: Most ap supports started as midlaners and then found out that they could be used as agressive supports, zyra can zone, annie can engage stun like leona but faster and also deals damage so it is good with an agressive adc like lucian(shes more focused on teamfights tho), talyah in the midlane wants to push the lane and gank when she can if you put her as a support you remove that (since she can only really go gank mid), pluz she can't push when she wants to since she has to let the adc farm and she can't/shouldn't always get away from lane to gank leaving her adc alone. Zoe is just a tad too weak to fight 2vs2 and is best when again she can push mid and keep her opponent from leaving lane so she can go into the midgame and pick people off. Not saying they cant support, just that they weren't made with the intent of supporting.
I know but the thing is, I want a female support champion with the intention of 'true support' with a healing and some cc and a shield. > [{quoted}](name=frappe moi papa,realm=EUW,application-id=Mpd1UjGe,discussion-id=MQpj45qs,comment-id=0002000000000000,timestamp=2018-03-02T22:43:08.361+0000) > > Most ap supports started as midlaners and then found out that they could be used as agressive supports, zyra can zone, annie can engage stun like leona but faster and also deals damage so it is good with an agressive adc like lucian(shes more focused on teamfights tho), talyah in the midlane wants to push the lane and gank when she can if you put her as a support you remove that (since she can only really go gank mid), pluz she can't push when she wants to since she has to let the adc farm and she can't/shouldn't always get away from lane to gank leaving her adc alone. > Zoe is just a tad too weak to fight 2vs2 and is best when again she can push mid and keep her opponent from leaving lane so she can go into the midgame and pick people off. : {{champion:78}} {{champion:254}} Tanky female champs that can support.
Yes but Vi isn't designed to be a support, We need a female support champion with heals, cc or stuns. Like a true support champion like Janna or Leona
: Ehm... Not exactly so. Intentions are one thing. Capabilities is a diffirent thing. If we take Annie, we shall see that she can only tank with her bear and stun once in 5 spells. Now let's compare this to others mentioned. {{champion:143}} can zone half of the lane. Her minions work great to keep enemies away from farm. Also: hard cc x2. {{champion:163}} has got a lot of cc. If you think about it. AoE slow, push, wall. {{champion:142}} a great hard CC skillshot (especially when hurled over the wall or turret), capability to mirror any summs (double exhaust, chilling smite from both junglers, double heal from both ADCs). The only thing all these girls lack is some kind of heal or shield to use in teamfights. But even Soraka will work offensively these days. Q, E.... {{champion:164}} -- okay.... not really a supp, to say true. Yet, nearly the same story as Sion supp and Ornn supp. I'd maybe compare her to Leona (get in, cc, aoe, absorb damage, retreat) if not for Leona's overloaded CC kit. No one stands a chance against that.
You are right, but these champions are not designed with the intention of being a true support like soraka, janna or alistar.
