There's no need to play this game if %%%%heads make you angry. There's a lot of other stuff out there.

: The thing is assists also is not accurate. As a Toplaner for example you will be splitting most of the game and you can win a game with 2/2/2 while having the most mappressure. The thing with not dying is so wrong. Yes you shouldn't die and not throw your lead, but i prefer a player who would do something with his 5/0 lead instead of one who would play passive af because he doesn't wanna ruin his kda. I would REALLY mind if people play for kda because i think playing for kda is one of the worst things a player can do. I used to dodge when i see i have a janna with good kda because i know this janna would just sit behind and do nothing all game. If you play in Dia+ games kda players can solo lose a game with that mindset.
OK you got a point. I forgot to mention kill participation as well.... So a bonus for every 10% maybe? (And of course a good KDA from passive play shouldn't give you more than 10 LP then) Plus a bonus for each objective taken. :)

KDA doesn't say much about a persons skill ofc if someone is 0/10 they did bad but a 4/6 player could have contributed alot more to a win then a 10/1 player.
You make the classical mistake to *not* count the number of assists, which also go into the KDA. I used to play support, and I always tried to (and often did) come out with KDA > 4. The main goal aside from winning the game is to *not die*. Whether you get kills or assists is irrelevant for the calculation of the KDA. And I won't mind when the players all go for a good KDA. But I need to admit that there would be games of > 70 minutes cuz nobody wants to finish.... so introduce a timer :)))) Or better, add a multiplier to the LP result depending on the shortness of the game.

I like such approaches in general. However, if you just lower the number of LP when there's a quitter, it **will** be abused for sure. For every new feature which is introduced, people will first find out how to abuse it. In this game, LP are the "currency". So, it's about gaining or losing LP - more like it is about winning or losing. What about making the gain/loss depending on your KDA? If a player has a KDA of >1, (s)he will gain LP, and vice versa. Examples: - a 10/3/8 ADC had +6 KDA. Multiply by <_some base number, let's say 4_> = +24 LP - a 0/5/22 support had +4,xx KDA = +16 LP. - a 2/10/2 midlaner had 0,4 KDA = 1/0,4 * 4 = -10 LP. and so on. Doesn't matter whether it was a win or a lose. That way those players who get trolled all time will over time rise above those who always troll. And the real trolls are sinking to the deepest cellar.

Anyway, in case the champ you picked is considered to be OP, it happens quite some times that (s)he'll get banned anyway, also by your own team. Remember, when such champs are banned and noone selected them, they're OP, and when they're banned while someons on your own team selected them, your team doesn't trust you can play him... However, there should be some communication before. Best case is if someone on your team picks it for you. But such things never happen, as there are no "teams" here. It's just a random collection of frustrated players who all think all others are trolls or noobs. At the end of the day, it is your choice whether or not you want to expose yourself to that crap "community". I decided to quit a while ago. I still like watching the streams very much - but there you see real teamplay. Something which will never happen in the daily ranked world.

OK, what I wanted to say is that you can **not** state that the OP is a female just because there's an "anna" in the username. I have a "willi" in my name - do you believe that I am a male? Would you believe me if I say I am a female? Is it important after all? This is virtual world, and people behind the usernames are invisible - much like it is irrelevant to know about the people behind the usernames when you play the game. Everybody can be anybody. That's why I believe OP is a troll when (s)he complains about fellow players. There is no point in telling anybody your gender, and there is no reason to believe it when someone tells you.

I quit this game about 6 monts ago in favor of another one where I can work my way into the ladder myself and not be dependend on ignorant, incompetent, or just unwilling team"mates". You can't carry yourself out of Bronze when you're in Bronze yourself. That's only what the smurfs tell us; maybe I'm too bad and deserve to be there, however my perception is a different one. I'm old enough to have the required understanding of tactics, and I have a good map awareness. Still you need your "team" to win. At least that goes for me. So, I can understand you. And if you want to quit, just do it. No point in posting it here - you read the reactions.

First of all drop the idea that you know anything about the game. Then focus on 1. Farming (you need to be better than your lane opponent). This is your main sure of gold generation. 2. Objectives. Kills don't win the game. The priority of objectives is inhibitor>baron>turret>dragon>buff. 3. Item build. It might make sense to purchase a defensive item when you have a fed opponent who kills you faster than you can release all the damage you have built. Spirit Visage works wonders against Teemo and Lux.

I can tell you my story. This is my 3rd season; well, in fact the second season where I play a considerable amount of ranked games. I used to play only support in ranked, I had decent KDA, many times >50% kill participtation, I warded like hell, overall I was quite satisfied. Until recently, where within one day where I had a bunch of time to play games, it happened that I dropped from almost "Promo to B2" all the way down to B5 ZERO LP. And @Hansiman, don't come and tell me it was my fault :)) it wasn't. It can't be. I then decided to switch roles. I concluded that support in Bronze makes you too dependent on your team, and that support's impact on the game can't carry you up. I now play top lane and mid as secondary. I for sure have problems with farming, as I never had to do that. That is improving; I'm happy that I many times at least can keep up with my opponent (that is what matters in early game). I play champs which can have an impact, like Trundle and Poppy. Trundle is a great tower cruncher, and many people either don't know him or just understimate him. However, on the new role I am at the point where I was more than a year ago when playing support. You need to learn basically everything anew. But, getting to my point: I already see that I can have more impact on the game with my basic toplane play that I had when playing support. And you, as a jungler, have even more impact. Some youtubers say you need to **have an impact** on the game (you might call it carrying), more than your lane opponent has. That wins you games. And yes, as Hansiman said, it's all about objectives. Kills don't win the game. Another thing I constantly see is that Bronze supports almost **never** get a Sightstone. The jungle is plain dark night. They all build damage, damage, damage. If you look at my recent games, you'll see that in almost all of them I was the one who placed the most wards. That is ridiculous! So, also plainly correct, when u want to win, you need **vision**. As a jungler, always have one or two control wards. And either take that sweeper jungler item, or get a sweeper. I also do that. When there is a Teemo on the enemy, I get an Oracle Sweeper for the mushrooms. You won't believe how many mushrooms I killed (and probably lives I saved). So, under the bottomline, Hansiman is IMO totally correct: Die less and having an impact wins you games. In Bronze, we need to carry. I also agree that Lee Sin is likely too hard for Bronze players. Choose one you feel comfortable with (and who doesn't always get banned), and play **one** champ whenever you can. One last aspect which you need to consider is **how much time** you put into the game. If you want to get to Plat/Diamond, you will be matched against players who don't have a life and maybe play for 8-10 hours -- per day. If you want to compete against them, you'll need to do the same. In other words, for normal people like you and me who maybe have friends, go to work/school and play about 2 or 3 ranked games per day, there is no way to get past Gold. I for myself yould be happy to get to Silver, where I am still in the upper 50% of the playerbase.

Karma is a great champ, but if you watch high ELO and pro games, they also most of the time lose when there is a Karma on the team. Same happened to me. I see her more as a midlaner than as support; for support ATM Zyra is the better Karma. Playing Karma on midlane gives you a good APC plus some supportive tools, like the team shield boost (maybe I should try that :) ).

I am quite sure that most of the people who did "something wrong" know that they did. Granted, some don't. Leaving the enforcement to the community (by issuing reports) is IMO worse than putting in an automated detection system which triggers the automated punishment system. The way it is now is like "you have the tools, you need to use it". The tools in place are just not used (enough) to turn the system which is in place into an effective one. However, that is my opinion. But when you read around here and see all the posts about people "not being punished", it IMO indicates that all that is ---- suboptimal. Given that 50% of these rant posts are incorrect, that still leaves us with 50% which an enforcement would detect. I still don't see any relation to ethics here.

I see it that way: I want to play the game, and I for myself don't want and don't need to spend my free time together with the toxic kind of people. That's why I occasionally report players; I also would do that if there was no Summoner's Code and no ToU and stuff. It's just about me wanting to have a calm game and a nice team. I need to point out however, that I almost **never** have toxic players in my games --- although I am hovering around at the very bottom of the ladder. Talking about respect, that is an interesting aspect. I guess we all respect our teammates and opponents no different from real life when we enter a game. If someone gets toxic and keeps doing so, I would say that this person turns..... somewhat irrelevant to me. That's not about respect, I'd say. I just wouldn't want to have any talks, chats, conversations with that guy --- (s)he moves out of my area of interest. Ignore. Ingame, I would still heal/shield that guy when I play support. It's about the game, not the persons. And hey - it is quite understandable when players who get harrassed a lot (I mean really al lot) are celebrating (as you call it) when one of these people gets punished. I'd say it doesn not express disrespect, but it is an indication that still way too few toxics are being punished. If the system would be better (or people woud not forget to report toxics so often), there won't be celebrations, as consequences won't be that rare.

There is the ToU and Summoner's Code which people agree to when they install and play the game. That is the rule set. The one who sets the rules is entitled (basically obliged) to check and enforce them. It's like "no smoking" in a restaurant, and someone does smoke, but noone is offended. If nobody complains about someone braeking the rules, that doesn't automatically create ethical problems when the rule-setter follows up on his own rules. It's simply about setting rules and enforcing them. Riot does the first, but not the second. The "enforcing" is left to the community by reporting people. And that causes a lot of discussions here.

+1 A really good idea. For reasons of simplicity, IMO it would be enough to show some flag beneath the summoner name in the post-game lobby. But how ever it'd be done, a tag ingame would be great.

The only thing we can actively contribute is to report such people. Often people forget to do it, which I believe is a good part of the reason that those people are "still around", as we read repeatedly.

: Look man, You have plenty of tools to learn how to play a champion : Co-Op vs AI, Champion Spotlight videos , Practice Tool and custom game. It seems unreasonable to force other people to suffer because you didn't study up on how to play a champion. For the rest the game has a leveling process for a reason so veteran players won't have to deal with players who don't know the basics of how to play the game. (it still happens but that is the idea)

You could argue that because Lee dind't gank you didn't get any farm / gold / levels etcpp. and in consequence were useless. (I imagine you get flamed for noob instead of getting help from the team...)

In fact it's quite easy if you are right; but like VelowTheOriginal already said, this board can't help you. My account also had been hacked once; I couldn't log in anymore, and later i saw games in my history which I never played. You need to address support for account recobery. They'll require some personal information, certainly email address, account creation date, and very likely dates and items of you last store purchases. If you can provide that, they'll reset your account. At least that's what they did with mine. In that context it should be irrelevant where you account resides. What matters is on which server it is at the time you post the request. Posting it here will not help you.

I'm pretty sure everyone reaches that limit within the first week right now. That's actually not true anymore, report value doesn't exist anymore. As I said above, one report will trigger an investigation, that doesn't cost a lot of resources, so using it too much is not a big deal, unless you intentionally report people who did nothing wrong.

well what should they do **before** something happens? I also don't really believe that this playerbase can be "educated" in some way. Education is the job of your parents, and not of a game provider. There's people here who say that harder punishments lead to nothing; these people just open new accounts. I guess that is true, but I would hope that if a banned player opens the 4th new account and has to grind himself up to LVL30 time and time again in oder to destroy ranked games again, he would get tired of that at some point.

Let me think about it: When I try a new champ, I have yet to manage to die 11 times in 10 minutes. And I'm Bronze and a noob. The highest number I have in mind about my own deaths on an unused champo is about 5 or 6 in 15 minutes. Also not more on a used champ in a very hard matchup (and I played support!). So, yes, I'd consider that intentional.

I also can't hear that _it's your fault; look at yourself_ any more. I played support in low ELO, had constant stats, and since a couple of weeks only lost games. Not only because of trolls, but because of people who don't care.... That sentence is valid when everyone tries his best; support is much team-reliant in low ELO, and myself being the constant factor in all my games still brought me from almost B2 straight back down to B5 ZERO LP. That shall be my fault? Never ever. I now change roles, as I don't see a chance to carry as support. It's just not possible. And I suspoect (like LowBird said) it's because of the matchmaking. At least more like because of your own skill.

+1 I am currently learing / training a new role and get my hands back on some champs. And I agree with you. I mostly played ranked with some exceptions, and now I am playing way more normals to not spoil ranked games for others. But really dude, what we can see in some of those normal games is just hilarious. And the argument "it's **just a normal**" should be a reportable offense. Yes, you don't get LP for this; still it is about winning. I totally understand people like you who don't play ranked and feel there are days when you can't play one decent game....

that's exactly the point. there is a tool to get rid of flame chat, but there's no tool against trolls. sad. what gives me hope is that i recently received 5 feedback notifications within 4 days. and I didn't report flamers, as I have none (except one); I reported trolls. so, the report system seems to work. but it takes way more time to filter out a troll than it takes to recognize a hard flamer.

Greetings. I never had crashes with the new client; there were lags here and there, which are way better since 7.6. And I don't have a state-of-the-art computer. Maybe try the _repair_ function. Or a complete swipe and re-install. If you do reinstall, completely delete the game's folder tree afterwards. There is a lot of garbage flying around in the LOL directories.
