: Since I've just had the classic _breastfed til he was 25 autist_ in a game, my tone may be off (Hoping you ban that prick btw Rito)..! People don't just get randomly hacked, especially not for something with 0 value like a league account. You either shared your information and now try to tumphet your innocence (Yes, I see quite a lot of people bragging about boosting accounts, not knowing how truly %%%%%%ed they are saying that to people they don't know), or you visited a site where you picked up a keylogger of sorts. _And no, you didn't get bruteforced either._ There is no way you can prove you are innocent unless you have a static IP (or they log the ID which I'm guessing they don't since they don't even have autheticator for accounts, but a medival system).
I explained in another comment. I won't go into details, but yeah, my Duo Q partner was pissed with me and he's good at that sorta thing. I can only hypothesise though. No problem for the tone, and I understand, **I don't want everybody to agree with me.** A good dose of tough love helps it set in. Also, sorry about the feeder dude. _They're all too common_ {{champion:103}}

: Ban is fair, I find it hard to believe you actually got hacked tbh... Google mail actually sends a warning if there is a login from a previously unused device, as far as I am aware riot can check your IP on login?(To prevent account sharing?) Just seems like you were scripting or gave your account to a friend who was scripting, ban is deserved.
Sadly was not the case. But that's the POV Riot must have too. Thanks for sharing your opinion!
: The ban stands. You lost access to LOL and didn't report it in time. The phisher and script user got on your account and broke the TOS. You can in no way prove that it wasn't you using the account. My point of view: you used scripts and thought you could get away with it with the "my email was stoled" thing.
I wish. Sadly not. But once again, I can't prove I'm innocent. Think what you like, by all means {{summoner:3}}
: To be fair, in the terms of service it is stated that you are responsible for your own account, which basically means that if you get hacked it counts as your own fault and therefore it being hacked when the exploit happened is not an excuse. It does suck, but you need to understand why they do it like this, it would be very easy to fake a hack to cover up scripts and stuff, and it would take riot a lot of manpower to investigate each individual case. Also another tip, NEVER use the same password for different important accounts.
Yeah, it's just frustrating. I wish I could prove I was innocent, so if you have a clue how, keep me informed! Thank you for your time and participation, I appreciate it a lot. :3
: It is very understandable how frustrating this situation is for you. Nobody like to lose his account because it was comprimised. But I'm afraid Riot did the right thing here by leaving the ban as it is. I believe you genuinely did not intent to have third party programs used on your account. However, if you would get unbanned, players who got their account banned because they used third party programs with the intention to cheat would need to have their accounts unbanned as well. Riot cannot see the difference between the players who intentionally used third party programs on their account and players who had their account comprimised. In the end, as stated in the [ToU](http://euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/legal/termsofuse), account security is your responsibility. Don't take this personally, but I'm think you are partly to blame for this, since you used the same password for your email as for League. I hope you can take this as a lesson and will be more careful with reusing passwords in the future.
You're right, of course. Thank you, it gives me a bit of peace to hear this.
: I don't know where to start.
Well thanks anyways for your time and participation!
: Banned. Is justice served in the fields of justice?
*Just to put this out there as food for thought* I might be stupid, but you'd have to be an absolute fool to buy content on an account you were going to hack on. I paid for content. That's why I'm so ticked off to lose my account. That and the **1000+ hours** I spent on the game.
: Simple explanation; I broke up with the guy I played with, he knew I played. I'm pretty sure he could do that kinda thing in a heartbeat. But I understand what you're saying. I can't prove it. It sucks.
I don't even know if that's what happened, it's just a hypothesis, one of many.

: Seems like a justified ban to me. I don't know if you really were hacked and you probably have no way of proving that you were. Riot's stance seems clear to me though. They ban against accounts rather then players, and your account was found guilty of scripting. Now I don't know you and maybe you're innocent. But I always have a hard time believing that someone would go through the trouble of: A: hacking your account B: bothering to play games with scripts on them just to get you banned. It looks to me like you purchased boosting services or w/e. But that's just my hunch, since again there is no proof that you were or were not hacked.

: I don't agree with their stance on this, though I understand the idea behind it, and still do not think this fair since you specifically **appear** to be innocent.
Yeah, I understand that. It's my word against theirs. But I haven't a clue how to prove I'm innocent. Any ideas?
: That's the problem in the situation. My e-mail got hacked, and my e-mail password is the same as my league. It's my word against theirs. I'm really hoping somebody can tell me how to prove my e-mail was hacked, though even then they won't give my acc back.
As **Absolute Zen** just posted, this was explained in the screenshots; https://ibb.co/d7k8ma .
: how can you prove that you got hacked ? i can script all day and then i tell rito that i got hacked doesnt mean i actually got hacked

: you share your acc and get ban, is fair
I was hacked, i didn't share it. Read the whole post before voting please. {{summoner:4}}

: I've been mulling about it for a good half an hour now but no, I have no idea. Try to appeal to Riot, maybe they'll ask you a few questions AND THEN decide if you can have it back or not.
Well thank you very much for your time and effort, I'll give it a go. If this were a game, I'd honor ya ;3

: >The only other answer I can think of is that the person who hacked my e-mail tried the password on my league account, got in and messed around on it. Here is your answer. I would avoid using the same password on a game's account and on it's recovery e-mail. From riots perspective, it looked like it was you who entered your own account and started cheating on it. It is actually common for people who want to mess up with people they dislike and who, somehow, get access to their LoL accounts, to use cheats on said account since they know it would get them a permaban which most likely won't get revoked.

: Damn, third time I've said it today: Sharing accounts is strictly forbidden. And by sharing I mean: Someone else is using the account you made. That happens? Riot knows about it? Ban, period. Unless you've got a heck of an explanation and physical proof, plus some gold bars I don't think they're going to give the account back.
Thanks, at least that clarifies things a bit. Any ideas how to go about proving it was hacked?
: Dude the information about everything is on the email. But since your email is not in your hands, i guess rioters could help you out a bit.
Somebody logged into it and read my e-mails. they didn't change the password on it. The é-mail they sent said I used malicious 3rd party software. The problem is I didn't. I know, it's only my words, and I'm just a random stranger on the internet so it doesn't mean much, but I really don't know anything about that sort of thing, ~~I don't even know what that kinda software does tbh. ~~
