: I recently got out of Bronze and into silver with so many pleasant matches I wondered if the game truly had been fixed. Not an afk in sight, people really polite. I sincerely thought finally LoL has turned a corner. But no, lol hasn't been fixed. The moment I got to Silver 4, you put the toxic and afk people in my games so aggressively, it's comical. Now you will give me perhaps two normal games, where each team plays ok, or my team will steam roll. After that, you will ensure there's a loss or 4 in a row. I don't get emotional angry or go on tilt because by now I think we all expect it, and I just play normally while people argue with each other, troll or rage quite and I'm sat here playing until the match maker gets it out of it's system again and puts me on the positive side, so I can actually play the game. My gameplay is consistent because simply when you know what's going on, it's very hard to be upset when it is a loss. I just role my eyes and know full well how the game will play out probably 10 minutes in most matches. It will let you get to a certain point in ranked, put your win percentage in a high state, and then you will be forced back down, probably a good few days worth of matches, to keep you playing. Most likely it will drop you a whole division if it can. It just keeps cycling you in a loop. When it decides to put you in positive match making however I do believe you can climb if you take full advantage of the upswing, but you best believe it will come round again. Ranked imho uses players your matched with as progress gates. It has done ever since I've been playing since 2012, and I've heard and read every reason under the sun why it's the players fault who ever posts or does a Youtube video on this topic. Also you can bet any post like this has an emissary in it quicker than you can blink.

matchmaking algorithum is busted. my friend used to say to me dude i dont belong in silver so i watched his games and i was like you are legit good at this game and now hes gold 2 after dealing with dumb lose streaks getting demoted 20 times and he said to me this game matchmaking is utter bs like you get steam rolled like its not even a match is a joke and he tells me this all the time and finally it has had more notice since the pros open ed there mouths and said wtf is going on. legit 30% of players in silver probably dont belong there but its impossible to avoid the trolls seriously !!

And secondly: Frustration is one of the, if not THE biggest factor for churn (players leaving for good), so that is DEFINITELY not Riots intention.

lets gets something straight a support builds item to help the team.... frozen heart is one good on brand vs champions like jax who would none stop focus me 24 / 7 and In a previous game the frozen heart was item that allowed me to kill him with out him land q and w as a one shot every %%%ing game. broken champ..... just like the game vs yasuo were he 1 vs 5s the team. frozen heart at least gives me survive ability plus tear blitzcrank is one good more mana = more shield passive or don't u even realise what blitz passive is.... multiple times I survived because of passive !!!! which allowed the team to get more kills. while sivir was perma bot lane INT feeding the zed!!! your game is BUSTED !!! YOUR MATCHMAKING IS SHIT EVEN FAKER COMPLAINS THATS THE WORLD BEST PLAYER !!!!!!!!!!

: Practice/Custom games can be useful for mechanical improvements. One top tip for example for improving lasthitting is to practice lasthitting without items. If you can lasthit without items, you can lasthit with items. Practice without any opponents, practice under tower and learn the hits (IE: 2 towers hit then AA for melee minions, AA, tower hit, AA for mages, etc.). When you feel a bit more confident, throw an opponent bot in there and try again. As for minimap awareness, you could try increasing the size of the minimap for awareness, but that's just a matter of being more comfortable around you. Pro players tend to actually look at the minimap more than their lane from what I've heard - if you have awareness of your last hitting you only need a glance to lane, you've got your HP and mana along the bottom - and it's then just a glance to the right for your minimap :-) As with anything, practice makes perfect. Try to get used to glancing at the minimap often, then you'll slowly get more comfortable looking at it more often ^_^
