Tóg (EUW) : Another person with know idea why something is in the game, imagine this .Diamond 4+ is roughly 0.5%-0.75% of the player base. Challenger is the top 200 players and masters is roughly the next 1000 players. Diamond 4 and above (because diamond 5 is around 15000 players) contains 20000 players. Considering the biggest skill difference is at high elo lets say 10% of players are on at a time so thats 2000 players. If we say theres an even spread of each role thats 400 players in each role. Now some of those players would be in game or idle on the client so lets say 1/4 of them are in queue. So that would be 500 players. Saying as about half of those players would be diamond 3/4 that leaves about 250 players for high elo which is nothing to queue together with a fair game with balanced mmr and getting everyone their roles. This is why auto fill exists. Tóg (EUW) in > Just remove autofill again, clearly it has no impact To add if you ever watch high elo streams the players are auto filled a lot of the time. Saying that auto fill is a terrible feature in the game and should be removed and not backing it up with evidence apart from the fact that it annoys you is just ignorant. Auto fill has been proved to reduce queue times for the top <1% of players and those players are the only ones the feature effects. The reason auto fill was enabled today was because of latency issues with the servers I believe from other threads and the terrible speed on the client. Go to comment
