: Worst skin I can buy my friend?
Wow guys, I did NOT expect this amount of responses. Some passionate feelings out there. For those who care, I came within an inch of buying him crabgot, then relented and went with a Mystery. He got Headhunter Nidalee. Not bad!

I've played quite a bit of MF and agree she doesn't really have a place in the game as it stands. Her synergy with lock-down junglers/supports isn't as strong as it used to be (league if mobility...yep!) Also, with the prevalence of very aggressive supports, picking an ADC with no dash/jump is asking for trouble, the same reason that Ashe is such a niche pick. The ult is cool, the Q is cool, the E is almost useless and the passive is only useful when chasing/ganking, not running. I'd say her passive needs a rework, I like your stacks idea.

: While I like the idea and I'm all for updating the ping to make it better, let me give you some 'downsides' of giving an estimated timing. How do you know it will be 10 seconds? Is that based on the pathing at the moment of pinging? What if they walk over the scuttlecrab speedup or jump over a wall to take a shortcut? What if they find a ward on the way there and decide to clear that first? So in a way.. you give your ally an estimate information - but it might backfire if the estimate doesn't end up being the estimate at all. In the sense of - the more information you give someone the better someone can make a decision - but if it's false information then the player makes a play based on false information. Ofcourse now you can have the same situation where someone pings that he will be there - but finds a ward in the meantime and takes longer than you thought. But now you don't rely on a certain timeframe - since it's not there. So you have to quickly glance the minimap to see how far away your ally is. Perhaps instead of an estimate timer a better option would be to color the arrow based on distance. Green = Very close > Get ready for that gank! Yellow = Not that close > He'll be here in a while Red = Very Far > Simply a way of mentioning that they're going to come by within the next minute.
> Perhaps instead of an estimate timer a better option would be to color the arrow based on distance. > Green = Very close > Get ready for that gank! > Yellow = Not that close > He'll be here in a while > Red = Very Far > Simply a way of mentioning that they're going to come by within the next minute. +1 For this.
: Why the EU RP price hike is not Riot being greedy

That Riot never adjusted for when the Euro was strong and that we will have to pay more than NA for RP. Both are wrong. > > For the last 5 years, $10 netted you 1380rp and €10 netted you 1780rp. This meant people buying rp with Euro were getting approximately 1.3 times the amount the people paying with dollars were getting, which was about the average exchange rate over those 5 years. **EU was _not_ paying more**. > > Riot are now changing it so €10 gets you 1580rp. This is approximately 1.15 times the amount you get for $10, *which is actually a better exchange rate than what we have at the moment* (1.07). > > This means with the proposed changes, **Euro customers will be getting slightly more rp than Dollar customers**. If the exchange rates change drastically enough, then we can complain Riot are taking advantage of us, but for the time being they are being more than fair. > > Don't believe me? You can check my maths yourself. : Hi! So i am really sorry you are going through all that and i hope that your troubles will pass. I ll tell you some things that i have in mind if you dont mind hear them or else sorry for wasting your time. First of all be happy that he is still around and healthy, he is there for you, he cares about your education, he provides you with a place to consider home. Now think that for whatever reason(it doesnt really matter) he is forced to raise a child on his own, no one has that dream, all of us who want a family we imagine it differently, but this is life. He is sad, dissapointed but he has to survive and as a result life made him tougher, he went through serious life problems so he really cant understand yours because yours are minor and inferior to his. Is he right to do it? NO he isnt!! But this is were you come in. You have to be patient and understanding, you have to show him that these are your needs and persuade him to help you if he can(money dont grow in trees unfortunently :-/ ). You will sooner or later have a life of your own, a place of your own and you will be able to afford the things you like. So my advice is to try and talk with him, try to understand eachother. You have to understand that he is having a bad time right now and he has to understand that you are still a child with needs and inocence. And always friend remember this quote: "This too shall pass". Take care.
Several points come to mind. Parents historically are very fearful of computer games. They see the way you look at the screen (typically rather expressionless, which doesn't help) and it worries them. It's the same way that his father probably saw him watching the TV blankly and told him to go outside. Bear in mind that single fathers are notorious for having problems understanding what's going on with their son (for a historical example, the entire Georgian dynasty in England had famously awful relationships with their eldest sons...4 generations in a row!). You know how people talk about mummy's boys and daddy's girls? Notice how it's never the other way around? Thats because the same sex parent-child relationship is tough. No idea why, that's just the way we are. You probably won't want to hear this but, you're 15. That doesn't mean you're stupid but it does mean that small problems seem massive to you, that's just the way the world looks at that age. At least the guy gives a s**t, it sounds like he has a bad way of expressing it but men (again, single fathers) typically struggle with that as well. I too advise against moving out (though I am not a councillor), try to fix the relationship and trust me, when you hit your 20s you'll look back on this in an entirely different way. **Finally. For a new headset, get a paper round/part time job. Earn your own money. Adults (especially men) have a huge respect for that. And it is great experience**

: > Oh, the no fun part, right...This game ain't fun for me for a long time now but now it went on the bad side (see the flaming part). I used to atleast chuckle, smile, or genuinly LOL at something as simple as a Blitz pull. Annnnnnnnnddd it's gone. No fun anymore, just anger. > > And I believe I know the reason for this mental breakdown and it stems from real life. My job to be exact. i feel you should step away from the Game for a while. Play something different, look for things that are fun, go swimming/running/whatever. And when you start getting your positive attitude back, ask for a talk with your superior. Because being on bad footing (more or less) is really harmful in a workenvironment, even if you are perfectly in the right. (Hell, i broke a similar law in germany a few times and got sent home from work for that day....)

And, also, strangely, whenever I have stepped back from League for a couple of weeks, when I come back admittedly the first game is kinda bad but I actually think it improves my ability. There is a lot to be said for taking a step back. And heck, dude, you won. Not many people get to say "I screamed in my stupid little-hitler supervisor's face and won." The fact that you're so beat up about suggests a sensitivity that can only be good. So happy days, man. Also, you get to work with a robot? Nice...

: Veigar has been nuked
Wow, it's kinda sad that this is rapidly become a "good riddance to bad rubbish" flameathon on Veigar. He was niche already and flaming "omg noob champ" doesn't change that. The idea of the changes, if I read them correctly, was actually to make him a bit more viable whilst introducing some more counterplay to the E stun. Sadly, I don't think it's worked. The E is now so heavily telegraphed that you'd really have to fail to walk in to it, that's in addition to it being a very awkward skill to land anyway (it is, I think, the ONLY skillshot that requires you to land the **edge** of the template on the target). Also the Q "buff" is not a buff. Yes, two minions will occasionally line up perfectly to allow you to get 2ap for 1 q, but this doesn't happen often and Veigar needs to position just right to make it happen even when it does, leaving him open to poke from his opponent. Also, bear in mind that because the Q now hits the first target it reaches it's actually HARDER to hit that one low caster minion, not easier. Veigar was a very niche champ but he had a thing and he did it well, now all that's changed is that he is less good at doing that thing. He's still an incredibly niche champ. He got nothing back for the damage nerf, nothing worth having anyway.

Upvote for chat. And yeah, a refresh of the load screen would be good.

And nobody ever played Solo Q again... Which would be no bad thing, IMO.
