were playing a ranked game and your team lost because someone was playing as a [third person Lee Sin](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lORBkCkUriM)? Is there a special agreement between the YouTubers and Riot Games, or is there a loophole that needs to be addressed? Furthermore I would like to address the issue of players being banned when using the Japanese VO's, however there were no issues for players when they used the [Blackinola Announcer pack](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3IRTi6dbvxs). These require the replacement of files in the League of Legends directory and affect the experience for the player from the point of clicking the Login button to finishing a game. Shouldn't these players who are breaking the Code of Conduct and have their accounts banned/terminated? [League of Legends Terms of Use](http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/legal/termsofuse) > V. CODE OF CONDUCT > J. Using any unauthorized third party programs, including but not limited to "mods," "hacks," "cheats," "scripts," "bots," "trainers," and automation programs, that interact with the Software in any way, for any purpose, including, without limitation, any unauthorized third party programs that intercept, emulate, or redirect any communication between the Software and Riot Games and any unauthorized third party programs that collect information about the Game by reading areas of memory used by the Software to store information; > III. ACCOUNT INFORMATION > E. Suspension/Termination. > By Riot Games. RIOT GAMES RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUSPEND, TERMINATE, MODIFY OR DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON OR NO REASON, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU, AND WITH NO LIABILITY OF ANY KIND TO YOU. Additionally, Riot Games may stop offering and/or supporting the Game at any time. For purposes of explanation and not limitation, most Account suspensions, terminations and/or deletions are the result of violation of **this Agreement**, the EULA, the Privacy Policy, or the Summoner’s Code (defined below). Accounts terminated by Riot Games shall not be reinstated under any conditions whatsoever. @Draggles > Any software that does not interfere directly with the in-game player experience between when you press “Play” and the end of game screen. VO mods are fine, they're localised to you and they don't give an advantage to your team. You are declaring two things in your comment > Any software that does not interfere directly with the in-game player experience between when you press “Play” and the end of game screen and > Any software that does not give an advantage to your team Do these two separate statements join together to form a single ruling? For example: A Japanese VO will change the in-game player experience but does not give an advantage to your team. Is this still breaking the Code of Conduct? Also For better clarification what is the Riot Games definition of 'in-game player experience'? Edit: What is the difference between custom VO's and a custom map (if any)? https://twitter.com/TictacShootEUW/status/702810706618556416 Regards, Gary K
: Play-In School: Upcoming UK uni events!
And what about non-university UK events like a [UK online qualifier](https://insomniagamingfestival.com/i57/tournaments/event/league-of-legends/online-qualifier/) to win free tickets to attend and compete at the [UK's biggest LAN event](https://insomniagamingfestival.com), the LCS of UK & Ireland i.e. the [ESL UK Premiership](http://pro.eslgaming.com/uk/spring-2016/leagueoflegends/) taking place from now until April and amateur tournaments hosted by [Clash of Fates](https://www.facebook.com/groups/TeamUKLOL), [Mini LCS](https://www.facebook.com/groups/MiniLCS) and the [weekly UK community tournaments](http://play.eslgaming.com/leagueoflegends/eu-west/lol/open/uk-community/) hosted by ESL UK. Why are you not promoting major UK LoL events other than the ESL UK Premiership? There is Insomnia Games Festival that takes place 3 times a year and there may possibly be other major non-university events taking place later this year. It's very disappointing {{champion:32}}
