: New/Old Client
You can use that option while the new client is in alpha and not optimized. But it won't be that way forever, you will have to get used to the new client. Though it doesn't mean that you will have to play with a laggy client, they'll probably optimize it and it will work just fine.

: This game has unfortuanately convinced me stereotypes about French people are true.
The biggest problem is not French people being really toxic, the problem is that you only realize someone is French when they are toxic, but it happens the same with every single nation. When you find a French in your game who is being a nice person and just playign the game, you probably won't realize he's French, because he'll most likely communicate in English and since he's being nice he won't have the stereotypical question "Are you French?". To be honest, the people I found more toxic were Germans, not all of them, but a group I found once. Does that make every German toxic? No, of course not, since I found very nice Germans too. But if you look at the big picture without preconceptions, you'll realize that there are flamers from every country.

With that thinking i could place 1000 wards in mid lane, doing my normal support routine and get an S. Does the system records the ideal place to ward? Does it record how many champions you spotted? How soon your wards got destroyed? I once saw a velkoz placing a ward under our tower, smart placement? Should he get a higher score because he placed a ward? Too many variables to make it fair. That is my point.
I don't think it records the place where you ward, but if you just spam your wards in unnecesary places, you're going to lack vision, thus making your game harder and probably giving you problems with ambushes and with unseen ganks. So yeah, go place all your wards in stupid places, you just have 3/4 per back, and you can't be backing even 5 seconds, in the end it will make you die more, get less kills/assists and it will be counterproductive with your "higher" warding. So yeah I still think it's fair the way it is. Warding is not just warding for the sake of doing it, it is a really useful mechanic in the game, and if you do it wrong, you'll get punished.

A support can place 1000 wards, but if the placement isnt any helpfull at all for the team should he get an S instead someone who knows how to ward?
It is, it is fair, the actual difference I've seen to separete good from bad supports (most of them, not every champions fit) is his/her ability to snowball the game early on. If you manage to set your adc ahead, then help your midlaner with a gank (doesn't even need to get a kill), roam with your jungler top after you backed to get that top tower early on and help your toplaner, etc. You will end with a very nice score, since you're getting early money to all your team, which makes them stronger, which usually ends in you not dying. : Getting a S on a SUPPORT
As a support main who gets S on a regular basis with almost every support champ I play, I can give you some advices that I think I've noticed influencied on my mark the most: -Deaths, the more you die, the less likely to get an S, this sounds logical, but it is more drastic than it looks at support. I think I've never get an S on a game where I died more than 3 times, even if the score was 5/3/20, I don't. -Kill participation and objective participation, it's not enough to be near the objective, you need to be registered as assisting on taking it. -Vision, you need to ward, a lot, 13 wards (it takes trinkets into account) in a 29 minutes games is a very small amount, you just have to check that you warded the same as your adc (while you had a sighstone). -Extra point here, pinks, you bought 2 pinks in 29 minutes against Evelynn, that should not happen, not just to get an S, but in general. People really undervalue pink wards, while they're really really strong, and every support should buy 1 or 2 pinks every back, and depending on the game and the trinkets of your teammates, you should save an slot for pink wards even if you already ahve 5 items and gold for another one. (For example against stealth champions like Vayne, Evelynn, Shaco, Rengar, etc.) -(Take some kills, it actually helps a lot with some supports, 1 or 2 kills every 15 assists usually makes me get higher marks, but don't tell your adc I made you do it). In general, just improving in the role and with the champions helps a lot, watching at your match history, I really recommend you to try to get used to buy 1 or 2 pinks every back, pinking every neutral objective you are taking is a very good habit.

But sure it would make sense to allow players to unlock gear as they lvl up their champ (summoner icons, custom emotes, maybe even add a special line to their voice over).
Theve had mastery levels 6 and 7 on the client for months, I don't know what they're waiting to use them.

: Are the mid changes in 6.9 gonna hurt the already hurt AD mids?
I've always hear that ad mids are in a bad spot, and every time I read a post like this I just check ad midlaners winrate at champion.gg Pantheon: 53.7 % (Ok, this one surprised me a lot xD). Quinn: 52.2% Talon: 52.1% Gangplank: 51.2% Yasuo: 50.6% Jayce: 50.3% Zed: 49.8% Varus: 49.6% "Corki": 47.7% Corki is the only one with a bad winrate, and although his kind of an ad mid, he's not exactly a physical damage dealer midlaner. Everyone else considered as ad mid has a pretty decent winrate, just 2 of the cahmpions lower than 50% winrate and both of them with less than 0.5% less. Ad midlaners are in a good spot, they might not be god tier right now, but they're far from bad. And even though midlane reworks will probably hurt them a bit, that's not a 100% sure, since it might bring back some champions that they counter, making them even stronger, because right now highest midlane winrates are from anti-assasin champions, Zilean, Kayle, Galio (not exactly against ad's but...)., Malzahar, etc.

He deserved his ban 100%, and you can't excuse years of trolling/flaming/int feeding with "He's trying to improve but people know him and tries to trigger him". Now it's too late for that. The part of Gross Gore is still not confirmed since Gross Gore made a statement that he was stupid by saying that, meanwhile if the case would come in the court Krepo needs to proof about he actually didn't do the accusement. So other players like Kaceytron, Nicktron etc are allowed to go AFK, show their boobs on Twitch and have that fame just because they are in bronze tier? Bullcrap, it's against Twitch and League of Legends ToS but still they doing it. Riot banned him just because he got the fame and he got donations for his plays. It has nothing to do if you have been doing it for years or not. Riot just banned because Tyler1 was just getting donations and taking viewers from pro-players. Statements about that he bought accounts and trolling is not even true.
If I'm fully aware of what happend, Krepo was accused of having sex with a minor, which probably happened in the Netherlands or Germany, and in both countries it's legal to have sex with minors over a certain ages (can't remember which one exactly) as long a if it consent. But since what Gross Gore said affected negatively to Krepo's public image since he implayed that he's done something illegal, all he has to prove is that the other person was over that age and it was consensual. About those people, I'm also against that, but what you have to understand is that Tyler1's behaviours are and should be punished harder the higher the elo is, specially in Challenger/Master, since that level is supposed to be more competitive. Anyone, anyone gets punished in any elo, but it's normal that people in higher elo get spotted earlier and it's more important to show to punish since it affects the game also in a competitive way. Riot banned him because he broke Riot ToU, several times, over and over again without improving in his behaviour. Being a streamer and a higher elo player that makes him easier to target since you can easily recognise their accounts. Although it doesn't really matter what triggered the ban, what he did was wrong, and what he got is deserved.
: I dare you to show me a worse game than mine
It was a long time ago so I won't bother digging into the match history, but we've got fist blooded around 2:00, and in the next 5 seconds everyone managed to die, getting aced right before the first minion wave died enterly. 4 of us died again and we lost 3 towers in 5 minutes, after that, party bot with 2 tp's in our favor and none in their team, we've got aced 5v3 again and managed to even lose 1 more turret in every lane and inhib turret in bot before the 10 minute mark. We've lost the game at 17 minutes with every single turret down and actually trying to win (no one quitted nor afk'ed in base to let them win). We've got stomped as hard that it still hurts me today xD The good part was how the enemy team didn't laugh at us and were pretty humble about the stomp, and anyone on my team flamed nor said anything negative, we've just assumed the loss and carried on.
: Indefinite ban of Tyler1..
I'm not a lot into that kind of things, but what Gross Gore did is actually against the law and a pretty big issue that people should not take just as a joke, it's called difamation, and it's not something people should try to justify. Actually, that's probably intended. Although it seems unclear, champions hitboxes are bigger than minions hitboxes. This makes that sometimes, while you are standing behind a minion, your hitbox is further away than the minion hitbox. So when Blitz or any other skillshot is aimed towards you, it hits your hitbox before than the minion hitbox, even though the minion is visually between you and Blitz.

: Just been called a racist for calling 2 Spanish players 'Spaniards'
Spanish/Spaniard here! I've been several times in the UK and Ireland and I've been called Spaniard in an offensive way. I didn't really understand that it was meant to be offesnive until someone explained to me, that they (at least in that group of people) used the word "Spaniard" as a way to say "stupid Spanish" or something similar. I though this was something that was not common, since Spaniard doesn't have that definition in any dictionary. But after consulting several English teachers here in Spain, some of them told me that in some places the word Spaniard has taken an offensive connotation amongst some young people. Anyway, I'm with you that most of Spanish people are usually pretty toxic unfortunately. By the way, you can check that there is a discussion about the word Spaniard writing "Is Spaniard" in Google. The first options to show up are "offensive", "pejorative", "despective", and things like that.

Though unlike many other local groups (andalusians, basques, castilians, catalans, galicians, etc), I can't find anything about their origins or specifics about them. They should complain on more notable forums than LoL games if they want to fix that mistake. xD
Spanish people or spaniards are the habitants from Spain. Galician, Catalan, Basques, Andalucians, etc. are the nationalities/cultures inside the country.

Those pages try to estimate your MMR, but they don't do a very good job to be honest. They usually show an average account of your leage MMR influenced by the people you play with. I've had changes that big too without playing or just after one game.
Goodnigut (EUW)
: I lost 171 mmr for not playing ranked at all for a while. Not complaining, though still wondering how and why.
Actual MMR doesn't decay by not playing. The number that you get from third pages is not a real number but a estimation.
: Yes, i get your point. But it is a variable that should not shaking that much, after all the MMR the "number" that define where you really belong, more than your rank. So, for that to change i think you need to have a progression of games to re-analyse your position in the ladder. Thanks for the answer. Btw, both games were solo, not dynamic.
The LP gain depends also on your team and the enemy team MMR. Maybe the first game your team had a lower MMR than the enemy team, this made the system think that you should have lost, and thus rewarding you with more LP, and the second game your team had a higher MMR which the system interpretates as your team should win, and thus giving you a lower amount of LP.

As someone who climbed from Bronze to Plat at the end of the last preseason and is sitting now at Gold I with 2 accounts playing only supp, you can climb easily as support. You just have to learn about the game and become the leader of your team, doing good calls is so much valuable than anything else at lower elos, since most people from Gold and below don't know when to do things. Another good thing to do is trying to stick to strong and easy supports. As someone who played TK a lot, I can say that he's very very weak right now, almost trash tier unless you have a god tier adc you can save from strong focus and then let him carry you. Bard is fine if you are half good with skillshots and positioning. And Thresh can be good but most of the Thresh I see at these levels are not that great, me included, since he's one of the most mechanical supports and very skillshot reliant. Increasing your pool with other kind of supports, specially strong ones such as Janna, Soraka or Braum to say some would probably help you.

Don't think you can't, I'm myself a Gold player and I've leveling a smurf recently, my last games at level 28/29 were all against high Plat and low Dia players with some random low level guys, but mostly DIa/Plat.

My main account where I just play 3 to 5 men premade: Gold I Smurf account where I play Solo: Gold I Almost no differences at all, the only true difference would be if you are at a really really high elo.
: If you hit them with Q in the last ~0.5 seconds, it will not interrupt the recall even with any other champion.
This. And if the person has a shield and the damage didn't break it, you don't stop the back since you haven't really damaged them. Same way you don't get an assist by hitting someone with a shield if you don't damage his actual health.
