I get that, but what if you're MMR is normal, and you play exceptional as well as a couple others on your team, you try your hardest to make up for the feeders, but its not enough. I've seen some players who can only be said as having questionable MMR's when i'm paired with them.

I started the season bronze 4, dropped to 5 and slowly climbed up to b1. got to 100 LP a couple of times and every since then like 8/10 of my losses has been due to trolls, flamers, afk, inters. I used to maybe lose 2 or 3 games in a row tthen win like 4 or 5 and keep climbing. I've just finished like 7 or 8 game loss streak and due to all these players have been shoved back to b5 again. Riot should have a better system to detect trolls and afkers and implement a soft-loss or a loss-prevent if a team loses due to unbalanced team numbers. I can honestly say in the last month i've probably reported over 100 people for this behaviour and not once have I received a notice telling me the report caused action to be taken. Riot don't seem to care about people trolling or throwing games, only flamers. I worked hard just to get out of b4/5 the first time and i get it all ruined because of these people? And honestly i'm being generous calling them 'people'. Hardly a fair system. Sure I have my bad games where I don't do amazingly well, but most my losses I do really well and so does maybe 1 other player, but it's not always possible to 1v9 or 2v8 even at bronze/silver.

Combined with {{item:3089}} that's a hell of a lot of AP from 2 items. At that point against assassins you can afford to get {{item:3157}} and {{item:3102}} with your normal {{item:3020}} and another mpen item.

Same concept applies. Someone could simply have a very bad game or get camped early on and die constantly. I've seen games where i've been in a bad matchup and the jungler gets to my lane 3 times in quick succession and i die early costing us the game. If this feature was in place, id get voted out for a single bad game

This would just result in toxic gameplay from the other players. Imagine you're in aram with 4 bots on your team. How are you meant to implement this vote? Imagine you're in aram with no bots, but you die 5 times in quick succession and everyone else kicks you out for it. See where i'm going with this?

This would never work. All that'd happen here is 1 person plays a game particularly bad and does by some miracle die a few times in the start of the game, so the other players vote to have him evicted for 'feeding'. You also then have to consider that you'd have to have substitute players waiting to take that particular position and champion, when there is already the autofill system which puts us in roles we might not be comfortable with.

If you're going to use a text based captcha that relies on maths, then technically the bot wouldn't even have to get through any firewalls, since the bot would just find the question and calculate the answer itself. If they used something that is considered general knowledge and uses text, bots can then be programmed to get the question and simply google the answer. As swampert919 said, the battle between botters and anti-botters will go on forever. I've actually seen a game where the developers of the game announced that bots were allowed because it kept the regular players playing, made new players easier to learn and it brought them in a ton more money because it was the botters making money selling accounts that then spent thousands every month when a new server opened. Yes, this is a completely different game to League but that just shows how bad it got. Even if you look at Runescape, a few years ago, they had what was known as a huge nuke on bots. Many bot systems then stopped creating bots and just became fansites. There are indeed less bots on runescape, but bots still exist in the game. Back when bots were rampant there was regularly 200,000+ players online at any one time, and no one ever chatted in public chat because no one ever answered. Now you see alot more socialising because there are less bots, and on average i've seen 70-80k players now. While that may seem like a loss to Jagex, they actually make more money because the real players are willing to spend money for memberships and other in-game cosmetics etc, simply because their gaming experience is not being destroyed by hundreds of bots everywhere.

You're forgetting a little problem with your "stopping the bot programs" solution. Riot is the developer of league. Elsewhere there is developers of these bots. As riot improves its bot catching, the bot developers improve the bots to dodge it. It's a never ending cycle. I honestly cannot think of 1 popular online game where there are no bots. Runescape, Evony, WoW.. it's going to happen. all you can do is file a report.

I posted the same thing, but it started in 7.16 for me. I knew there was works due in my area on the internet cables, but they finished before 7.17 came out and i'm still experiencing it. Even without doing anything, I get the random game where i sit on 30-33ms ping, then suddenly it'll keep jumping around between 90-300 and it makes it very hard to play with.

I actually learned the game in unlocked mode, but purely due to the fact it was a friend who got my into this game, and he kept going on about map awareness, checking whats going on elsewhere etc. I admit, it can be frustrating tryin to keep up with camera movement especially if the enemy is right on the edge of your screen, but I also use the arrows to move my camera rather than moving the mouse. Is it possible to set a key like if I press the mouse wheel, it'll lock the camera and move it whatever direction I move the mouse? Might be another idea to implement if it isn't there already as a lot of games have this and a lot of players will be used to this kind of camera movement.

I'm usually the same. I used to suck at support and jungle and always asked to swap, just saying that I sucked at those roles. Eventually I just started playing them, but still informing my team I'm not very good at them, till I got to the point I can play them adequately to get by. If someone starts to be a complete idiot because you say no to a swap, then proceeds to troll, well we usually just try that much harder and stop that troll from making us deliberately lose.

Personally I don't always honor a premade teammate if we're not in a group of 5. I'll honor whoever I feel did best in the game. If my premade is 0/3/17 as support and midlaner is 1/15/1 then yes I'll honor my premade. If the premade was the mid laner, and support got same score I'd honor support, or anyone else I felt done rreally well.

When this happens in MOBA or other multiplayer games (including FPS) it'll be like chess where you're constantly trying to beat the best computer. I do see the value in it for training though. You start out level 1, have a bot level specifically for your level, and as you do better in fights it gets better, makes better decisions to the point it's playing like a real person, eventually a pro. This pushes you to become better yourself. IF this came into the game, I personally think it would have to be a separate training mode where you can invite people to play at YOUR bots level (ie all enemy bots are hosts level of skill) or you have bots at your level on your team. But then, why not just play pvp? Your solo MMR increases/decreases depending how you're doing so theoretically you should be improving and playing against harder players anyway (play lv30 for a few weeks, make a new acc get to lv3 and go pvp on it. You'll notice you'll smash [smurf]) forcing you to improve. If you don't your rating drops and you get the easier players again, but not as easy as before till you go back up again. I've noticed I can go on a 20 game winning streak, then get slaughtered for 30 before goin on a streak again.

I've had this happen a few times when getting new champions. It all depends on your opponent in lane. I recently started renekton, and my very first game was something like 3/17/12 and the enemy was giving me tips on combos then congratulating me when I won a fight. The next game I went 9/2/6 or somethin an ended up winning that game, again the enemy congratulated me on playing with a new champ. The way I see it, if you act all smug cause your winning a lane, your gonna get it tight from the enemy etc. If you do well or do bad, have a reason (explain it's a new champ) and most people are more understanding in the situation. I main Jax and quite a few times ended up vs a Jax in lane and squishing them hard cos I know how he is played and howto beat him, but at the same time I have added a few people as friends because of it and gave them tips on playing jax.

I've wondered about this too. I got an A+ on talon with a friend in premade getting an S so I got a chest. Then I got an S- but the season highest hasn't changed. I done the same thing with Jax (sat with A+ for ages and got a chest from premade), but it updated as soon as I got my S-. I also have champions where I've played games, received grades at end of game and not showing on my champion stats (still says N/A on season highest)

Even so every other person in that game had played at least almost 200 games or more, giving them majorly more game time experience. I'd expect them to be doing much better (in fact we lost that game). Same if I came upon a gold player, i'd expect them to do really well against players at my level.

Keep in mind that while they say there is a 50% chance per orb opening, buying more won't increase your chances. You are just as likely to get it on the first as never get it at all as every individual orb will have it's own 50% chance. You could be really unlucky and get bad side of the chance every time.

an easy way to work out how many bots there are is look at who joined the lobby at champ select. those are the real people. the ones who didnt come up in the lobby chat as joined the lobby, are bots.
