: I fear my wording was not fit for what I was trying to say. What I'm trying to say is: - nobody plays their main in unranked matches - everyone that plays their main in unranked matches has an S there - you don't get an S in every match either way - if you struggle to get an S on your main in an unranked match, it's not your main PS: We are talking about marathons here, not sprints
ok now i see what you mean. thank you for stating what you were trying to say
: Git gud then No offense but if you are butthurt over not getting S ranks on your main in casual games you are just not good enough for your current elo. The good news is - the lower you fall, the easier it will get to earn an S rank - so just keep failing ;)
that isn't what is happening. thanks to new information, i now know that cs and vision score is important for an s rank. and before you call someone bad, maybe look at their match history. i only have one game with ekko (my main) on there but it is good. almost all games i play with him i do well at, and most of the time i carry.

This will help you see what other ekko players average in terms of cs so you can aim to get a higher cs/minute score for your S rank. Also as has been said before you can't stress enough how important vision is. When aiming for an S get a control ward whenever you have spare gold and an item space, also you may do this already but some ekko's take red trinket which is not a very consistent way of building up that vision score so maybe stick to yellow's so u can place more wards and get higher vision scores more consistently.
i will try to do this as much as possible
: Your farm comes into play as well. Typically if you have over 200cs for a 30+ min game you'll get an S with the KDA you posted. Vision score is also important! Typically buying one or two control wards is good.
thank you for your input, i had no idea vision control would impact this, and im pretty sure that my cs was kinda low i think, so that could be why
: play ARAM
no. mainly because i want to get an s on my main, not on a free rotation champ

I liked his new kit better until guess what they removed his revive... but I like his new Q even though it is a 3 hit attack like Yasuo Riven with their Q but only the third q of Aatrox looks like Riven I think and his little dash I guess but many champions have a dash like that now. > > The only problem I got with Galio is that his ult isn't that great or at least hard to use since it feels like a pantheon ult but worse? more fun to see than an almost instant taunt combined with Nunu ult. > > Zac's Q is the only thing that is different before his rework which is good since his previous Q was just him stretching his fists and dealing damage. > > Mordekaiser is now fun to play and terrifying to play against. Although not unique but still fun. His Q is like sion Q but faster without knock-up, his W seems like tahm kench's E, his E seems like the E and passive of Swain in one ability and his ult is a better version of Camilles. Not to mention I don't want more spaghetti code with Mordekaiser. > > can you really counter pick ultimates anymore? Sure but I can also just pick a champion that can counter his whole/overal kit since that is more efficient rather than focusing only on the ultimates. The ult of Vayne isn't that unique since it is just a power-up and oh wait she goes invisible every few seconds. Not to mention you can counter ultimates with certain items anyway like Mordekaiser with Quicksilver or Zed with Zhonja's. > > If you mean counter picking in general then the cause for that is: > 1. People don't care since it is more fun this way. > 2. People don't/can't play the counter pick champion that well and would result in worse performance than playing their main. > > But people still base/consider their pick based on their enemies I think. I don't think I am going to play Nasus if I see an enemy Teemo but if they pick someone like Yasuo then I will pick Nasus when I want to play him. > > Yes because CC is just a general term for a status effects that has impact on your movement. It is quite common and easily identified. > Nuking/burst is a trait of a champion like being a tanky. > AD range is just a marksman/ADC which is a role mostly played in the bot lane like you can categorize who are supports, tanks, mages, fighters and assassins. > > In the end these are all terms and some CC are really simple and look like each other but it is kind of hard to have a different trait than they already have now. Can you thing of an trait that isn't already in the game? And a champion has either an ability that has CC or it doesn't, like it either has good mobility or it doesn't. So yea, in my mind come different traits that could be nice addons to diversify the meta. Thinking of curses. Imagine someone's ult like 60 seconds death timer , where the opponent would die in 60 seconds unless he killed someone else or got cleansed, or curses such as weaknesses, dots , etc.
sort of like mordes old ultimate, which was my favourite ultimate in the game purely because of how awesome it was, especially the ghost drag. r.i.p old mordekaiser, we will remember you

: [POLL-Revert Reworks] I have the feeling that balance = too similar champions
this is an incredible point! i definitely agree with you. new morde is actually surprisingly like darius, aatrox is just another riven, and many other champs who are similar to other champs. one huge mistake isee is sylas, as most unique parts about a champion is their ultimate, and not only does he not have a true ultimate, he takes away the uniqueness of other champions ultimates. I'm very happy that i main ekko as he is one of the few champions who are really unique in this game. however, i dont blame riot that much as there are well over 100 champions i believe. i would revert morde purely because morde turned out to be very op and, like i said, similar to darius.

: I am not a good player myself, but let me add my points. *First Learn 3 things: 1. Objectives (turrets, drakes, rift, barons) wins the game; not kills or kda. Learn how to get them. (In and around silver, this is a problem and always try to get them fast, so that game ends faster). 2. Vision is always good; learn and ask team mates to get good vision. (imo upto silver this is a big problem and no/bad vision means no/bad tracking of opponents). 3. Farming and wave management; good cs score means good gold income and good items. If you can get ahead in farm, you get a lead and you can convert it to a kill. Knowing when to push, when to back and when to freeze is important for making plans for trade/kill. * Learn two roles, with 2-3 champs each; and by learn I don't mean the mastery points, but their skills, cd, mana cost, power spikes,.... (most of the champs in Top/jg and mid/supp can be interchanged). * Learn to be patient; you would've come across feeders/trolls/afk in normals too, but players take ranked little bit serious, so they flame more. Never feed "flamers". (I see that you play kayn jg; be extra patient if you play jg). * Know what do you need to build (depends on whether you're with lead/behind) and what to do for winning (lead/behind). (most of the games in silver-bronze-iron go for 35-45 mins and this is bad especially if opponent team has some champions like vayne, veigar, nasus, kayle.. so learn to end fast always).

: Pro tip: do not play after a new patch note is released since most of the times there are bugs that still wasn't noticed. Short answer: 1.Think you can play your main decently. 2.Have some back-up champions for every role in case auto-fill or your main gets banned. 3.Have a long fuse or /mute all 4.Don't judge someone by their rank 5.Know the basics of every champion (optional) 6.Don't assume someone is inting if they just have a bad game, bad K/D/A ratio doesn't equal inting but it does equal feeding. 7.Levels don't matter either since I was also around level 50 when I played ranked after a few years but played a lot of league before level cap was raised. I assume you are quite new to this game so if you want to play competitive then go ahead but if you don't then I would stay away... You should play ranked if you feel like you are ready to play it. Vague I know but the most important thing is have a long fuse since everyone can potentially be toxic, this isn't a case of "this community is so toxic" but if someone is having a bad day or a bad game people will blow their fuse after a few minutes. Everyone can be salty/tilted/toxic and that is just with every game. Be prepared to have the magical answer to those people /mute or /mute all since It is handy I will tell you that and it will let you focus on the game instead of arguing with your allies. Also be prepared to meet some dumb people who act like little children or are boosted since they don't know how certain mechanics works of the most simplest things. Rank doesn't matter. Someone in gold was worse than someone in bronze..... He didn't even understand the concept of a spell shield... and was somehow gold... There are high chances that someone will judge you by your ranked but it doesn't matter, Someone will troll and someone will go afk. Sometimes it is all three, had a guy go a troll support and mess up my game because my premade was bronze and the game was also winnable even though he started trolling ever since minions were spawned. or an ezreal went afk since his support wasn't following his orders thus he went afk after 5 minutes. If you are unlucky then you will come across those kinds of people so it could be a long grind.
you make a fair point. after making this post i played one ranked game, and i had a gnar top complain to me about not ganking him so much. i agreed with him and apologised, yet he continued the conversation after he died again. sometimes you just get a shit team

: Depends on what kind of player you are. If you feel like ranked gameplay is what you are aiming for and that's what you want to do mostly, then after some basic preparations, go for it. There is no objective point of "get to lvl100 and you will do better". The people here can tell you a lot about ranked, but in the end if you are the kind of player who wants to experience it in first hand, then that's what you'll have to do. You can absolutely get better in normal matches too, but you will need to be a bit more self-conscious about the things you do in game. If you need some help in improving, then feel free to ask. The only thing normals can't prepare you for in ranked is the "atmosphere". That you'll have to see for yourself. But in general i'd say that once you have the basic concepts then you can go for ranked if that's what you are looking for. Runes, builds, ganking, teamfighting, and laning/jungle pathing. You'll also want to make sure that you know the basics about essentially every champion. You don't want to get surprised by something you have never seen before. The rest will come with time, attention and effort. I could go into more details, but that would probably result in a very long post, so just ask if you are interested in something else.
thank you for your input and i most likely would have read it even if it was a long post xD
: not today , because the game is full of bugs and bugsplats
this is true, but im not letting mordekaiser or bugs ruin my game and make me not want to play it.
: It's mostly a matter of personal preference I'd say. I started playing ranked as soon as I got to lvl 30 at the end of season 2. Of course, I promptly got placed into bronze 5 and it took me 3 seasons to finally get my hands on that shiny golden victorious skin, but if I got a 2nd chance I'd do the exact same thing again. Tbh, I don't understand why people that are scared of getting placed into a low rank even bother with ranked. You're not going to improve by not playing ranked games, and even if you play better than your rank you'll still need to play enough games to make sure the effects of random events (afks, smurfs, bugs, etc) start to level out across your games. TL;DR: If you enjoy playing this game competitively (even if you're not particularly good at it or have no aspiration of getting challenger), start playing ranked right now. You have nothing to lose (cause lets face it, the only difference between iron and dia is the color of your border).
thank you for giving me a good answer. im not scared of getting a terrible rank, i just dont want to negatively impact others ranks, but i suppose that its not always your fault. i will start playing ranked now, thank you

: Why should Rito support handle you in any special way, other than giving you an automated reply? There are hundreds of people reporting people from same thing.
are those people experiencing racism, multiple death threats and shit about mental health
: I understand Riot's stance here but it's not entirely true as it happens inside Riot's application. There's no real reason to not include private chats. And the clause that it's a private channel of some sort and therefore the rules are not applicable is nonsense. Let me put it to the extreme here - what if we planned to assassinate the president, and that we meet under the Brooklyn bridge by midnight - the code-phrase is: Sic Semper Tyrannis For reference, before someone freaks out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEQOvyGbBtY On the other hand, I've had my fair share of experience in similar regards and the company hosting the game couldn't do shit. Basically, we had a lot of faction drama in Mortal Online, and one of the leaders had a girlfriend who was also in-game that left the clan, did some questionable stuff with the guild bank, and he started spreading pictures of her via Teamspeak. Unfortunately, the mods were all too keen to hear and see all about it and then decided that they could not take any action because it happened outside their platform. The "best" part about it was that everyone was like: It's treason, that's worse than spreading very private pictures of someone. NUTS I said and left that shitshow for good. Either way. On the other hand, to put in a similar case. In EVE Online some pirate did LOTS of Mothership scams. LIke - constantly. What this means is basically: You can't trade anything from Mothership above via the station - this means, you have to trade it in space. So you transfer the money, the seller exits the ship, you enter it. Of course you can always just take the money and then activate smartbombs, killing the buyer. Which this guy did - always. Either way - one day one of his corpmates wanted to buy it off of him to do the same. Guess what... smartbombs. And of course some hatred was shared including death threats - all via PM - not some group chat or anything - PM. Guess who got banned? My point here is - there is absolutely no valid legal reason not to punish threats and harassment happening in PMs
> My point here is - there is absolutely no valid legal reason not to punish threats and harassment happening in PMs death threats not threats
: > . After the game he adds me as a friends and tells me things It's a private chat with your friends. It's called "private" for a reason, it's none of Riots business to look in there unless both parties (you AND your friend) consent. Privacy laws and all... However, there is a simple trick to avoid being flamed in private chat forever: Don't add toxic players as friends. If you do anyway, that's your choice and you'll have to deal with it alone. For ingame violations, just use the report option (not the support).
wth. if someone told u to kill yourself and racist things about your country im telling you that as a fact you would NOT accept the excuse of 'its a private chat'

The overall idea of the skin is nice saying this from a graphic designer perspective ! Just because Kayn looks like sasuke this doesn’t mean that “Weeb haters” shouldnt play it! I said im the post im no weeb just watched 7 animes but if i was whats the problem? dont look the skin as a Sasuke skin lol look at it as an Elemental skin literally! Elemental kayn with Thunder/Water Air Blue form Fire Earth Red form Right? its about the perspective of the observer not the literal thing! Thanls for taking your time and giving your opinions guys! Appreciate it! <3
i 100% agree. the battle academia skins where completely based on anime yet a lot of players (including myself and im not a weeb) use them. maybe, as a name for the skin, battle academia kaon or sth? as the skin is anime based it would be good to put it in an anime skin collection

Of course, so no matter what the rest of the player base thinks about the skin, even if all of the players like it, it should be scrapped because you don't
: 90% is very generous tbh.... but there are a few players out, who see League as what it is. A videogame. Well i hope that was your last punishment, and i trully believe in you. So good luck, and the most important thing in league - have fun.
: More or less yes. If you don't afk or intentional feed, sure. You are safe then. For the most stuff ingame you can use the pings. You can abuse them as well with spam, but i don't think you would do that after this. And mute the chat is 1 option, but for example a gj for a good gank or gg wp is surely not forbidden. Lets say if you joke with someone you can expect a chilled game, even if they or you don't play up to part. Somethimes if you admit that you play bad, most of us are pretty chilled afterwards. So don't be worrie about the chat, if someone starts flame, mute him. Don't talk back if you do, you risk something, depends on your choosing of words but so simple is the ban system for the chat.
Ty, I'll try this and hopefully I'll get less toxic players. Although somehow a talon said that I threw a game when I was on 6/5 and he was on 9/13. Proves that 90% of the league community are %%%%s, a bit like cat dog pig cow

: Game is going bonkers
Am I super lucky or is I just that I haven't logged into league for about6hrs
: It is... i falls under "negative additude" - its not be a strong reason, but might trigger a perma after a 14 day ban. Every slight offense could trigger it. So even if it is in good intention it could back fire really quickly. But in normal cases nothing will happen at least for while. In your case here, well like i said before it was the overall chatlog not only the report call
So, realistically, mute everyone and don't say anything in chat and ure safe?
: As an Ekko main, you should be able to deal with any champ. But i still think Sylas and LeBlanc are a better choice. Both champs got a better kit not only for the lane but for the overall team to work with. Ekko can stun sure - but so can tank supports as well. Besides his R ekko don't really got anything special anymore. Thanks to Sylas
I would 100% agree with this if it weren't for two things 1) Sylas waveclear = non existent 2) ekko has a much lower ban rate when compared to Leblanc
: Can people stop saying "ez"
: was about to flame you hard
: Its not the worst chatlog we've got in recent history. But you were somewhat negative to your mates. > Cat Dog Pig Cow: with 10k points u cant be good with him there it starts. Masterypoints doesn't show the skill of a person. I saw plat 2 players with 500k mastery points champs, and the didn't play good at all. But you were negative towards your mate. > Cat Dog Pig Cow: imagine kha ganking bot Cat Dog Pig Cow: such free kills Cat Dog Pig Cow: but hes wasting his time with mid that part is just annoying and can have a negative impact on you mates > Cat Dog Pig Cow: dont forget to rep ezreal Cat Dog Pig Cow: int + afk You should know by now, that calling for reports is bannable. If your mates are see it on their own, they will report him. And it doesn't matter if 1 or 9 reports. It always count as 1 > Cat Dog Pig Cow: u fked up the whole game > Cat Dog Pig Cow: why u talkin? > Cat Dog Pig Cow: ur bad too cait Cat Dog Pig Cow: but ez is just worse Cat Dog Pig Cow: gg wp ez Cat Dog Pig Cow: imagine having adc :D how can you not see this behavior is wrong. Your punishment is absolut correct
> You should know by now, that calling for reports is bannable. Rly? So that means that 60% of the players I play with should be banned (including me oof).

I think riot is busy enough with all of the bugs than to deal with shit on the servers
: Tbh Ekko was seen a lot before he got almost destroyed on top lane with nerfs. At this point there are better options than ekko in my opinion, but to be fair i would love to see more ekko on the rift. Azir and Aurelion are for me the weirdest and hardest champions to play with. And even to get a decent comp around them is hard enough
Ekko mid is really strong (as an ekko main I should know this) so sry but it still doesn't answer my question. His top can still be viable but just not as much as it used to be. Ekko Jung got nerfed to the ground which is when I stopped seeing ppl use him Hi again btw

: I know what you mean about auto filled. When i play with 2 friends and we all take fill - i'm the one who gets adc and jgl -.-'' My other friend gets top, mid with fill.. thats really odd. I learned the hard way, in S3 that i need to play support because of ranked and normals. Well i did and fell in love with 2 Champs - Leona and Vel'koz. Vel'koz more or less because of Spazie who quit league a few years ago but i still hold my golden darn up high. But for the aautofill, Riot tried serveral option with Teambuilder and so on. And Autofill usually tries not to kick in but if the position you choose are mostly taken then you got maybe bad luck. In your promos at least you don't get auto filled - i know not helpfull because then you got the curse of the promo.... And we only got the bug report button since the new client was up. The old client didn't got that. Still miss the old Client - less fancy but stable and more practical.
