: If Riot really wants money, they should make some small games, not game modes, that costs actual money. They wouldn't need a team of 100 people to work on it, just 5-10 is enough! They already have a world and universe to work with, they have plenty of characters to either use as main characters or side characters and it wouldn't take much resources. Only the resources to pay the people and that's it. They could make a war strategy game using the lore on LoL, they could make linear story game, a survival game based on the harsh enviroments on Runeterra. Heck, the reworked Warwick teaser on its own looked like a horror game! Ever heard the phrase, "Too many irons in the fire"? If Riot wants to avoid risks, then it's time to change the iron into bronze.
Trust me, I get what you are saying and I agree. I truly wish they did more with their universe and lore aswell. I think I can speak for many lore enthusiasts aswell.

I get what you are saying and that could work really well. The problem is that they have been playing it incredibly safe and especially as of recent notice. They don't realise that because of this safty thing they have, they don't see the potential of certain champions like Kindred, Draven, Rek'sai and perhaps Camille. They are afraid of risks as of right now and want to avoid it at all times. I mean look at the obvious skinselling Riven buff. They clearly did this to sell the prestiege valliant sword Riven. I personally think that TFT and the Eternals have a part in this. It is more because they spent alot time on it, only TFT hasn't been heard of for like a month or 2 after it's popularity and the Eternals, well, you might know what happen to that. I think they are saving resources so that they can catch up again but are incredibly desprate for money. That much is clear to me.

It has mainly to do with profit. It makes sense to give Ahri another skin because she is really popular and therefore has a higher chance to get a skin. I mean, Kindreds latest skin was Super Galaxy and that was in 2016. But they ain't getting one anytime soon because they aren't popular enough from what I am aware of. There are exceptions to this rule ofcourse like Dark Cosmic Jhin. Who has a decent pick rate and is pretty popular, but not as popular as Ahri or Lux or Riven 9 (Especially Riven). Yet has a skin so amazing and well thought out, that everyone wants it.

I do find the concepts for Orianna pretty intresting, just like how I like Dark Star Orianna. They do have ultimate skin potential. I get the idea of Brand and I like it, but it would be a better name for the name "Frozen Terror Brand" to change into sort of a christmas/snowball type of skin like "Snowball fun Brand". That way it fits the Snowballfight skinline much better considering he throws snowballs and all. Kai'Sa as a heartseeker? I don't really see why you would in general. It is sort of the same with heartseeker vayne for me, the hunter theme is there, but what is the point of it if nothing else is related to her? I get the irony of the 2 sisters and I really like that, buuuuuut I don't see riot really doing that unless it is an event like the Godking one. That is my input anyway, you can put it in the creation & concepts area but I think you already know that, considering the comment sent earlier.

I do get what you are saying, but I wouldn't really agree. It is mainly because he always wields a gun and is incrediblely inteligent about what he does. Deathblossems to me seem to be more of a hunters/monster type of skin. Creatures acting purely out of instinct more then anything else. So it wouldn't exactly fit Jhin because he isn't a hunter or a monster taht acts out of pure instinct. The game does need more Deathblossem/Deathbloom skins, but a better fit to this would be Cho'gath, Kindred and Rek'Sai. It is because they are monsters and are hunters that act of of pure instinct. Jhin however, could have an elderwood skin instead, but I don't see that happening soon.

I made a post like this before and mainly talked about how there should be missions based on the character and all. Trust me I had the same feeling with Zoe's eternal, I am more curious how much distance I made one shotting the enemy adc, rather then how many enemies i killed within 3 seconds of her e. Atleast the aatrox one is pretty weldone I will say that.

I will say this, I full heartedly agree with you. An achievement system in payment for money is dumber then when they thought Akali's rework was fine when they released her. Remember reworked Akali's release? That was an absolute nightmare and look at her now. Nerfed so many times, but still is an pain in the ass. Back to what to topic. They said in the article that they did this mainly because Dota 2 and CS:GO had similar things going for them. Which is just the definition of an excuse, but ok. I wish they didn't try to be like the rest and instead show why people should even put time in this game, what makes it so unique from the rest. Buuuuuut now with that out of the way. I instead am going to focus on the eternals themselves because everyone talks about the price tag. So that was that.

I left that out onpurpose, because I don't care all that much about the price tags when it holds a beautiful amount of content and perhaps better rewards like a eternal exclusive chroma. All I am saying is (or atleast, if did this correct) if they want to put a price tag on a achievement system, it has to be worthwhile and rememberable. Otherwise it was a half year of wasted time.

It is a forever changing game. That means that there will be many different metas and playstyles. League can't be "fixed", it can only change in such a way that it feels like fresh air. The whole skin thing I wouldn't say they shouldn't, they just need to give more champions some attention. Like Kindred who hasn't had a skin for around 3 years and only has 2 or Hecarim with his latest one being lancer zero and Idk how long that was. Now THAT is what I have an issue with. Oh if you are going to reply with something like "Yeah and X champ didn't have a skin in X years", I don't give a flying %%%% about what champions didn't get a skin in X amount of years. My point is that they should have some attention aswell, they all do, and I don't know which they are.

: Firstly kindred ultra makes sense, they are the grim reaper, anyone who dies both natural and unnatural gets visited by kindred to be killed by lamb’s arrow or wolf’s hunt, if kindred doesn’t visit them they don’t die... so kindred can essentially choose who lives and who dies hence their ult, can’t be killed if kindred doesn’t want it. Secondly when they released they where a very close range marksman (stacks didn’t give range back then) so they needed some kind of strong defencive ability in order to be viable, in this case their out. And finally the ult works well for kindred... they have a decent amount of burst with their E, so they can make the ult work very well for themselves, get someone low, time the proc of the E with the end of the ult, they die you don’t. But most importantly their ult has been a big part of their kit and aggressive playstyle for a while now... changing it seriously affects their playstyle in a big way which kindred doesn’t need, changing it so it’s not defencive even more. ___ As for your idea it’s broken... > Kindred has true sight on all enemies with the Mark of Kindred on them and can attack through true stealth. You realise what that means right... anyone with a mark can be seen at all times, so if you mark their jungler you will see exactly where they are at all times. She will be fine with just invisibilty or camoflauge, after all, she also has a heal, 3 gap closers, a exicution, extra ms buff and a ranged aa. Oh and she is an assassin aswell. They can give respite from them (choosing not to kill people simply put since they are the ones that give death technically speaking) Also, it's not only used to save allies (and yourself), but nothing dies within it which means that drakes, and baron don't die also (which can be great for stealing objectives or blocking a steal since kindred is a jungler. They made it a double edged sword (it can save the enemies) because just pressing one button and making your whole team immortal (Tryndamere ultimate on a whole team, or a taric ultimate without any delay) + a heal at the end would be pretty OP. I like the idea of a hunting ground but putting mark of the kindred on all the enemies is kinda broken. In case you didn't know the actual numbers, mark gives : 75 attack range at 4 marks + 25 every 3 marks + 5% attack speed per mark after using Q. Kindred's normal attack range is 500 which means that they reaches the same range as caitlyn after 13 stacks and can outrange her if kindred get more marks. So don't you think that after 1 bloody teamfight (doesn't matter if you win or lose the fight as long a tons of people die in the enemy team), giving kindred tons stacks would be too broken? Right now, you need to wait for the cooldown, go invade the enemy jungle and kill monsters before the enemy jungler (he can see the marks) knowing that kindred is weak early game. Or do a successful gank with a well timed mark (so that enemies won't flee). Getting marks now is very risky/difficult because of the power they give. But just pressing one button even if you're behind and getting 5 stacks would be too much. It's 25% permanent attack speed and 75 range +1 mark (if those are the first 5), or almost 50 range (1 mark missing for that). Also, giving true sight of enemies in a massive area is a little bit too much. "Massive" area would be something like half the map (galio ulti or something like that). It would mess with the strategical part of the game since you just pick kindred and see everything every few seconds. Having strong abilities is nice, but they should have drawbacks. Another point I'd like to note is about game health : * People can see normally (sight XD) * Stealth can't be seen by normal sight * True sight was implemented to see what's in stealth You can't just make true stealth, then something like godly true sight that sees that, then super true stealth that can't be seen by that etc... You'll just end up in an infinite situation that can't be healthy for the game. Btw, true stealth doesn't exist. Akali just goes invisible, but obscures the vision of true sight. Think of it as a debuff to vision rather than a new ability called true stealth. > My propositions (btw, each idea is on it's own and they are not related): First idea : Hmmm how about making the hunting ground smaller (a little bit bigger than the actual ult), and grant true sight inside it. It's like a priority area where you can butcher the enemies with your teammates and they can't use bushed or dirty tricks. So after 150s you won't be stronger or overpowered. This is to give him more early strength without impacting his late strength. Also, the fact that you control when to press your ultimate (when you know that you can kill that enemy) will make marks easier to collect than marking enemies that might never show up in front of you so you'll fall a lot behind since Kindred relies a lot on his marks but find it hard to collect them against all those early game champs that became popular in this meta. It might give him some breathing room. That was everything I could think about. Hope that was helpful.
This is honestly a really intresting to read. I am aware of the many bonuses that Kindreds passive has and what the ult can do, but I didn't realize how op it actually would be if the prototype idea would be approved and I actually forgot that baron, drakes and other camps could be invinsible. Idea 1 sounds like a better version of Swains W to be honest, but it does sound like fun. Idea 2 sounds actually far more balanced then you think, since it then depends on who or what is revealed, I like that idea way more. Idea 3 is also a really good idea but it is also kind of my same opinion as the I have for idea 2. It honestly gave me some more insight on how balancing should work.

Makes somewhat more sense now that you mention it. But, doesn't Lamb give the one who made the choice some time before dying, like in their stroy "A good death"? I thought Lamb represents a quick and mercifull death, but you don't know when it comes.
: An interesting idea, but just to clarify when you say Kindred marks all enemy champions within her ult, do you mean her passive mark that gives her stacks? I would personally say that is a little overpowered if she can get 5 stacks of her passive with a single ult use. I also think being able to attack through stealth is a bit much. How about when she uses her ult it briefly reveals all champions in its radius and then the first target she hits gets marked.
That might be better, I was salty about akali's true stealth, that's why. But yeah, might be better.
