: >while a person who has their lane ruined is more likely to get punished for flaming if they choose to do so as a result of having their lane ruined. Let's say for example that in that circumstance, the flame is something like calling the troll jungler "son of a bitch". (there needs to be way more flame to make the system to punish someone, but for the sake of simplicity, let's just use that one line) Then let's take another imaginary example of a jungler who keeps trying to gank top, but fails the 3 first tries and feeds the enemy 3 kills. The toplaner then flips out and calls his jungler "son of a bitch". It's not like riot does punish the person in the second example harder then the one in the first, only because of the respective circumstances. They had both exactly the same reaction and the same severity of toxicity, and they both will be treated the same. Same is true for intentional feeders and trolls and whatever else. The thing with riots system is that they are very effective and fair (at least I personally think they are). They just punish people who show constantly a unaccepted behaviour, regardless of the circumstances. But it's important to note the word "constantly". People who step over the line once or twice, but keep it don't do it anymore for the next 100 games or so, they will just pass under the radar and won't get punished. Even people who have a pretty rough week and let their frustration out in-game, might get one or two punishments, but then calm down again and never get reported anymore. You actually do need to be toxic in all other game or troll in way too many games to get any punishment at all. And on top of that, you just get a permanent ban if you still don't change you way. Meaning, riots system actually gives lots of chances for people to reform before it is too late. If that's not just or fair, then I don't know what is =/ For your specific case, it is possible that the Lee won't be punished at all, if the game he had with you was the only he trolled. But the same is true for you. You might just end up not getting punished in that because of that game, if you don't step over the line anymore^^ The thing you should do is, make sure that you can prove to at least yourself that you are better than that Lee by making sure YOU don't get punished! Just make sure to not flame anymore, even when you think that the one getting flamed deserves it^^' I'm not saying you shouldn't get mad at people or something like that. Just avoid unleashing a hellfire during or after a game. Just come here on the boards to share your bad experiences and vent your frustration that way^^' That at least won't get you punished^^

People who step over the line once or twice, but keep it don't do it anymore for the next 100 games or so, they will just pass under the radar and won't get punished. Unfortunately this is not the case. I recently submitted a request to Riot Support regarding a 14 day ban I had 3 months ago for intentionally feeding whilst tilted out of my mind after being flamed. That was the 2nd time I had done so and in 2 years those are the only 2 instances of me acting like an idiot. Riot responded saying they see that offence to be more deserving of the third offence punishment (14 day ban) as I never received any warnings or chat restrictions prior to the ban. Safe to say I now just mute people who flame me when playing solo and have joined a community called Ethereal Gaming where I play over headset with people who actually want to play the game. Feel free to sign up to Ethereal if you are sick of trolls and flamers. 100% games are much more enjoyable playing over headset with a team.

: About deleting Honor stats after getting a 2 week ban.
I agree with OP. It's a shame that it's a punishment too far: http://boards.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behaviour-en/6APJvuqe-feedback-for-riot-regarding-the-removal-of-honor-from-a-players-account-after-a-ban https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/59dbql/feedback_for_riot_regarding_the_removal_of_honor/
: i've came to find out that punishments are based on severity, and also found out that riot does not care who started first or whatever, they only care about weather or not you broke the rules regardless of being provoked into doing so. in my opinion its an unfair system that favors premade trolls and people that intentionally wanna drag others down with them. i seen a post earlier with 3 or more riot staff laughing and joking about a guy losing a bet and having to eat brocoli, its just said to see that those things a more of a priority than the crisis's and chaos like this.
I couldn't agree more my friend. We all make mistakes sometimes and I'm sure the majority of us regret it when we do. Just feels bad to be punished quite severely like this. I mean a perma-ban is one thing - at least you can make another account, but an arbitrary punishment period and removal of all honor that other players have given you is borderline psychological :(

: To the second point: You might see yourself as reformed and maybe you are, but Riot doesn't think you are reformed or didn't see enough of your reformed behavior yet. To the third point: I'm sure you didn't just get the chat of 1 game, it were probably multiple games. Seeing you got a 14 day ban, you must have been extremely offensive or harassing others a lot (if not, I apologize, I'm just assuming this, because 14 day bans normally are given out if someone is really offensive). Meaning you not just made a mistake once and you didn't just do normal mistakes, you did big mistakes. This is Riot's way of showing you, you really messed up, while actually you should have realized yourself how much you messed up.
My offence was intentionally feeding to get back at teammates who were flaming and abusing me over chat. Funnily enough I explained to them why I was doing it as civilly as I could, but two wrongs don't make a right and I ended up with a ban. The point I'm most concerend about (and this applies to others who have been in the same situation), is if it's really necessary for Riot to remove a players honor from their account? Like, lets say you play 1000 games. And in 700 of those games you receive honor from a teammate or opponent. That honor shows that you either played well, helped, communicated or were just nice in general to other players. It builds a picture of what you are like as a player and conforms to what Riot thinks is sportsmanship. However, two isolated instances of feeding while tilted crazy results in all of the honor being removed. This doesn't reflect how you conducted yourself in all of your other games, it removes all of the positives from your account and resets you to zero. It just feels like a wee bit too overboard :/
: The first point is pretty easy to explain: When your behaviour is really bad it is possible to skip the first to punishments and go directly into a 14-day suspension or even a permabann.
Thanks for this. Riot responded and said the same thing so I am happy my first question was answered.

: perhaps, the following post can help you with that issue. please don't take it that i do not want to write to you, but i think that the following post can give you an insight on this issue and i wrote it just a few mins ago :D http://boards.euw.leagueoflegends.com/de/c/player-behaviour-en/FsfyI7Pj-help-me?comment=0005
@BlackBird1990 - I'm in the same boat my friend. I got a 14 day suspension yesterday for reacting to a toxic flame fire with fire and it got me nowhere. it's safe to say the best thing to do for now is support those who are being flamed and report the flamer. Eventually the system may become more like competetive sport where punishments for that sort of behaviour are immediate and not just an after thought... althought that may be difficult to implement correctly. @ThisOneDiesALot - It's nice to see you're actively trying to help players by sharing your thoughts on this issue. It's reassuring :) Keep up the good work.
