Byakurän (EUNE)
: I will change your life
That is not always true : {{champion:16}} {{champion:40}} and other highly passive champions can put you in a disadvantage in 2v2 or even in some 2v1... Some champions can dominate late game if they get fed and even win 1v3... it all depends on the circumstances. The worse part is playing with a team that doesn't understand all that, they will shy away from a fight or retreat even if its clear that they have advantage despite not having the numbers which is often a mistake. for example fed {{champion:19}} can easily go 1v2 and win if circumstances allow this: his E and lifesteal allow him to take and dish out heavy punishment when ahead as well as peel with his R and E... but lets say he sees a 2v3 that he knows he can win and his teammate automatically decides to disengage due to the advice of the OP , he then leaves WW to die and probably also gives up objective... you lose game with players like that. To sum it up, its all about experience: knowing what fights and team compositions you can win with. Often I've seen a team of 5 players who go for random and bad combo a champions that would even lose in a 5v4 vs a stronger team composition. There is cautious and there is also overly cautious. A coward who does't know how and when to engage is just as bad as a reckless player.
: My overall opinion coming back after a 5/6 months break !
Yeah the game is definitely getting better and after looking at other MOBA's like HOTS I learn to appreciate its complexity but League still have some key problems for me that are probably problems that are persistent across all MOBAs: 1) Getting frustrated from being matched with players who probably make Joey from Friends look like a rocket scientist.(to avoid using the R word) and then having to have my MMR depend on playing around these guys forever :resulting in being matched with more people who play like that. So MMR becomes a negative feedback loop. 2) A Game is a huge time commitment that requires me to clear a whole hour from my schedule on a game that might turn out really bad, and if my team surrenders at 20 it means I don't always have another 50 min to commit for another game.(also means I threw away 20 minutes)
: Just created a new account... i shouldn't have
If you play Twisted Treeline its bots ... so Just Play Summoner's rift.
: How to punish a troll
If enough people reported him, he might get punished but lately I've been trying HOTS and let me tell you its not better there: Even when the game is a dumbed down LoL and there are no pre-assigned lanes or roles players find a way to be bad at teamwork, picks or be toxic. Not much that can be done about it. In League I've had the message about a person I reported banned only twice, it works, but then what? they probably create another account and after a month they are back at it.
: Syndra R Suggestions
There is already a lot you can do to negate {{champion:134}} 's ult : From taking advantage of its short range to {{item:3157}} , {{item:3048}} {{item:3026}} to shutting her down early etc... I think there is no need for a nerf, if you can't handle playing against a {{champion:134}} I think its a problem with you not with the game. If you are looking for something to nerf, Nerf {{champion:245}}'s ult, that would make more sense.
Tyranitar (EUW)
: Do you?
I might trashtalk out of frustration but usually its just bitter sarcasm at the wrong-doings of someone who completely ignores advice or reason and fails the team as a result. Although more often than not I'd rather just focus on my own gameplay when I can afford to. Getting better at CSing, Playing smarter , that sort of thing.
: Because {{champion:114}} is a very broken champion. She deals % of enemy max hp as TRUE dmg so no matter what she attacks, she instakills everything on her path. No armor, no hp, nothing can be built to reduce dmg she deals. Als you cant outrun her especially when she buys {{item:3022}}. But fiora only kills in hand of idiot because idiot doesent know what he does so is hard to predict what fiora will do and when you cant predict that, youa re damned. All fiora pickers are damned, {{champion:17}} pickers compared to fiora pickers are a very good people.
That is not strictly true, she is very cooldown dependant because her True damage is her Ult and her Q that must be on mark for that. So she either feeds or kills same as other snowballing champs because she is very squishy.
: I never said i blame the 11 deaths on the jungler. I was wondering why did I get banned when i was getting flamed and the jungler INTENTIONALLY (I repeat INTENTIONALLY) avoided mid and jungled around mid during dives. Sure I know that I could've flashed from the zed q after he ulted me so it would have done less dmg and i MIGHT have survived but that is no reason for the jungler to completely avoid mid and every time i ask for a gank say "no". He could at least say "I'm just gonna stomp top and bot, get objectives and all that" but no. He just avoided mid, went bot 2 times, went bot 1-2 times, and didn't get a single drake. Yet i'm the one getting banned when i was flamed, trolled and had a bad game
You probably got banned after enough players complained about you, you keep saying it as though its the result of one bad game but the reality is that it typically takes more than one game for Riot to ban someone. Even if he was a bad jungler, I'm sure that ban is not based solely on that one game. You probably got what you deserve.
: Nice job riot
First of all , Don't blame the jungler in this case. {{champion:8}} has all the tools to deal with {{champion:238}} even though I admit it can be challenging ... you should rush {{item:3157}}{{item:1001}} as soon as you can after getting at least 10% CD reduction and for the rest farm under turret if need be, hold onto your W and keep your HP bar as high as possible as to not to enable {{champion:19}}. {{champion:2}} couldn't come to your lane because that would mean he'd have to deal with fed {{champion:238}} and fed {{champion:19}}, both are champions {{champion:2}} would find hard to take on in normal circumstances as it is, even with his ult and all. If you want to blame someone, blame your top laner who lets Lee Sin roam without punishing, that'd make more sense.
Xêm (EUW)
: Well, the reward is greater for learning the champion. Rengar was a nice example of this, together with some other champs. So why should they rework Rengar but leave champions like Gangplank and Azir which are even more difficult to learn?
With {{champion:268}} its even deeper than that, because if you have Latency over 50ms you can't really do these amazing Bjergsen plays with him due to abilities not casting in time. Also a Rework is not always bad, For example I learned how to play Aatrox and he is pretty powerful once you learn how to play him, even after the rework, so maybe the same hold true for Rengar and players just need to adapt to the change and figure out new strategies.
Rhoku (EUW)
: The new Rengar Rework is a faliure.
I think the idea is to make League less about 1 trick players. I don't see why {{champion:107}} should be better than other assassins out there. Most champions have their weaknesses.
: Well the issue here is that your comparisons are off. Vlad is designed to not ramp up in a fight like aatrox, he just has windows of strength and weakness built into his Q to regulate its oppressiveness in melee lanes. Aatrox is supposed to stay in a fight and sustain until he pops off, so that's why vlad's doesn't fall off and why aatrox is... one is meant for his enemies to know when he is strong and the other is a reward for staying in the thick of a fight. And trynd has many issues... he is an ancient champion and his age is most definitely showing, that's why he is very high priority for a VGU to get his issues straightened out... So we can't compare aatrox to trynd because trynd is out dated as hell and needs to be set straight. And something people seem to forget... his ult charges his blood pool by 20% for every champion hit... that means that at the start of the fight you can E, Q hit them with a W then ult... against 2 or more champions that's a full blood pool and if not all it takes is 3 more auto attacks and you will get it. It's not that difficult and when I tried him out I had no issue getting access to my revive when I needed it.

That wasn't really my point. although at present he can't sustain much in a fight unless its 1v1 maybe or he is full build already so I think that part was somewhat botched by riot the way it stands.
: Oh please, you have to be a really bad player to play like that, its pretty easy to bait out nautilus W and quickly disengage since it has long cooldown.
His snare is short and champions like Fiora can easily turn it around on him. Riven can stun him before he can trade that AA

You've been living in a dream world Neo... This -*gestures theatrically*- is the real League... where you lose because of trolls an feeders and people who never learned how to build their champ.
Zephyr77 (EUW)
: Dear Riot...just why ?
Let me get this straight, you are complaining about damage on {{champion:99}} {{champion:112}} ? are you serious?! I got S or S+ on both of these multiple times and only reason I don't play them much recently is that I try to get more boxes. I just came out of a game where I was autofill ADC and two players went for 2x item late game({{item:3089}}x2 and {{item:3078}} x2) ... hopefully you are not the type of player to build like that or complain you don't deal damage when you neglected to build {{item:3135}} on top of your {{item:3020}} Also never heard of anyone building {{item:3146}} on {{champion:103}} and she doesn't really need that in her kit Most mages are about staying at the back line and using CC. There are exceptions like {{champion:131}} {{champion:127}}{{champion:8}} but they have their tools to deal with that. Half the games are won simply because one team outplayed the other regardless of how many fed tanks they have.
gochev (EUNE)
: why are bot laners on my team always losing
Bottom lane depends on matchup, not only matchup against enemies but also match-up between support and ADC(assuming the players themselves are not bad): For example here are matches that work well together: {{champion:37}} + {{champion:202}} (Harass , stuns , heals, great waveclear and ults) {{champion:143}} + {{champion:51}} (nearly ungankable, they both do well staying at range) {{champion:412}} + {{champion:429}} (good ult combo) And here are examples of matches that work really bad in most cases: {{champion:12}} + {{champion:222}} (Jinx is usually better at kiting, Alistar better at going in) {{champion:40}} + {{champion:81}} (Not enough waveclear) {{champion:432}} + {{champion:236}} (not enough hard CC or range) And so on , of course I'm only talking about the early game in ideal conditions that both teams know what they are doing more or less, so these are not strictly bad or good, they just have higher chance of outplaying or getting outplayed. Overall if your botlane duo are just bad players there is nothing you can really do about it(especially in Silver and Bronze), even if you go down there and gank for them they would probably lose that advantage the second you leave the lane. Then there is also the phenomena of Support players who do not know how to build: {{champion:1}} {{champion:63}} {{champion:9}} {{champion:99}} {{champion:74}} {{champion:143}} {{champion:25}} etc should all build {{item:2301}} {{item:3165}} {{item:3020}} {{item:3135}} While {{champion:267}} {{champion:37}} {{champion:40}} {{champion:117}} {{champion:10}} {{champion:16}} etc should rush {{item:2301}} {{item:3504}} {{item:3174}} etc ( on most of these you can also go for a more offensive build as needed but the point is that they actually benefit from pure support builds boost to healing and shielding power) And its sad that so many players don't understand when its better to build an offensive support over a pure support... they uniformly rush {{item:3107}} or {{item:3190}} (what should be a mid-late game support item for teamfights to support an already winning party) regardless of what support they play and end up losing lane, I've seen this many times. Go for {{item:2302}} only if your ADC have great waveclear, but unfortunately I see many botlane support pick it up regardless and lose lane after lane when they are outfarmed and outdamaged with no heals. Melee supports such as: {{champion:89}} {{champion:412}} {{champion:111}} {{champion:12}}{{champion:44}} etc should start with {{item:3302}} always, its let them heal the ADC and themselves and also allows them to help waveclear with ADCs that have that kind of problem ({{champion:81}} ), starting with {{item:3096}} is selfish and means fail in most of these cases

Communism has nothing to do with this. There are SIGNIFICANTLY more players who do not get paid to play this game and also are paying customers (skins etc), therefore they should be the priority not the minor amount of "professionals" who should really get real jobs anyway. In a real life scenario this is exactly the kinds of decisions people have to make during disasters. If there are two things going wrong simultaneously and you have to decide which to prioritise - you prioritise that which gives the most benefit (the most people saved). Or in league's case, the most players benefited.
First of all this is a discussion about Balance, it makes no sense to balance a team-game based on under-qualified players in SoloQ which was my entire point.
: > [{quoted}](name=Vengeful Newb,realm=EUW,application-id=39gqIYVI,discussion-id=V88McOsU,comment-id=0006,timestamp=2017-04-17T12:20:58.450+0000) > > The main attraction of the game is around Esports and Teamplay, there is no reason to balance the game around SoloQ. : S7 is bad and completely balanced around LCS and not SOLOQ
The main attraction of the game is around Esports and Teamplay, there is no reason to balance the game around SoloQ.
: What is this new trend "looking for e girl"?
Its because if you play Xayah and Rakan duo bot lane it can be kind of embarrassing if with a guy and people might get the wrong ideas about your sexual orientation. Also I think some Players are deluded enough to think they might get a hot-looking streamer girlfriend like some former members of TSM did.
: Ah I love the attitude of low elo people
Its the same thing when they don't want to buy {{item:3036}} when enemy is a fully stacked {{champion:31}} or {{champion:86}} or when they refuse to buy {{item:3033}} vs {{champion:50}} and are all like 'I still deal damage so why should I' .. Some ADCs even refuse to get {{item:3072}} and wonder how they die so fast. And then when you ask them to do that and tell them their build is bad they say you are flaming and games that should be ff20 in your favor end up lasting forever or maybe in a loss even.

: What is shaco even anymore?
Shaco is strong early game and weak late game. He is meant to help allied team snowball with ganks and counter jungle during the early game. His utility allows him to control the jungle. Late game he is a split pusher whos goal is to force the enemy team to break apart: usually leading to a 5v3 situation when played correctly and he thrives by avoiding the heavy bruisers rather than taking them head on. I've seen some tanky shacos but I think the only reason they work is because lesser players foolishly underestimate them and get outplayed. Still I think that late game shaco is not about duelling, its about taking objectives , getting away and keeping a poorly organised team from ever grouping up due to the relentless cycle of split push and escapes.. Its important to stress that he can't and not meant to carry a game by his own, at least not in divisions where players know what they are doing.
: It is blockable in general. It just can't be blocked by creeps (unlike Morgana's Q) And it can't be bodyblocked by your friend tanky support. It just goes through And it can't be blocked by Veigar box or Cass W since it is blink, not dash. And in every other respect it is blockable, yes.
it can't be blocked by viktor's W or Zyra ult or Diana's E ... I think only thing that really blocks it are Shen's W, Bard ult and Kindred ult to a lesser extent
: Weaponizing reports RIOT please respond
Skimming between the line you sound like a really bad support. its one thing if you have a bad ADC but if you leave lane , especially late game , its open season on that ADC, especially if its an ADC without good waveclear. If enemy have a ranged support it also means the lone ADC can forget about farming under the tower. Even if some ADCs are that bad , a support that buys ancient coin and give up on the ADC is pretty much giving away a lane for free. Also I bet some Top and Mid that are doing remotely well don't really want you in their lane and that would be enough to tilt them when you don't listen and roam around there scaring away their prey from an otherwise perfectly timed skillshot.
: Why can't i be nice?
Just recognize that when you are in a team of feeders even god won't help so just realize that there is nothing you can do and try to enjoy the game regardless.

: > So no you can't claim its homophobic. In fact saying that 'Gay' is a negative way to refer to homosexual is homophobic. When people are using it in a derogatory manner, it's homophobic by todays social norms judging by the usage of the word. The old english origins of gay meaning happy is simply not used anymore; it's now almost purely used as a derogatory term against homosexuals.
Look, some Homosexuals refer to or describe themselves as "gay" , so it is not derogatory as you suggest. That is just a fact.
: what do you do when this happens
Gay is an adjective, it was an adjective way before it was used to describe homosexuals. So no you can't claim its homophobic. In fact saying that 'Gay' is a negative way to refer to homosexual is homophobic. For example if someone told you "Gay fist Lee sin" its not homophobic its because he is so happy. P.S Why do you read enemy chat?

: really? i get punished because of this??
: When is RIOT going to increase turrets damage?
Turrets do damage based on level, if someone gets fed and levels up faster than normal their HP would be higher and turrets become less of a threat. I think most good players got a kill thanks to opponent trying and failing to dive them on at least one occassion.

: I personally don't even really like the new lee skin. He looks like he took a bath in liquid butter or something. Also i don't get the god fist concept. The skin doesn't emphatise on the fists at all. And lee sin is primarily defined by his kicks. His q and r are mostly what makes him the champ he is now, and both are kicks.
the "God fist" is basically a gay Lee sin version of Marvel's Iron fist on netflix, also kind of looks like that fist in the series. I mean there is a reason it glows orange yellow and not say Blue or Red...

He said _"...if you don't instantly know how to play a new champion."_ It's a pity (and a shame) that new players who just are around LVL 10 feel the need to write such posts.
No one asked you to instantly know how to play a champion: You can watch champion spotlight and guides about how to play said champion You can practice in Co-op vs AI or Practice tools... Plenty of options to learn a champion without pissing anyone off which was my point.
: Fighting a Losing Battle against Toxicity...
Look man, You have plenty of tools to learn how to play a champion : Co-Op vs AI, Champion Spotlight videos , Practice Tool and custom game. It seems unreasonable to force other people to suffer because you didn't study up on how to play a champion. I think they should create a special mode called 'Troll-Haven' for all the players who enjoy trolling and feeding in this game or testing absurd off meta picks . They say "What do you care if you lose because of me, its just a normal", to that you would be able to answer : go play in troll haven'

This kind of reminds me of the Thread about {{champion:30}} claiming that Karthus is outdated or so because they don't know how to play him (nevermind that yesterday TL used {{champion:30}} to 2-0 GCU in NALCS promos) Just learn how to build against the {{champion:31}} and stop whining? Just don't talk to them and act selfishly... Look I was midlane : got first blood even , Seen top lane struggle so I went top to help because he was feeding. Turns out the guy who was playing {{champion:23}} vs {{champion:67}} was just huddled by the turret scared, he had ulti but for some reason he used to it to escape rather than engage... you can't help people like that, no matter how hard you would try because the moment you leave lane they would feed and feed all meanwhile your neglected lane regains power. Or another example {{champion:39}} vs a {{champion:86}} ... anyone knows that {{champion:39}} is weak early and there is no way she can kill a tank like that but that guy kept pushing and getting ganked no matter how much I came to help... Same goes for bottom lane that I successfully ganked at level 2, they just kept feeding after I left , And alongside with that we had a midlaner who did not build penetration and just kept whining about how I did not babysit the lane that he kept recklessly pushing. Just accept that some games you would lose no matter what and these people that you won't see again are not worth your anger.
: The adc godplex problem is here ones again
Half the times when your ADC is {{champion:236}} just skip... its kind of like {{champion:67}} without CC who jumps in to feed the enemy the moment you land a root on enemy ADC even if it was just for harass.

: ''Overall sounds like you are both bad players who flame each-other'' I did not flame.. at all... You want a replay of the game? If you don't agree with me after that, well...
I don't know how to watch your replays.. Enemy ADC legendary in 8 min can be a huge problem.Top can help but only if they have means to do that. I just got demoted in a game where all the team just open themselves up to be ganked (Pushing lane too much when they should freeze lane) and failing to respect dangerous early game opponents like Garen or Katarina. Any ganking attempt I've made was very redundant because my teammates were just feeding elsewhere and each of them expected me to babysit which is silly. And even when midlaner got ahead they did not know how to build their champion Game before then was lost largely due to a top lane who didn't know how to play their champion(and me sacrificing my lane trying to help them which was a huge mistake) So some games can't be won no matter what.
