: But... you have to do all these things as any other role :x
I never said you don't. I'm just highlighting that Support is not an 'easy' role that requires 'the least thinking'.

Roaming to snowball solo laners and jungler, Vision, Vision denial, engaging with high impact ults (Leona R for example) etc
Yeah, and Soraka has a 'high impact ult' too! I've turned entire teamfights with it :D {{sticker:sg-soraka}}

: I've not seen any Support Mains I play with get harassed for maining Support. There was the odd time in the Ardent meta where any Janna, Lulu, Nami, Soraka or Sona players were automatically branded Ardent abusing E-Girls but since then it's not really been a thing. > [{quoted}](name=Get Juk3d,realm=EUNE,application-id=39gqIYVI,discussion-id=Atiw9TRz,comment-id=0007,timestamp=2018-04-16T03:33:44.490+0000) > > I'm not gonna lie playing support doesn't need as much mechanics ( on most of support champs, specially {{item:3504}} ones ) as other roles but on the other hand you need way more game knowledge and map awareness. so I don't know why the hell should someone be flaming you for being a support main but there are some people who think playing support is easy so it might be that. WTF SUPPORT IS TOO EASY DUDE ! Support is a decision making role, not a mechanical role. Most players don't understand that. To be honest I'd go as far as saying the easiest role in the game is Top Lane.
I agree! A good support, coupled with an ad carry who understands his and your mechanics well- is the deciding factor for the entire game! Top lane does tend to be the 'easiest' of the roles, as the focus is usually centered around being the tank or frontline bruiser
: Thanks ; that was helpful .
No problem! Hope you find the role that suits you! OwO
: Best way to master champion mechanics !
I feel that games vs AI is **only** good for learning how to clear minions, or to try out a few builds (especially now we have the practice tool). For actually learning a champion, for me, It's all about reading up completely on your champion. Looking at tips and tricks when you start playing it (so you have those "oh yeah, that makes sense", "yeah that would work well" moments). An absolute must, in my humble opinion, is to find who the best players for that champion are- and watch them. Look at their builds, and check what kind of team they are playing against. Does that person play a certain way in certain situations? What do they do level 1-3? Are they playing aggressively, or do they always play passive until they hit level 3 and immediately dive? At the end of the day, it's all about practice practice practice. With real people, preferably- so you can figure out what to do in each matchup. {{sticker:sg-soraka}}
: I play support when I'm drunk cos for me it involves the least thinking of all the roles.
Yeah, you only have to think about what you are doing- what the enemy champs are doing on the map- what your opponents in lane are doing and could do. What your ad carry _could_ do, when you're about to hit a level advantage- vision control etc etc etc..

: Why are supp mains so hated
I haven't had this experience! I feel like my teammates appreciate me more for going out of my way to play such an underappreciated role. It's those people who understand that Support isn't an easy role, that you're essentially playing with your own character and watching everyone else- as well as majorly contributing to things like map awareness, engages/disengages. An important role! Should be treated as such! {{sticker:sg-soraka}}

: Honor?
Buddy, I've been playing daily since this season began- and I'd say I get honored around 60% of the time. I'm still at level 2 checkpoint 1 :)
