: Earn and watch bug (sometimes)
Yeah, I can't finish the mission "The Grand Finale" I have watched the LEC finals games 3 times over now (both live and twice after) still on 2/3 watched.
: There are a couple of problems with your proposal of automatically ending a match when the gold difference reaches a certain point. First of all, we would have to take scaling into account. A game like destiny 2 doesn't have power scaling during matches, whereas in LoL, one champion may start off very weak but then be insanely powerful later on. I've been in matches where a hypercarry like Kassadin or Yasuo has started the match off at 0/7 and then was able to stall out long enough to the late-game and carry. This means that just because you are behind in gold doesn't mean you are automatically going to lose if you have a teamcomp that scales really well. The second problem is, how do you decide what gold difference counts as insurmountable? 10k gold? 15k gold? Make the value too high and it will never be relevant. Make the value too low and you will be cheating players out of matches they could win. In my opinion there should always be a choice for the players, which is why the remake system has to be opted into by the players, rather than just done automatically by the game. What I have suggested in the past is for a system like yours but instead of the game automatically declaring a victor, it would alert the players when the gold lead reaches a certain level and give them the option to surrender immediately, and this vote would only require 3 "yes" votes to get through. The downside to this system is that players can abuse it by intentionally feeding in order to rapidly increase the gold difference in order to cause the surrender vote.

Edit: Intentional feeding is still a reportable offence, and as we know, first time offenders who get a warning rarely recommit the offence. How about reduce the required yes votes from 4 to 3 in that scenario? The majority of the losing team want the game to end and two people hellbendt on keeping the entire team (And enemy team for that matter) Hostage for no reason whatsoever is no longer possible.
: It was just a simple example. I don't know about Destiny, but in LOL comebacks are pretty possible, specially with new bounty system. No matter you are getting smashed or not. I have done this many times. And in low Elo team leading, ending, objective plays lack, that's why comebacks are much more easier. Remember that with those scores challengers would end (not surrender) the game at 15th min.

: It's that in low ELO, comebacks are MUCH more likely, as low ELO players don't know how to keep a lead, and end the game while they have it.

Oh absolutely! There has been way more games where someone has called for surrender only for us to then turn it around and win in the end compared to ones like the one I linked above. However, in the game I linked. there was no coming back. At all. The enemy were better and it was obvious. 3 people wanted out of a game so onesided it wasn't even remotely funny. 2 people kept us there despite the enemy team having 3-4 times our kills and 2-3 times our CS from start to finish. It was a complete waste of time to stick around yet the majority of the players in the game were powerless to do anything about it (save for the enemy team to win) due to a minority that refused to accept the surrender vote. I play this game for fun, the match above was anything but.

I could be agree with other things, but this is ridiculous. Because it is LOL and you are low elo player, which means the game is largely open to throw as hard as my dreams fall.
I am not sure I follow your reasoning here. No matter what you call what happened in that game, the point is that two players can effectively pin the other 3 players to the game despite insurmountable score differences. And what does low elo have to do with anything? Wether it happens in challenger or in Iron 4 does not change the fact of what will undeniably happen every now and then.
