: Any idea what I should build to counter 500 true damage and 1000 ad/magic damage a second from master yi?
Well thornmail+tabi's if you're tanky are the items that come to mind. As a general advice against master yii, he has low pressure early game, so strong laners + strong early game jungler should be strong against him. Failing the early game, all you have left is CC, since now he builds sorta tanky and has damage reduction from his W and invulnerability from his Q he can be a real pain to deal with. No much you can do but try to stick together as 5 and try to CC and burst him down. In the prototype of the site I had a function to search for builds that won against a certain champion, I guess that'd be useful when trying to learn how to play against a specific champion, I'll look into adding it back. I took it off cause cause it was kinda confusing and I wanted to focus on getting one thing done well first. But your post reminded me of how valuable it can be. Thanks for the idea!

: Just what the game needs, another how-to-build site which then becomes mainstream, completely ignoring what enemies you face at any given time... On a positive side though, things can't get any worse in low elo.
Well in my defense, now the build guides show both team comps, and make the enemy laner pretty clear. So it's not a "build this always" kinda thing. You can also see that for most champions there's a lot of different builds, trying to understand why the builds are different with/against different team comps/enemies is a good way to learn. I use it as a reference, I don't blindly follow it, and that's how I expect more experienced players to use it.
: that yellow is terrible, make it a light blueish color that doesnt look like mustard. the champions are not in alphabetical order, i can only speculate why not, they seem to be completely random order. i am absolutely positive https://www.highelobuilds.com/champions/annie/builds/02 that at no point in this build were there 2 morellonomicons at the same time bought by annie. http://puu.sh/nLOwo/fc24b360d5.png absolutely positive 2700 gold does not get you 2 morellonomicons.
BlueStr is right, I'll work on fixing it. Thanks for pointing it out.

: it would be nice to know in which tier this happened or how many points that particular challenger has. I like the vesus thing but someone builds according to the whole enemy team not the "versus" player he had in lane They also build according to their team so you could somehow state that this guy built e.g. HP because the rest of his team built damage ( a simple example ) or the enemy had 3 enemies doing ap damage or everybody building MR Also could you add their build order? A person does not only want to know what these people built, but what components they took first, how many gold they had before they went back and stuff like that. If you ever manage to make these things while keeping it simple for everyone, your site will become famous.
Date from the other players has been added. Also added the amount of gold the played had every time he backed to buy.

: I really like how you can see builds and details for specific match ups they've used. Could be more visually appealing, but otherwise, it's awesome and very useful for me :)
Thanks for the feedback SloPro11! I already "hired" a designer(my cousin) to help me make the site a lil more appealing to the eyes. Hopefully she's good :D

Hi Larry, Thanks a lot for the feedback! You can already see the build order: [https://www.highelobuilds.com/champions/teemo/builds/00](https://www.highelobuilds.com/champions/teemo/builds/00) It's called "items bought". The idea to add the gold the player had is really great, I'll try to implement that. About adding team info, I'm already working on that.
: I use lolking. You can see build order, runes, masteries your team and enemy champs and even replay of the game :) example: http://www.lolking.net/replay/tr/369536666
Pretty neat. Didn't know about their match replay thing. I guess what I have is pretty similar, just a lot less info and presented in a simpler way. Thanks for the link! edit: I got something they don't, my website is mobile friendly, so you can learn new builds in the toilet (:

: Hey nice work i like it. Not sure if it is too hard but i wonder if you maybe plan to add stuff like option to preview match in which certain build was used ( like having team compositions there to check, no need for more data just who played which champion ). Lane opponent is there tho. Ty.
Hi there, Every build in the site is taken from a challenger match. Do you mean I should show the team comp for both teams? I guess that would make sense, I'll look into adding it. Thanks for the feedback.

: Neat tool - but high ELO =/= low ELO, and builds =/= skill - Two things I have learnt the hard way Also, build paths need to be flexible and copying them doesn't help in that regard.
That's very true, I wouldn't blindly follow any build ever. But it's a useful tool, you can see the player's lane/role opponent and from that you can reason about how the player chose his early items and from that you can learn. By seeing multiple builds from actual games, you can learn which items are actually "core" to the champion. I just started working on this, so I plan to add a lot more, if you have any ideas of things that'd make it more useful, please do share. About High Elo != Low Elo, I believe you can improve your elo/tier by learning to build more effectively, and by that I don't mean to copy an exact build from some site but to learn what to build and when to build specific items on specific champions And looking at builds from people at higher tiers might help you achieve that. Thanks for the feedback.
: You need someone who understands in-depth theory of league of legends for this website to be applicable to all brackets, maybe 1 basic explanation and 1 more advanced then finally the full explanation.
Thanks for your feedback. As I said, giving explanations/reasoning for building decisions is something for the future. I think it's definitely possible to associate certain build decisions with a reasoning, but given the amount of champions, matchups and other variables in the mix, it's not going to be an easy task. The website is in it's infancy, it might grow strong and I may be able to hire a team and whatnot, but right now I need to focus on things I can do by myself on my limited time and budget. I guess I didn't mention, but this is a personal project, there's no company behind it or anything. That's why it still looks kinda ugly, I'm a decent programmer but not that great of a designer. I'm also a decent league player, got to Plat I last season(BR server). So that idea of creating a feature that can explain build decisions is kind of a dream right now. Something I really want to do, but is still far away.

: This is a good website, thanks. I like the bit where it shows which champ they played against in their role, it's a nice addition to know what to build against certain champs. It's already really cool, would look great with some more work. If i'd suggest one thing, it would be cool to be able to hover over items and see it's stats like you can on other websites like mobafire. Dunno how difficult that is to implement... If it's possible as well, it would be good to know how many games that person played the champ. Would be more reliable to see a build with someone who's played 50 games with a champ than someone who's only played 2. And also, probably put the champions all under the champion name bar, I was trying to think of champions i wanted to see builds for and it would have probably jogged my memory quicker but it's just a qol feature you're probably already working on.
Hi Clewless Thanks a bunch for the feedback! About the items, I'll write it down on my to-do list, shouldn't take long. Putting a list of champions under the search bar is really a great idea, I feel dumb I didn't think about it. About showing how many games a Player have with a champion, that's a little bit harder. I think the only way would be to get all games from each summoner since the beginning of the season, and that's a LOT of data. I understand it'd add value, but I don't think the cost of doing it now would be worth it, so maybe in the future. This site is built for you guys, so anything you'd like to see there, feel free to tell me. I can't promise I'll implement everything, but I'll surely have a look at it.

: you don't get{{item:3009}} on {{champion:4}} anymore?
As you can see here: [https://www.highelobuilds.com/champions/twisted-fate/](https://www.highelobuilds.com/champions/twisted-fate/) There are still some players that build it. Those builds are from fairly recent games, like 1~3 days at most.
ChiTenshi (EUW)
: It's nice but it doesn't show the reasoning for taking certain items in-game.
I kinda want to make an algorithm that can give explanations for some things, that's something for the future tho as it's probably something pretty hard to develop. You can still try to infer the reasoning from the data available. For example this build: [https://www.highelobuilds.com/champions/twisted-fate/builds/53](https://www.highelobuilds.com/champions/twisted-fate/builds/53) Since he's against yasuo, he probably goes RoA first since it makes him beefier, and thus harder to get killed by Yasuo, it also gives him a bigger mana pool(TF is known for his small mana pool) and decent mana sustain. Thanks for the feedback.

: I already love your website! If it is possible, could you put a button saying "details" (or something like that) which allows to see the build order? That would be epic, and make your website really good for this.
When you search you're taken to a page with a lists of the newest builds for that champion, you can click the items to get to a page with details, build order, skill order and more. I guess that's not clear, I will put a "view details" text in the items to make it clearer. Thanks for the feedback!
: You know, there's a website that does that already, champion.gg, and you also have ProBuilds...so..... ye, redundant stuff ftw :P
Hi HomerJ20, Thanks for the feedback! Champion.gg is about statistics, while HighEloBuilds shows data from specific matches. It's really not the same. About ProBuilds, it does have some similarity, but it's definitely not the same. ProBuilds shows games from famous players while my website takes data from challenger games. So if you're an anonymous diamond player that performed well and won against/with challenger players, your build might be on my website. I actually first started creating this website cause I was not satisfied with ProBuilds to check for builds for champions I'm trying to learn. So, if you're into esports and wanna see what your favorite player builds, ProBuilds is for you. But if you just want to learn about how a certain champion is played at high levels of play, I guess my website is the superior option.
